5e Tome of Items

The item filter before the recent update made navigating the library a LOT easier. Uninstalled it when the dev decided to erase the system and turned it into an alphabetically-sorted-list. Sure the app still has a search bar, but it's not going to help if what you're trying to do is to find an item of a specific kind without knowing the name of the item.

The screenshots show filters for rare, very rare, etc items, and also filters for potions, weapons, armor etc. Where are they in the latest version? This used to be my go to reference tool for special items in the system, I would love to see the feature come back as there are almost 500 listed items to search through.

Very useful and (almost) comprehensive! You can't currently filter by 'Artifact' when searching, a small oversight. I would also like to suggest a QoL improvement; an additional drop down menu to filter by source/module. Cheers!

Edit: They fixed the problems You can now sort items by type and rarity, very nice. However you can't properly sort items by book, so if you don't know the acronym for the book, then you're boned. But otherwise this is great, I use it constantly.

this is a very useful app my only reservation is some of the items that are unique to hardcovers are not present. Adding an option for homebrew items could also be useful. Also some item links lead to other items or are dead links.

It was great and really helpful until filtering and categorization was removed. Now it's difficult to find anything. Hopefully the developer fixes this soon.

Now that you can sort the items by rarity and type (and basically answered my prayer XD) this app has been one of the only apps I really loved to use. I appreciate that the maker of this app listens to the user's suggestions and someone like who just loves to read what kind of stuff there is. Like one of the reviews has said, some kind of filter for the source material would be appreciated but all in all, kudos to you 😊.

i really like how easy it is to access all current items from all books, and i love how the items are divided by rarity. the search bar is great. i dont like how bland the color is though.

I used to reference this app all the time, but the newest update made it a nightmare to use because the new UI leaves no form of organization. Would not recommend with the new UI.

There's a number of typos, but that's not a big deal. The search field is unlabeled, but at the top of every group so easy to get to. I'm sure this violates some copyright, so get it while you can before it's taken down.

Please please please for the love of god, bring back the filters. It wasn't perfect but it was pretty great before, it was my go-to app when I was looking up stuff for characters.

It was good until recent up date the ability to search has gone, all useful tabs have been removed, it was so much easier to navigate before the update

Now you can no longer sort by rarity, it makes the app useless and very difficult to use. Please change it back or I'll find something else to use.

This was a fantastic app before they inexplicably removed all filtering from it. It's now impossible to use for the purposes I want to use it for.

great app lots of good info lets me search specific items easily just wish there was a gold value along with the items. I would leave 5 stars.

This app was amazing. Till they changed the format. Pleas revert it back it takes too long to find what i want now

App used to be amazing simple and a great tool now its a waste of space on my phone. Fix the Ui need catategories.

Your new update removed the ease of use. It roved all the sorting so its made it harder to use for my purposes

Like others have said, the organization of this app took a nosedive for no reason. Far more complicated to use now.

You guys made an awesome app and then proceeded to ruin it. I'm not even mad just... why? I don't understand how you reached that conclusion.

Revert it now. The QOL is just horrible.

Love the content. Has every 5e magic item in it. Would be better if there was a search function though. I don't want to have to remember an item's rarity just to find it.

The app only contains items from XGTE, nothing from the PHB or DMG

It contains just a few items, none of elaborate ones, and some of character sheet kind apps have more complete database than this one

Nice and simple, excellent for quickly looking up magic items handed out from treasure.
