Not available for international users, what a joke. 4411 are unable to accept mobile registrations outside Benelux. Drive to Brugge, finally found a parking space but the parking metre was out of order so wanted to ensure I could pay to avoid fine. But 4411 doesn't allow foreign users to register and pay for parking.
I have used many other parking applications in and outside of Belgium. It's solid, easy and cheap. I use the app at least twice per week. Usually detects the correct parking meter and allows you to intuitively select the correct one if need be. I experienced the loss of a session only once, but haven't seen that happen ever again. It's easy to set up a vehicle and adding vehicles is free of charge. Most features of the app that I have been using are free of charge, except for parking charges.
Can't see the parking meter number in the app, stop advertising on web pages and Indigo/Streeteo that you actually can see them and not have to move to renew. I parked and went home, but forgot to pay, and now I have to walk back to the car to check the meter number and pay via the app. Edit: @Sandra, that's not an answer to the problem. I never parked in that street before, so I couldn't know the parking meter number OOS###... It would be great if there's a map with every parking meter together with its number. Or when geolocation is used, it gives the meter number so I don't have to walk 50m further to check the number. If you want to make it right, make it right :D
Edit: the developers mention in their response that it is fixed below.. but thats just not true. My entire phone still freezes up the minute the app is running. --- Absolutely horrible ever since it got updated. Constant crashes and actually freezes up my pixel 4 for 3 minutes if I try to start a session. Get your things together, devs! How dare you release something as buggy as this when getting a ticket for not paying parking depends on it!!
*Not usable without Google Play Services* The app is very good and easy to use. Only problem is that it is 100% defendant on the Google Play Services. GPS are supposed to make things easier, like the maps and address loopkup, but they are not essential. If I know the parking zone (AN123 or something), why am I not able to start a session? It should not need GPS for this.
USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. Paid for parking with the app, still got a fine. Three months and eight phonecalls later, customer service has done nothing, not even refunded the payment charged!
The worst parking app you can think of. Technologically obsolete by design. Impossible to pay using automatic means..
The fact that you have to pay 25 cents for every parking session (2 hours in my city) is a total scam. Worst parking app in all of Europe.
I am trying last three days to registered as a new user but i haven't received verification code, it seems to be an issue with verification code sending or registration new users?
I'm using this app everyday for M-Tickets and it's really a great simple app, but for the past 3 days it hasn't been working, just keeps "loading" the ticket and then crashes... It has happened before, but usually jost for a day or two. So that's disappointing, because I was really happy to save some money at least while buying cheapest and most convenient DL tickets via 4411. :/
Self starting app resulting in overcharges. Worked well in the past. Even self stopped when quitting the parking place. Two days in a row, although I have received the notification that the app couldn't start (notificatin dissapears instantly), and after spending 10-15 mins in that park place(I do that for more than 4 months), just to get my kid to the creche, it charged me for 3 hours of parking. According to the support team it is my fault I haven't stopped the app although it never started
App crashes after attempting to start session, so it is unusable now. In the past the session would stop correctly at 19h in the zone I park, not anymore. If I don't stop it myself they let me pay until 22h. Testing an app is essential and it seems like this hasen't been done or not properly at least...
Not sure what happened since i last used it with updates but i cannot enter card details (oops something went wrong) i close a session using mobile data, 2 hours later i get a message the session is stil running, i close again but (oops something went wrong) Unfathomable that this is suposed to be an officialy promoted app. fix it.
I paid successfully with the app on Friday. Then I tried to pay for the same parking on Saturday but it wasn't clear if payment had gone through or not eventually I paid three times to make sure and got a 30 EUR fine as payment had not gone through. Very confusing app!
Good interface, nothing wrong with the app. Just missing my 10min free parking and find it rediculous that we still have to pay .25 start and end cost, which i thought where transaction costs for the text message service.
Only using this app because I don't want to waste my time on the SMS alternative... App closes every so many times when using it. The mandatory transaction fee is just a usability tax which is just to squeeze some more money out of people using short park.
Terrible service. They promise a free ticket when parking at P&R around Antwerp, yet still charge you in the end. Contacted their support, but received almost no support and default replies. Use at your own risk! -UPDATE- They responded to my case after several contacts and resolved it correctly. I will update my score to 3 stars for this, but I am still disappointed in the original support.
I don't know how it's even possible but everytime I open the app or when it gets active my mobile data just vanishes. I find this a very strange situation but i keep testing and it keeps happening only when the app is active. Ive been trying to close an active ticket for 40min but I'm simply unable to since everytime I try my mobile data vanishes. Highly suspicious.
Terrible experience with this app. Charges you for free parking spots and charges you more than when you would pay manually because of the 25 cent administration fee. Tried to contact the support team for this issue but they don't even respond. Just an update for anyone reading this: I did as Sandra asked on 20/08/2020. Now, the 25th of September 2020 I still didn't get an answer. If you ask me they deserve less than 1 star.
App is not working properly as before... have to fill the parking meter manually now. Before, it shows all the meters on the map and now not anymore! Please fix this issue.
Terrible... Sometimes it doesn't even find any cities. Now today I spend a good 20 minutes trying to buy a ticket but I kept getting access denied. SMS ticket also didn't work so I had to use the machine... There are better apps supported in Belgium as this one
The check on Norwegian phone numbers is WRONG!! I have had the same mobile for ten years.Was rejected. What's more, it is very very illogical to check the format of foreign phone numbers. That is not maintainable for your programmers.
useful until you need proof of payment!!! you get a parking fine but 4411 doesn't provide you with sufficient proof that your payment was made in due time to avoid paying your parking fine. coordination between 4411, client & parking officers needs to improve. for now we will stop using this app and go back to ¨old school¨payments....
I tried to start a parking session and got kicked out of the app. so I went to a different parking because is was thinking that the app didn't work. But after a few hours I logged back in on the app and my session was still going. This app scammed me of my money.
As I've paid 350% of the normal parking price at the train station of Bruges, I'm definitely not using this thing again. What a horrible experience.
