The 30-day challenge desperately needs autoplay: why do we have to press play to progress to the next exercise?! That totally breaks the flow. Also, it would be great to be able to assemble custom workouts out of existing exercises, and add your own exercises with instructions: I like Classic but can't do push-ups so have to substitute for another exercise, at the moment I have to remember to just do something else instead but it'd be great to have a prompt.
One of my favourite fitness apps. It's simple and a great way to ramp up your workout. Love the way it prompts you for what's next and the timer. Would like to see more basic routines and stretches though and for a separate way to set times for workouts vs stretches. Integration with Samsung Health would be really helpful. Also it has not been updated since August 2018.
Easy to use and intuitive interface. Clean with not a lot of intrusive add, however I always recommend getting pro or full version of any application for best experience. Money well spent. Has a variety of training plans and challenges to keep you morivated. All exercises have an animation so you can do them properly, however if the animations themselves are a bit more detailed would benefit the whole experience. Built-in notifications to remind you to workout more at a specific set time.
Super, super, super!!! My life is crazy busy and I can't justify spending an hour a day working out. Not to mention travel time. I've seen incredible results in only 2 weeks, even definition already + weight drop. Only request is that I wish they had a 7 min stetch for legs and a different one for upper body and back. Stetching is so important. Buy the Pro version before you invest time in the free version, for your history doesn't transfer over when you upgrade. So worth the $2.99!!!
Seems to be abandoned by the developer... I've been using the free version since 2016 and I have more than 1,500 workouts registered, recently the data backup sync stopped working and I decided to upgrade to the pro version only to find out that the data is not shared between the two apps and now I can't use the pro version since I'm not willing to lose all my info. The issue when syncing is that the app requires one one more google play services that are not available.
Makes working out easy and accessible. I'm not a meathead or trying to bulk up or lose 20 pounds, I just want to stay fit, especially in a balanced way. When I google workouts I'm always worried they're unbalanced since they may be one section of a larger practice. With this app I just do one overall body workout then one area workout (arms, core, legs). Easy. I also like the multi language support. It helps me learn Mandarin and Japanese in a context outside a regular learning sphere.
Single exercises have good info pages with a good explanation and a video link. I like the idea that you can customize the exercise time and time between. I would like to see some back related moves and maybe some stretching too. I would also like to make and save my own exercise lists, at least one.
The "PRO" version is less useful than the free and supported one. The free version gives advice on each exercise to make it easier or harder. Also the free version connected to Google Fit and backs up to Drive. The PRO is not connecting. I have reverted to the free version.
Great app that has lead to a noticable improbement in my flexibility, strength and fitness. It works on core muscels so is useful for everyone. The workout time is short, so easy to fit in a busy schedule, but can be adjusted. it has links to YouTube videos thet show how to do the exercises correctly. As well as full body work out, there are also workouts for specific muscle groups. Great app, i use regularly as part of my weekly workout regime.
Disappointing. I bought the pro version after trying the normal version and liking it. But he pro version does not allow you to use it in landscape. I use this app on my tablet which has a holder that needs it to be used landscape. The plain version has the ability to display in landscape so it seems this version has gone backwards which is a shame. Other than that, it's a great app.
Buying the AD free version is actually worth it. I can spare the time, although you might see better results with longer durations. The cost is fair and I just hate advertisements. UI is not too complex and is simple to navigate. Do the exercises every alternate day for the next 2-3 months before joining a gym. It will give you the strength and endurance to cope with harsher workouts.
After a half year of using the free version, I've paid for this one. Total disappointment: it doesn't sync with its free version, (didn't migrate my preferences and history), it doesn't allow to sync with Google fit (though the free version does). Asked for a refund after the first use.
Great app, easy to use and no frills. The only problem is that it doesn't sync to Google Fit, so all my data doesn't get stored if I change phones. Still waiting for the developer to respond to my email and feedback, but it's been over a week already...
DONT PURCHASE THIS APP. I purchased this app to upgrade from the free app with ads. This app does not work, the sync with Google fit is broken, there are no additional workouts, and it freezes. Google won't return my money and the developer won't answer their email. Thankfully it was only $3, but I was ripped off.
This "pro" version hasn't been updated since 2018 while the standard version gets regular updates. We paid to remove ads but updates were removed as well. The small selection of workouts have been the same since 2018. If money is the issue (it is) a good system would be to release more workout programs regularly for like $5 a pop alongside basic improvements like UI updates etc. Once my body got used to the workouts which it did after 2 months, I stopped seeing results and had to move on.
The different exercises in the 30 day challenge really keep me motivated. My only issue is that it won't sync to Google Health; I get an error message saying to contact the developers. Would love if this was fixed! Edit: changing my review as other reviews mention they abandoned this app in 2018. :( oh well
Free app won't sync with Google Fit. I'm hesitant to buy the pro to remove ads if it will not sync. I do like the body weight exercises and examples given. This is a wonderful alternative to using gym equipment. I add a weight vest and dumbbells to supplement some exercises.
Used to be better... It's still a good workout app but it has stopped syncing with Google Fit (the fact that it previously did was why I chose this app). Also it would be good to be able to sub in other exercises if injuries are an issue (example: I can't lunge because of a dodgy knee. Would be good to be able to sub it something else. I do this anyway but the app doesn't log what I'm doing).
Been using this app for years, but it seems to have been abandoned (last update 2018) in favor of the newer versions (several similar apps by same developer). I prefer the simple UI of the originals, but unfortunately Google Fit sync is broken now. Time for a mandatory migration or to find a new developer.
I've been using this app for around 7 years since I read about it in NY Times. Usually just 2 sets of the classic, but sometimes the challenges. So simple and effective. Free version is great, but I finally upgraded to paid version without ads recently and it's worth the small $.
Liked the app, bought paid version to use. The only Problem so far, it gets stuck on some exercises, with the timer just keeps going. Like right now for me it's stuck on squats without a pause or change to a new exercise PS can somebody call the developer please? I am getting short of breath.
This app must be made for midgets or something. At 5'8", it puts my healthy weight between 122 and 164 pounds. Every other weight metrics systems put my healthy weight at between 165 and 200. Other than that, it's a pretty fun app to use.
Not sure why I paid for it to get rid of the ads. Nothing else works. Can't sync to Google fit as advertised, can't back up data.... Etc! Looks like developer is non respondent. Having said all that, I really like the app despite.
I wish it ran when the app is minimized. It used to- you could open a new app and the voice commands for each exercise would still go at the same pace. I wish it would go back to that. If and when that's fixed, it's 5 stars from me!
Brilliant App. Super easy. It is surprising how effective this is. Only few minutes but you can actually feel the body getting a good workout. You can choose from different difficulty levels and reps. Highly recommended. t
The good stuff: - simple and easy to use - allows you to change exercise times and breaks The bad: - for some reason stops frequently when starting an exercise What can be improved: - make videos of the exercises consistent and of maximum 1 minute. Currently each video is different and has duration ranging from 1 to 7 minutes.
Company abandoned the pro app after customers paid for it. All connectivity now broken. Stay away. -- Workouts and options to customize the workouts are still good. Deducting stars because it won't sync to google drive or google fit on my pixel 4a. No updates to paid version since 2018, but free version continues to be updated in 2020?
The app is very useful, but the app is missing some key functions. I can't sync with Google Fit any more, and I can't sync my data to the cloud. The newer version (separate app) does sync with Google Fit, but it has ads, and when you tap "remove ads" it suggests you use the pro version. I'd even be open to paying AGAIN to remove ads from the new version (which I really shouldn't have to do, because I already paid for the pro version), but that's not possible. There's no way to sync and avoid ads
