500px – Discover great photos

app is good. some improvements to the interface would be nice. in particular it would be nice to set favourite genres for easy access to the popular/upcoming feeds as the stuff I like is lower down the list and I have to scroll to find it every time. Also, why is there no search feature or ability to favourite users galleries?

Tried to make an account today but it won't let me get past verifying my email. It says it sent me an email but there's no email there. I pressed resend email and all it does it show a loading symbol. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it won't let me do it, still. :(

I love it. If you appreciate good, quality photography, then you must have 500px. It makes the photos on places like Instagram seem as if they were taken by children. The photographers are dedicated to the art.

Before using this app, I used Agora. But this app totally changed my experience. This app has fulfilled my requirements. However, some improvements must me made in certain areas such as You should let non- awesome members to post 10-12 photos a week instead of the 7 photos/week policy. Not only this but also my pic quality gets compromised as soon as I post a photo. These changes will make the app better and attract more people.

I have put hard work into my photos and for them to be declined and told they're not worthy is absolutely disgusting. I am an independent photographer whom enjoys taking pictures of scenic areas and it means a lot to me. Them telling me that it didn't mean anything to me is awful. Don't subscribe. They're only in it for the money.

Great app to share and enjoy other photographers photos in full screen. However, app still needs some work and some improvements. It would be good to be able to actually go to the feed of a photographer you see in your "followed" or "unfollowed" lists when you click on their name or icon. Also, when looking at the stats for your photos, when selecting a photo, you're directed to a link to download the app, I'm already on the app looking at my photos....

Been using this app for a while. I thought it was a good alternative to IG, but lately it's been lagging non stop. I have to try 4-5 times for a photo to be uploaded if it has a high resolution (24.2 MP). Also, the notification section is a mess. I do receive them in time in the notification bar above, but when I open the app it doesn't refresh and doesn't show all of them. Usually takes a lot of time and sometimes doesn't even show who likes my posts. Please fix these issues.

Frustrating. It doesn't open photo manager, and that is the only way to sell photos! That was the only reason I came to this app. Please fix the bugs. Also support stopped working after a while. There's more: you can not upload more than one photo at once the procedure takes a long time, the app version is very limited without any control on licensing and many other things....

500px is a professional-look app for showcasing your photos. It has a sleek interface and I think gives value to each individual image. The stats and figures on your image may or may not appeal to everyone, particularly as we're dealing with art but may offer some form of objective feedback. There are some limitations to the number if photos you can upload. Overall a great way to display your top photos with an emphasis on the photo rather than community which fits the profile of, say Flickr.

It's a nice photographers' community page. However, the app has some bugs, specially the Notification page, wherein if one clicks on a particular notification and comes back to the notification page, it gets weird and keeps on showing same notification over and over again when you scroll down, until you close the app and open it again to see the correct order/actual notifications. So, please fix this, as it really becomes annoying.

Good, but need a lot of improvement. 500px is a great page and the community is great. It really takes care of Photography. But the App has some bugs and miss some options that can only be find on the website. At the support team: Many times a picture get uploaded with the message "upload finished" but it doesn't upload the picture. And please insert the option for the picture Manager.

Im loving 500px has alot of great photography and photographers. Very happy to be able to Express my creative side and share it with all around the world Definitely check it out. Get started sharing that amazing photography with the world and make some sales while you're at it😊👌

It's still buggy, like I can't make a gallery it glitches and shuts the app down when I try to make one, but it a good start if they keep working on it I'll edit my rating.

Is easy to use and very ,very enjoyable full of colors and photos that bring life to your eyes and mind. En other words, is exelent.

It hides your navigation bar every photo you visit. Incredibly annoying. Also no filter/sort option.

What's me to use email to verify my account. I don't have any emails. This has been going on for 2 days, resend email doesn't work.

Cannot verify account. No email received ( checked spam) clicking resend just hangs. Not a great start.

Fantastic place to share your photography & digital art! User interface is easy & responsive. Much more user friendly than Instagram in its current form which has deteriorated beyond all recognition over the last year with its pointless restrictions & bugs. If you are serious about photography & want to share with like minded people, get this app.

Keeps asking for verification by email, keep saying sent email but nothing arrives. Never had a problem using my email address before. UPDATE,still can't get into the app from my phone, even after reinstalling it. It keep saying email sent but I still receive nothing, NO REPLY FROM DEVELOPERS EITHER. All sorted now after getting in touch with them.

No groups, no photo manager in the app. Unlimited uploads are nice but come on already and fix this app. For the price of membership the app should be more functional.

The worst photo stock app ever. My photos were getting popular day by day and all of sudden, they banned my account without any warning, I didn't know what wrong I did.. Deleting the app right away and not recommended at all

Being a photographer, I thought this app is one of the best now, now I'm not so sure. Eyeem app the biggest photography app on the play store and had chosen my images for sale on market and all were selected for partner. Yet 500px declined my images they were the only app out of the seven other apps that I had my portfolio on that did. So I wouldn't waste your time and effort into putting your portfolio up trying to make it look good just to see it be declined. I can not recommend 500px.

I've been using this app for a while and I like sharing my photos with other photographers and seeing their work. However, the app has been more frustrating after the last update; photos viewed on the app don't seem to load in full resolution. When I enlarge a photo, the image doesn't resolve to full clarity like it used to. Also, the app seems to be signing me out pretty regularly instead of keeping me signed in.

Up until this last "update" I would say I loved this app! While there was substantial room for improvement, all of the basic functions worked well and it served its purpose. Immediately following the site/app being down for the better part of a day while performing what they called "scheduled maintenance" nothing works properly, literally nothing! Bugs, glitches, and freezing have all but made it unusable, and have 100% made it no longer fun, and very very frustrating! As a result many have left.

Please fix your app. Everytime I hit "view more" on the activity page I start seeing everything multiple times when I scroll down to see older activity. EXTREMELY ANNOYING

I keep coming back to this app. A worldwide community of photographers posting amazing, inspiring work. Although I am an amateur and use mobile phone, tablet and compact cameras my results have steadily improved over the years. The app controls are easy to use, and somehow the photographs I post look great even to my critical eye!

Difficult to find relevant content. There's no way to see galleries where a certain picture appears, which is one of the features I like most on the website. Navigation requires to constantly move between top left and bottom left corner for going back. Disappointing.
