This is one of the greatest apps for independent workers who enjoy helping customers fix the issue and find a light at the end of the tunnel. It can become extremely personal one-on-one contact with that Customer because you can always contact them back to make sure their issue is resolved. And when you make on average 30.00 an hour of work not really great. Not to mention the employees of 6ya make us, though not employed with the company, feel like we are.
Very nice and Handy and accurate advice I'd advise if you have any pets you get this app immediately and for a small cheesy price for a monthly payment you can get the unlimited access to advice from any experts at your fingertips!!!!!!!! My advice is get this app or you'll be sorry!!!!!!!
So far this app has came in REAL handy and the guys have been great at being patient with me and explaining. (Being as I am a female & according to the world I'm not supposed to be able to work on my own car and all 🤷) I would definitely recommend this app to everyone, you really never know when you'll need it.
So far my experience on this app has been great! This really works as an expert if you put in the time and read their manual.
Very informative and polite with patience to listen to all my problems. Help me relax from the stress that all of this has given me so that's a big plus and working on fixing issue now thank you
My experience was great. This app is s so you just can't download it. You have to ask for help. I don't have any issues now except I want to cancel my membership before the 7 days. I can't afford a yearly membership.
Scam! They charged me but never answered any questions. When I tried to ask again, they insisted I'd have to pay 149 dollars first. Not a typo. I then tried to contact support. The said they would get back to me in 5 days. What an absolute scam!

One of the best customer service lady I've ever came across to speak n helped me through getting into my cash app account. Helpful n very patience with me while I was figuring it out on my end n my internet was hella slow
Scetchy at first and a little skeptical but they only took out 2 cents for verification and gave me legitimate advice on what's wrong with my car
Needed some help with a boiler (actually just a confirmation of the solution since i had an idea of what to do). So i used this app and choose to have a video conference. The technican was great!! Walked me through all the steps I had already done and confirmed how to get the boiler going again. Was really happy i had this app as a reference guide. I had a great experience.
I needed help with an auto issue on Christmas and I received a call within a minute! I just downloaded the app and I didn't even realize all the other features I had access to! I'm really happy with this app!!! Please allow link sharing so I can share this with everyone!!!!
I talked with a technician who was not familiar with my (very common) home security system. He was obviously guessing in trying to help me with the debug. When he suggested that I ground my DC circuits on the AC circuit, I told him that I wanted to speak to someone with experience with my system. He said that would be no problem and that I would not be charged a second time when I spoke to a second technician. When I spoke to the second technician, I asked him upfront if he had experience with my system. He said he did not. So as not to waste either of our time, I said we should close the call. He agreed. So not only did I waste my time and not get any help at all, I soon discovered that I had indeed authorized a DOUBLE CHARGED for the non-service. How in the world do these guys stay in business??? Finally, I tried to submit a request for help on my phone, but kept getting a CAPTCHA fail. How could that be when I was never given a CAPTCHA to respond to? Very frustrating!
This app sucks it's a scam and a rip off!!!!! Don't waste your time or effort with it nothing works on it all they want to do is get your credit card information and leave you hanging you can't get a hold of nobody you can't talk to nobody you can't even find a number that cancel your subscription.
My rating used to be a 5, but I've encountered a number of bugs that have made me stop using the app. I enjoy being an expert and fixing things, but strange bugs are making my missed call percentage drop badly. Sometimes support answers my emails and sometimes they don't. It's become more stressful than beneficial.
Edit: I am using wifi with 400mbps speed. I had a really good experience talking to experts. In my case i spoke with electricians when rewiring light switches around the house. Thats where the 3 stars come from. The app on the other hand is terrible. Its almost impossible to use the video call. The only way i can use the service is through a phone call. thankfully i know enough terminology for a smooth transaction.
absolutely amazing best 9 bucks ever spent!! i highly recommend our tech was absolutely flipping amazing!! saved us a fortune and in minutes got our furnace going and explained so wonderfully and not condescending etc i saw so many bad reviews but was desperate and im so so so glad i did!!!! try it 9 bucks was totally worth it!!! and love being able to add a tip if i coukd have tipped more i would have!!
I an expert and i am recieving text messages from customers not sure why but i had to shut my availability off until i figure it out. Also sometime my history does not show in the app but other than these two i am loving the job and i am especially excited to hear what my customers think of my service. Thanks for the oppurtunity to help others with my tech experience.
I am really thankful for this app and service! I have saved tons of time and money using this! I've just used this app to fix why my car won't start. -A lot of people leaving bad reviews on here seems to be user error. At first I wasn't receiving the calls. That's because my phone auto blocks certain numbers. I had to manually enter in to allow their number they call from. - people check whether you're choosing yearly or monthly subscription! - try more than 1 expert if needed.
Not worth the subscription. "Experts" are very good at saying "since I'm not there and can't see it..." Obviously, and that's not the point. If you can't troubleshoot remotely, don't be a tech on this service. Also, follow-up when you say you will. Don't ghost the customer.
These folks are the real deal! The only reason I gave them a 4 instead of a 5 is that if you use the app and get help they automatically enroll you in a subscription plan. Which I felt wasn't too cool. Buy their experts are very much the real deal. I believe they are somehow related to justanswer which is another outfit with real experts but I could be wrong. Not much more to say other than that if you really really need an answer these folks will work their butts off to help you!
Your expert knew what he was doing but when we tried them they didn't work. A couple small things were fixed but when it came to the bigger problems we spent a good long time on them and he agreed with me to call my carrier. He and I felt they coild help both problems as well as address another small problems. I haven't contacted my carrier as yet.
My ratings are down. Please fix. Although the app works better after uninstall and reinstall, the calls ring for a second and I am unable to return a call. This is bringing my accept call rating. The ring needs to last long enough to pick up the call.

I am not sure what is the purpose of this app when it lacks several features. First amd the foremost is that it does not support my phone number. What sort of the error is that? I can use the same phone number on the online account of 6ya and get connected to experts but not through this app. I would rather use thumbtack, home advisor, you tube etc than this stupid start-up which lacks vision and use to the consumer. Complete waste of money.....
Expert went above and beyond helping diagnose the electrical problem I was having with my headlights. I never expected to find the battery under the backseat. Quick, Professional and a great mechanic. Thanks again.
Update 3: It's been a few months and I'm trying this again. At the end of my workday, I set my account to unavailable but, could not stop 6ya from sending me calls. UPDATE 2: My friend did 6ya while unemployed and was able to cover all of his bills. I'm also trying this while unemployed. UPDATE 1: I have a real job, now, and don't need this, any more. Due to the customer service, I'd be willing try again if I'm ever unemployed! I, however, I couldn't stop the calls from coming in 24/7. Eventually, the 6ya media team reached out to me. INITIAL REVIEW: After uninstalling the app last night, I've received 41 calls (I'll keep updating this number as it goes up). I've since blocked the 6ya number so that I could get sleep.
Recently got approved for a debt consolidation loan, and I easily make my payments with this side gig. It's so nice to be able to log on and off at your convenience. I love that I found this app!
