The Swiss National Bank is breaking new ground on the design front – it is moving away from the depiction of well-known personalities altogether. Each note in the new series depicts a typically Swiss characteristic, which is then illustrated graphically using a range of elements. The inspiration behind the new banknote series is ‘The many facets of Switzerland’. The 50-franc note focuses on the wealth of experiences Switzerland has to offer.

I would have expected the app to tell me a bit about the bank note, instead it just shows me what I already can see myself (slightly augmented). would be nice to have some background info about the different elements.
It was amazing im from the usa and i ordered a swiss ₣10 note and this app worked im upset that the usa does not have anything like that with the us dollar thanks SNB 😁
The app does not activate camera auto focus and was unable to recognize any bank notes.
Unfortunately no autofocus and doesn't recognise any banknote
It worked with the first note i showed the app, then no more...

Interesting features of the new bank notes. Currently the 50 franc and the 20 franc note are supported. It needs to be a really new note without creases to work smoothly.
It's a really nifty idea. It just shows that the SNB has put a bit more thought into the design of it's currency. It can be a bit tricky to get it to work, but when it works, it's really nice. Looking forward to the new tenner.
On my Sony z5c (Android 5.1.1) it locks the touch function of the screen. app works for front / back animation but you can't swipe or change apps or click. Needs a hard reset (yellow power disconnect button) to regain touch functionality
Not reliable and very buggy
What could or should be a great app isn't. It simply doesn't work or at least doesn't work on my phone, a Samsung A20e. I used a 10 CHF and a 1000 CHF and neither did anything. I framed. Made sure the notes were flat and tried both sides. Nothing. Pity
