The app seems fine. You can't do the whole program on the free version, which isn't clearly indicated anywhere. My biggest gripe otherwise is that it doesn't automatically advance you once you complete a day, so I accidentally ran the first day twice because I didn't realize that I had to swipe forward to get to the next step in the program. When you open the app each day, it takes you automatically to what you last finished, rather than what you should be doing that day.

I like this app. It's better on Apple devices, but more expensive in that ecosystem. However for Android it is certainly adequate. Today I found out that it doesn't back up to Google though, so you can't use it on a new device without losing your running history. Also, you can't switch between devices if you want to do that, without each device getting its own history.

I've had this app a few times before and tried it for free those times. When my doctor told me that I really need to get exercising and losing weight, this was the first app I looked to. I am not able to fully run but I can use the time segments to do a regular walk or a fast walk and alternate. The app does well with helping me gauge when to start and when to stop! I recommend buying it!

This app is great. I like that you can have the option of sound cues for moving to the next portion so I don't have to keep checking. The little motivation phrases are cool. It's super easy to navigate. The app has great incremental increases. Not too much too fast.

I guess it does what it advertises. However, it shows the full 8 weeks program initially, but halfway through 2nd week it blocks all functions unless you pay and upgrade. I found this very deceptive, since this is virtually not advertised anywhere (the only place I could find anything about was in a question buried in the help pages). I'd have no problem paying, but no way I'll be doing business with anybody who tries to market their products like this.

Honestly, buy it. Yes, it's not free (to see past week 2 you have to pay, like, $4), but it's worth it. I *hate* running, but during Quarantine I didn't know what else to do. This app gave me structure and a plan. I think it starts much higher than "couch" - I had to repeat each workout 2 or 3 times at the beginning - but it pushes you just enough that you don't quite break. I like that it does it by time, not distance, too, so "bad runners" like me can still succeed in the beginning.

This app is a great tool on my fitness journey. I liked it enough to purchase the full version. Since, 9 times out of 10, when I try to get into the app to start my run, it doesn't recognize that I've bought the full version or my progress, and brings me back the trial version. I have to exit out, close the tab, and start again. I am extremely frustrated, and when I get a new phone, unless they fix it I won't be purchasing it again or recommending to friends. For $4.99 this shouldn't happen.

I really like this app for leaning to run. I don't pass each milestone on the first try, but I keep going back. I like the little coach saying "you're doing it!" or advising of the half way point. Sounds corny but it really is motivating. I paid for the full version, and I'm really enjoying it. An improvement would be if I could enter my treadmill speeds on each interval change after my work out. I use this exclusively on the treadmill.

Have done this a few times now (each time slacking off after I've completed it and having to start again!). It builds up at a comfortable pace whilst still challenging you and I really love that I can have my music playing at the same time with the voice speaking over it. Other apps I've used make me use their music supplier. Love it!

This app helped me go from barely being able to run for a series of 1 minute stretches all the way to running for 10 minutes straight (and I'm not done). After 2 weeks, it will charge you $3 to go farther along in the training, but I found the price worth it to get into shape. You can also keep redoing runs if you feel like it's getting too difficult. You can play music while using the app (or atleast music from Spotify). My only gripe is that the voice is annoying, but it's easy to ignore.

Very good app for someone getting into running. It's mostly interval training, with the app telling you when to walk and run. It builds up to longer running intervals with shorter rest periods, all the way to a 35 minute long run with no breaks. This is great for people training for endurance running or just looking to get fit. You only have access to a few running programs at the start, but it's supper cheap to upgrade to premium and get all the runs. Excellent app that I highly recommend.

It started off really well (hence 3 stars) but the last three runs in a row its crashed out on me in the middle of a run so I've had no idea how long I've been running for. Last time I restarted twice during the run and it crashed again. I've not done anything different - same headphones and same Spotify usage. No other apps open. Disappointing.

I downloaded the free version of this app. Today was my first day and the adds have already driven my crazy to the point of unistalling it. This app is designed in a way that you cannot exit without opening an ad, which will then take you to the promotion page of the 5k runner to force you into getting the paid version. As you can imagine, it was very inconvenient and distracting to have to go through all that just to navigate to my media player to change the music while running.

Very easy to follow. Theres a voice that tells you when to walk and when to run (can be turned off if you prefer that). You can pause the running sessions if you need a break and redo sessions if you feel like you need more time before moving on to harder ones. The app can measure distance and how many calories you burnt, which is always interesting to know imo. The full program is very affordable.

Great for training but crashes a lot. If this app didn't stop in the background so often (right in the middle of runs), it would be the perfect training tool. I start the app, go training but if the app stops halfway through a 5 minute run, I have no idea when to stop... Then I have to start all over. If they can fix this, it will be the ideal running trainer.
