511 NL is a free traveller information service operated by the Newfoundland and Labrador government.

511 NL app will provide:
- Road conditions along major highways (winter only);
- construction activity along major highways displayed on map graphic;
- the availability of ferry services;
- traffic camera images;
- links to partners' websites or information pages;
- links to Environment Canada weather;

what a terrible app! waste of taxpayers money. there is absolutly nothing on this that isnt on google maps or the govt weather app. it does not have half the construction warnings that it should. ex stuck in traffic now on outer ring by the cloverleaf backed up in every direction due to "BLASTING" but there is no info. it is also very slow and annoying. i do not trust this app compared to google. i uninstalled it.. booooo
