Training regimen is excellent! Love that I can repeat workouts without losing record of my previous efforts.
Loving this app so far! It's taken a while to find an app that gradually increased mileage each week in a reasonable way and included things like speed work, not just the same steady run each time. It helps keeps runs more interesting. Sad it only goes to 10k, I'd love if it had options for longer distances!
Great little app for pushing yourself a bit harder. When you start a run, the app doesn't constantly keep chatting to you, which I prefer. However, knocked one star off as it doesn't explain what a tempo run is, or what sort of pace you should be going, which would have been handy. All in all though, very happy with it.
Measures distance and prompts without glitch. Good job lots of features not yet explored.
Excellent. Using this after couch to 5k programme. Manageable and helps you progress gradually. Good structure to the programme with tempo runs and recovery runs. GPS has worked fine with me on my Samsung A52 phone The trainer's voices are not the best but does the job of indicating what you need to do next. Music integration is ok but I just play BBC sounds or Spotify at the same time with no problems.
Not good anymore. It was great at first. Now it is glitchy. The GPS doesnt work anymore so it doesn't measure the distance or my pace. So it's kind of useless now. It used to work but hasn't worked for my last few runs and my data has been working fine so it has to do with the app. Even more disappointing is that it didn't record my longest run.
Not bad overall but a few issues and it is glitchy. In app music player won't let you create playlists...crashes every time I try to add a song. Luckily it will play existing playlists developers should make this clearer. Voice coach is very limited, could do with more encouragement.
This and the Cto5K app have changed my life. Both apps do a great job of bringing you up to speed in a manner that feels natural. I typically repeat each day to see if I can improve upon myself. Overall, I could not recommend this app (and Cto5K) more if you are looking to take on the daunting task of starting from zero to 10K.
It was working well until the update on 14th Sept. I've done 4 runs since then and all of them GPS hasn't worked and the audio has become glitchy, pausing and skipping bits which messes up the run cues, particularly for intervals.
Everything that the other negative comments say is true. Given that some of those comments were more than a year old, I thought those issues would have been fixed by now, and so I gave it a go. Can't believe how the app developers still haven't fixed basic issues like the app not doing anything if the GPS is on. You only realise when you're well into your run and haven't heard any prompts from the app that something's wrong, and sure enough, the app's not doing anything! Uninstalled.
Best running plan I've used ever. Great mix of long and short runs, with intervals to help with speed. Cannot recommend this app more, I have tried many and keep coming back to this one.
I have tried using this app for a run twice now. If I don't lock the screen it skips parts of the run before I have barely even started. If I do lock the screen, the app terminates mid-run. Useless!
Loving it! Did Couch to 5k last year, now on week 8 of this 5k to 10k app. Didn't have any issues, everything's working perfectly well. I usually have Strava on at the same time, or using my Fitbit, so I can see how much I ran (without the warm up and cool down walks). Also always listening to either Spotify or a Podcast app while running. Only critique point I can think of is I'm missing the Runicorn Trainer from Couch to 5k! 🦄✨
Simply, doesn't record your runs correctly. I tried on three separate occasions and it was showing a mile ran for the 5k I'd actually ran each time, oh, it did get the length of time ran correct.
Great app, but terminates for no known reason, randomly. The Couch to 5K version is great, and this one is nearly great, but terminating for no reason is a huge problem for a running app. Sorry guys!
I liked the 5k version and finished that. Started the 10k version. I find that one of the paces used is not described. They describe steady, tempo and fast but they do not say how fast 'jog' pace is. Would appreciate it if this was clarified here.
love the halfway prompt that keeps me from slowing down and looking at my phone. I also love how the peompts are very clear...my interval timer is barely aidible over my music...cant miss these!
Has a few bugs, I have to leave the app on the main screen and use the in app lock before locking my phone for a run, and pin the app so it can't close, aside from that it's flawless.
I really like the app it allows you to repeat runs, so you can do the same run as often as you like. It is fully downloaded, so no going on to podcast to find it everything, Downside it doesn't have music although you can load your own onto the app.
