It provides all the basic features you need from a mobile banking app. However it provides ONLY the most basic features you can expect from a mobile banking app. There are no notifications or warnings for low account balance. There is no ability to send or receive cash transfers to/from other people, not even to other 3Rivers account holders... it does all the basics - nothing more, nothing less.
Easy to use, and I can get so much done with it. internal transfers, instant balances, I can lock my card if I lose it, and even check my credit score. Only downside is when the whole app stops working. I can't type in a password to even log in, nothing interactable works, it's like it's frozen. And this happens at random, but far too often for my liking.
While I understand it is still a work in progress, stability issues, constant downtime, and the inability to select individual transactions to get full details are the main points that are hindering this app. With that being said, I gave it 4☆ because I have watched the steady progress their tech department has made making this app comparable to others out there.
Decent app over all. It's nice you can instantly view your balance on the opening page! The only problems that I've noticed are that the app can have problems more often than it should and can be quite hard to navigate depending on what you're trying to do on it so it can take some getting use to.
Ehh.. Used to be good. I deposit almost all my checks through the app itself, used to be easy to get a good/clear shot of my check. Now they automatically take the fastest picture it can, they always come out blurry and I have to sit there hovering over my check for 10 minutes just for it to finally take a good picture. This occurs for both sides of the check. Please change this back.
It's absolutely absurd to have a mobile banking app that constantly says it can't validate your info to log in. doesn't work more then half the time. It's always a surprise as to whether or not you can log in. I mean, doesn't everyone love it when you never know whether you'll be able to have access to your account or not!? This NEEDS fixed! It has me debating on switching banks completely!
This banking app does everything I need! You can look back a month of your withdrawal/income, deposit checks, and even check your credit card. You can also use it to transfer from checking to savings. Only thing they could add is easy access to statements, instead of having to log on to the computer for older ones.
The app crashes a lot more than the app used for West End. There are a few features I like with this app as in the card security and easy. On the checking/savings balance I would like to the balance after each transaction of your account of the time of that transaction & not just at the top & have more than just 1 month of transactions. I was use to having exact balance after each transaction & at least 2 or 3 months if not more from West End app. And have a place to submit suggestions
Every time I need to move money around its always down or glitchy. Very poor running system. ALWAYS at the most inconvenient times on the weekends when no one can help you! Needs to be updated and more accessible to have a REAL PERSON help you when there's a problem.
The app overall met my main goals; checking balances, transfer funds & deposit checks. There's still room for improvement. The latest gripe I had I didn't get the notification on the app for the online shutdown for 3 days for the bank merging. The app kicked me out while I was in it and kept displaying unable to verify my identity after I just logged in. It cost the difficulties to check the balance & unable to transfer or deposit since it was on the weekend, the branch offices are closed.
Great app. Great bank. I can make transfers to pay loans I have with 3rivers and can pay bills through the app. Took one star away only because you have to set up bills and the transfer function with the bank first, instead of just setting it up online. Which could be a plus if you like that security
more information should be available on this app. routing number, account numbers, etc. it would also be helpful to have an FAQ page built into the app. i am a big fan of the instant balance feature. the app layout is alright, there is just more information that could be really helpful for customers. rather than customers having to call if they don't have routing or account numbers they could just look at their app. the app also frequently fails to load or crashes.
Edit: FINALLY after getting months of error messages about automated click programs being used, i can use the app again... 3 stars for the long wait. Since updated, all I can get is an error about using an automated click program and then it forces me to close the program. I cannot do anything with the app anymore.
Just straight up stopped working recently no matter what I do. I will change this review I guess if it gets fixed. EDIT: Still not working on a brand new phone from a different carrier months later, this company is kind of a joke... Edit: They have made it worse again somehow. Now you can't have basic Android functions turned on or the app won't open and it closes so fast you can't see what it's telling you to do and you can't screenshot the message to even try and read it. Garbage company.
Updated: Only 1 star because I've uninstalled and reinstalled so many times and now I can no longer log in due to the same notification popping up saying: mobile banking application experiencing intermittent connection issues. Check network and try again. I have NO connection issues!!! Full bars. This app is the ONLY one giving me issues!!
excellent app! Very handy when I'm not able to make it to the bank and/or it's closed. Had very few issues, one occurred when an old account was still linked so i wasn't able to access the mobile app but i contacted customer service and issue was resolved within seconds.
Works great most of the time! Was just having issues with not being able actually navigate around the app (was like my screen wasn't noticing I was touching the screen at all, but only this app was affected). But restarting my phone fixed the problem.
The application was just recently updated. It looks smooth and organized, which makes if easy to navigate. Having the capability to organize different accounts based on preference is another plus. Love the app!
I have a G7 and the June 2021 update rendered the app useless. Have been messaging back and forth with the helpdesk and there's nothing they can do. I'm forced to use the browser on my phone instead and have to visit the branch to deposit checks. Very annoying and inconvenient. I hope it gets fixed. Was also told my phone was too old for the app???
I am greatful that this app has improved quite a bit. The fingerprint login has finally been fixed to work correctly (like other financial Apps). It would be great though, to not to have to use a full length password AFTER I have already logged in with a fingerprint- for deposits & payments. How about just a pin number?
App quit working. Says I'm using an automated clicker program. The last update was 6/16/21. It has been over a month and hasn't been changed. Also can not see or pay my credit card. Most people don't know how to fix these issues, neither do I. I would imagine 3 Rivers farms the app out to another company. 3 Rivers, get on their case!
It's been a really great experience. Could use a little more options when using the transfer function (like being able to transfer cents instead of whole dollars), but outside of that it's wonderful and very easy to use
The app doesn't even load and continues to keep crashing over and over I emailed the people to fix it and its still messed up so I gave up on it! A week later still has the same problems and never was able to use it.
Pathetic. As of 5/17 on a Galaxy S10, the "updated terms and conditions" are impossible to accept. You can't scroll, you can't select accept, and most importantly, you can not access the app due to this bug. Do you not test this before you make changes? You would think that a BANKING app of all things would have someone checking to make sure updated terms and conditions don't break the whole app... Where's the update to fix this issue???
Used to work perfectly. For some time now it will not allow me to manage or make payments. The only thing I can do is make a transfer. Would rate higher if that is fixed. Update: once again this app has failed after an update. Uninstalled and reinstalled fresh multiple times, and continuously gives an error and crashes. If I could rate lower than a 1 I would, due to prior issues not being fixed.
