500_fonts - Text on photos

It's very uncomfortable to use there are awesome alternatives to choose. Update. Now It has become much worse. When I open the app it literally destroys the phone for more than a minute or two, all I can see is a black screen and I cant even lock or restart my phone. Hopefully system closes the app on its own .This app gave me the worst experience ever. The reason is not the smartphone, but the app itself.

Don't bother. I want to put text on photos where I want it. Hate that this app automatically centers the added text. Also, every time I chose a color for the text, it came out white only. Disgusted with a "fancy product" that just lets you type IN WHITE ONLY in the very center of the photo. Any idiot can do that, and a photo editor with text adding feature failed.

Installed it 'cause it looked amazing in Play Store, but when I started using it I realized it's so complicated to use (and there should be tutorials but there were none). Also, the fonts are incomplete (not even a hundred), and it asked me to rate it 5 stars so I could get the remaining fonts permanently. Why would I give it 5 stars? I struggled so much as I tried to guess which button to tap and which is which. The moment I hated the most was when I saved my work and it said "Saved completely" but when I tried finding it in my phone, it did not save. Worse? My progress in the app got lost completely. Waste of time.

could have been a great app but you can't undo many edits and you can't save you work to come back to it. If you add multiple texts boxes you can't change any of the prior boxes after you added the next box. It's completely silly if you make a change there's no way to undo the change without actually losing everything and starting over. Defeats the purpose of all these awesome features. I was just about to upgrade Disappointed.

I cannot figure out how to use the fonts. I can locate them, but i cannot apply them onto my projects. Very complicated app when similar apps are simple to use. Maybe you'll be able to figure out how to utilize the 500 different fonts. Also intrusive ads pop up and you cannot finish your work until the ad goes away. Which means your train of thought is constantly being interrupted by ads. so you lose a bunch of time waiting for ads to disappear in order to complete your projects.

Absolutely horrible! Every time I save a picture, it stretches the picture out!! Why??? Also, before the update, I could always save it in PNG format, but not anymore! Now you need to upgrade to the "PRO" version in order to do that. I get it. You need to make money. Fine. But the more paid features you add, the worst the app gets! Unfortunately, I'm going to have to switch to another app. This app had so much potential :( Thanks for being great in the beginning! <3

In order to unlock all 500 fonts you must rate 5 stars. This isn't the reason why I rated only 3, though. The interface is, overall, quite difficult to navigate and has some annoying glitches. First thing I would recommend is to add functional undo and redo buttons at the top of the screen. Also, I would like it if you would be able to go back and edit previous texts in a convenient way (by tapping on it). Although the app does what it's supposed to, it gets frustrating at times.

This app makes you rate it 5 stars to unlock all fonts, which is probably why it has such a high rating. Also, the major drawbacks: no undo button; no way to edit previous text; bugs out if you accidentally try to exit the app; & you can't make the text go as long as you want over an image. It is confusing to use, with no tutorial, BUT it is an effective and good app. It does what it says, but the drawbacks make it near unusable.

This is actually a cool app with a lot of useful features, the drawback is that the ad placement is designed to pop up over the toolbar that you are frequently using to adjust the image which in turn causes you to constantly click on ads that try to open the play store which makes it more annoying than it's worth. I like the app, but I would rather have the option to pay for it and just do away with ads completely.

This app was absolutely horrific! I truly don't understand why this has such a high rating. It is so difficult and confusing to use and all the good/decent fonts couldn't be used unless you payed for pro! In phonto however, all fonts are free and they're ACTUALLY good. There's also a feature there where you can download fonts. This is the worst editing app experience I've ever had!

Update: previous version was awesome, used it nearly every day. This new version is HORRIBLE!! Please change it back...it wasn't broken! One thing I'd have suggested is a more reasonably priced annual "pro" rate ($10/month is extreme). Now I won't even be using the free version though, time to find something else. Also with previous version the only frustration was if I made a mistake I had to start over, there wasn't a way to undo a step (that I knew of). But now it's just all one big MESS. :(

Clunky, complicated, and didn't work. Unable to load a logo over the image of a photo. Offers 450 additional fonts only of you leave a 5 star review. Props on a great business strategy, but functionality was a no go. Unable to load or save to phone. Unable to post to my feed in Instagram. In summary, great selection of fonts, overly complicated, and poor execution as unable to post or save.

The best app I've found on Android for font selection and creating logos. It is not perfect, however. For example; the text placement over images is a bit clunky and may be difficult to center There are things that could use improvement. I use this app and 2 or 3 other apps to create and edit my images to get the desired product.

I'm finding that this app is quite useful. Sure there are ads that might hinder some progress here and there, but all in all this is a very enjoyable app that helps me to edit most of my text, intro screens, and thumbnails for my YouTube Channel, and I really value the level of ingenuity and freedom this app gives me. I find it a bit unusual that you need to rate 5 stars to get all 500 fonts available, but it sure beats paying for it.

The fonts are really good. The examples are very nice and the feautures are very nice. I just want to suggest that you create a more pleasing background to the app like the main menu was so dark. and the backgrounds aren't exactly pretty. its so plain. maybe add a little color and design to it so that the app's aura isn't so gloomy. Other than that I'm satisfied with it.

I've come to like this app after getting used to it BUT is there some way that random fonts could be accessed more easily instead of having to painstakingly scroll through the list from top to bottom? There are 500 of them after all. Secondly, isn't there some way you can go back and make alterations to text that you're already typed and pasted down, even after you would have added a new text?

Obnoxiously, the app forces you to vote 5 stars in order for you to unlock all the fonts, not counting the ones reserved for pro users. Precise nudging of text is counted as a "pro" feature. Font selection is decent, but totally uncategorized except alphabetically. I haven't found any control of the sizing or spacing of any of the text, either, severely limiting it.

This app bribes users with 500 free fonts if you will rate it 5 stars! I tried it out, then uninstalled and changed my rating. Unpredictable behavior, constant loss of work or reversion to previous state, doesn't remember what font you are using or show recently used fonts. Poor management of layers... I couldn't write on top of a shape I had just drawn. This app might be ok if you are willing to save your work at every step and reopen the image afresh. Not worth my time.

Promising app. However, ads pop up areas of the UI that cover buttons. Hitting the back button perpetually prompts the "Do you want to close the app?" and your choices then are to hit "Cancel" which reverses any and all work you were just working on, or to actually close the app, killing your work. Highly frustrating yet promising app with some UI fixes.

If this app had a "pay one time, own it forever" model I would buy it so fast, because it works, its simple, and you can have your text on your pic in seconds. But I do not use it often enough to justify a monthly subscription. That is honestly a dumb idea for this type of software where a large majority of people will not use it often enough, or in a way to make a return that would justify a monthly subscription. Anyone serious about their graphics is already using photoshop anyhow.

Not easy to navigate, especially when you need to re-edit something. It says to double tap to edit previous screen but nothing happens. It'd be very frustrating to get something almost done, make a mistake and have to go back to do it all over again. There's no go back button. Flawed!

I am just getting started with adding text to pictures...I know that I am far behind everyone else when it comes to this but so far it's been a great experience & there seems to be many ways of adding just the right details in order for your pictures to come out amazing. I have made mistakes & had to start over but I guess that's how you learn!

This app is a total piece of garbage. Not only do you HAVE to rate the app 5 stars in order to unlock all of the fonts, the ads in the app are placed right OVER the fonts you get to choose from. There is no guidence when you first open the app, making me get lost in all of the tabs and options it throws at you. I don't reccomend this app.
