So far so good. This is an awesome app for endurance training esp. for those doing sports/trad climbing. Love it how it seems scientific and sustainable in terms of improving your pullups. The warmup is a nice touch on top of that. Well made. Kudos to the development team.
I think that this is a perfect app but I really want the function of deleting some days from history. Because at the start I used second program which counts pulldowns (not pullups). Because of this app thinks that I did more pullups than I actually done. Please add this function or fix counting real pull-ups.
It's simple, easy to follow. Motivating. I like the history feature--makes it easy to see progress. No frills which is much appreciated. Occasional bug causes it to close, but that's rare.
it works for I want it for. It's interface could be better seems to have a level system. Would be nice to know how it works. instead of randomly seeing the level increase. a few tweeks and I'll give it 5 stars.
Awesome and simple app. I have been progressing steadily. The pre-workout warmup is, in my limited experience, superior to many other fitness apps. I often use this warmup before starting with other apps' warmups
Does not adjust the pace after workouts. Sometimes I am not able to complete the whole exercise and for example in the last set I do only 5-6 pull-ups instead of 9. The app does not give a damn, two days after it will give me more...
It is the most practical pull up app that i have ever seen. Warm up and cool down features are appreciable and the correct overload in each session is perfect. A wizard behind the app. GREAT
Great app. I use the chin up bar that fits in a doorway. Great to have the stretches before and after for injury prevention. Good range of stretches appropriate for the exercise.
I'm discovering these workout apps to be most beneficial. Fitness is important for my self and the programs work well for motivation and guidance when I am bored or uninspired with my own programs.
very reliable for a hard workout. Also if you feel like going beyond the recommended number of reps in a set it allows you to input that and keeps logs of the workouts!
I do this before my 5x5 m/w/f. The stretches and pullups are a great warmup for my 5x5 (squat heavy) free weight routine. All of my 5x5 routine, is lifting weight up off the rack or ground. This hits my muscles from the opposite direction, and did wonders for my posture. I think I'm an inch taller, and my "belly" is gone.
This is hard! Keep that in mind. They might scale up the workout a little fast, but if you follow the 'rules' it works out in the end.
Great setup. Offers recommended warm ups and stretches. Variety of programs for each fitness level.
Incredibly good application! I went from 11 to 20 reps just in less than 2 months, no other exercises, no special techniques, just this app over there.
Decent app that takes into account basic principles of training. Could be better with more options like setting time of workout, different intensities of workouts ( somedays high reps, other days low reps with added weight)
The app is great, but would be better if you allowed to get notification for another repetition of pullups when the app is in the background.
Great App, would like to have integration with Google Fit. I do several workouts and this is not tracked anywhere. Please implement Google Fit and I and my others purchase it.
At 9-11 level the volume becomes too much. Within one week increase in volume is 9 reps. I got to 3 day and after completing 2nd set (7 reps) everything goes down the hill. It's very optimistic to expect to jump from 3-5-3-3-7 sets to 5-7-5-5-6+ within one week,
It's too hard for beginners. I can't pull up. Program advice me to do negative pull ups about 17 times!!! I can do only 8. Its impossible for beginners
It's a good app and it really helped me. My only problem is that it gives tips and is geared for men and only men. I really don't have a problem with that, but I'd be cool to have tips for woman as well.
This app has helped gradually get back into doing pull ups and it doesn't start off doing crazy sets and reps. Great job guys.
No way to view where you are in the program. I like the warm up and after workout stretching, but what's really missing is the ability to see where you are once you start the program. Also, many other apps like this present a calendar view to display your pass workouts, to mark days that you have exercised.
