5e Monster Creator

Enjoy the app and the on the go ease of it. Sadly won't let me share or save it to my cell so I can share it with my players. Really want this fixed. Also would be nice if there was a few changes. No limit on str, con, wis, int ect right now it's maxed at 30 and if there was a spot for spells, more skill options, and an image to be added. This app has alot of potential

Nice app, I like to make monsters with it, its easy. However, there are a few bugs, examples: In the 'condition immunities' section, blinded isn't an option. When the app calculates skills, it doesn't add the proficiency bonus, and furthermore the app reads perception as a Charisma skill(perception is the only one I've tested so far). Also, more options for abilities and actions would be great. For abilities, it would be good to space them out, with everything so compact it can be hard to read.

Really nice app, use it all the time. Wish there was two things though. I wish You could add images to the Monsters/NPCs and there would be a selection of traits, skill, feats, and the such. A selection of spells would be nice but not a must have, because I just have a separate app for that and copy and paste.

Very very helpful, incredibly to use. However, the export and share function both don't work on my phone, with the export claiming that it's saved the png to your documents, but it never appears there or anywhere accessible in your files. Very annoying if you want to send someone your monster. I really hope this gets fixed soon, then the app would absolutely deserve 5 stars.

I downloaded it specifically to create the 12 demigods of my world while I'm away from my laptop.... Unfortunately the app doesn't have what I need for these big end game creatures that are supposed to frighten a party of 10. Being able to type over the CR box would be great (so I can set it to CR 35, +10 Prof). It would be a lot better if once the preset action boxes were full additional ones appeared.. Among other things (can't fit it all in review).

Not bad. Can improve quite a bit though. I wish I can select from a list of common Abilities, reactions, traits, etc, like Spellcasting or Pack Tactics or Parry. If the monster has the spellcasting ability, I cannot add the spells, DC or spell slots (not even manually). Useful to start the homebrewing process, but I certainly need more tools to complement this app.

Does not save png file, only keeps the monster stats in the app. Clunky to use/ edit. Very few external stats to work with and missing key basics. Had look everything up externally. It would have been quicker and easier to create my monster on paper since I had to finish creating there anyway. Uninstalling.

Pretty mediocre. It does make a convincing stat block. However there are some issues. Like it's difficult to understand the fields and how those field affect other fields. It's also falls short with being unable to calculate CR automatically. I think what would be good is if there's a tutorial that teaches you how to create a basic monster so that we learn how to use this interfaces and how the parameters/field affect one another.

Great app for making custom monsters and it looks amazing once exported, my only complaint is there isn't a feature to add a photo of the creature I'm making. I'd love to have the monsters image right next to the new stat block so I can stop hunting for ot in my gallery when my players encounter the creature.

A quality app, which does have some glitches but receives a lot of love from it's creator, while remaining free. Beyond that it is also mostly unique making it hard to compare without a competing app. The inbuild rules of 5e and monster design are mostly accounted for, but can also mostly be ignored, if you want. Something I'd suggest, is an option to exceed the normal 5e limits on stats and CR's for epic level content, but that's understandably niche and not a reasonable critique for the app.

Really great idea and intuitive to use. The issue is that it constantly crashes and loses all your progress. If the stability issues can be addressed then this'll be a really great tool.

Can be useful at times. But doesn't have an auto save. If you click anywhere but the monster or rotate the screen, it goes back to the main screen and you lose you progress. I liked it before a got a new phone D:

Great app so far, easy to use and pretty intuitive. My main problem with it is no matter what creature I'm making all of their skill saves come up as (-4). My only way around this is to put in the numbers myself.

Great app, two biggest issues are the inability to share content created with this app, as well as the export to a png function does not seem to work. I'd give five stars if both were to be fixed.

I have not used the app for long but have found it easy to use. The biggest thing is that the spell casting (but only if you have more than a few spells) is difficult and at times impossible to have for your monster.

This app is great. The only two things I wish it did was allow you to upload your own pictures to the stat block, and that it would auto calculate a creatures CR level.

Love it Super helpful when you want to homebrew a monster will on the go. My only issue is that there's a massive space between the ability and action section of the statblocks as well as the bonus from Constitution doesn't show up on the monsters HP

(Mobile, Android) Anytime I minimize the app while creating or editing a Monster it loses all of my progress. This effectively makes the app useless if I need to check something out.

Very good, just a little buggy! Thanks for the great app! Edit: Really buggy and not sure if its getting better. Could just be my tablet.

I really enjoyed this app and have made many many creatures with it. Wouldve been 4 stars BUT recently after the most recent update it stopped working and I dont want to reinstall it and risk losing my data.

Really good app! Really useful and enjoyable. Just one thing I want to point out- when you add languages to a creature, undercommon is spelt uncercommon.

It's a good app but every time I flip my screen I have to restart my monster!!! It is very hard to finnish a monster! Please fix!

I think the developer team must add additional HP on the side of total die the monster has, it will be as good as the default monster stat block that we usually see

Terrible app whenever i try to go into my monsters it crashes and i have a new phone do no download this app all my time creating monsters for my campaign was wasted

It's honestly a amazing app and exactly what I was looking for but I wish I could delete monsters I previously created like I have too many monsters that I have to search to find the one I want so I just wish I could delete monsters
