App needs a better interface. While loading the videos gallery will not show or load more than one page. For example it shows i have 143 clips and will load only 25 on the first page the rest wont load . I have to take out the SD card in order to view them. Small glitches should be tested based on user feedback. I hope they improve it because I wanted to order few more for my other cars.
Please make a setting where I can turn off that awful freakin voice!! I can do the audio cues on or off but the voice needs to shut up!! Im literally about to take it apart and tear out the speaker
Absolute Garbage!!! I bought a smart camera on Amazon and can't get it up because the app is telling me I'm inputting the wrong code when I am not. Unbelievable!
Please fix the firmware on the a800s camera so it uses the full sdcard, currently half of my 256gb sdcard isn't being used because space is reserved for emergency video. Please allow adjustable space for emergency video.
Works as described. You just have to log into the device like you would your wifi at home to connect to the equipment. I had no problem. I formatted the card first and followed the instructions to the letter during the set up. I even did the voice command to take a picture successfully.
after I'm unable to connect to my camera, the app is asking me to login, but it keeps on saying I need to put a valid email, but it is my valid email that I put on the login
Have Samsung smart ph. Unable to connect thr camera to 70Mai app. Tried all methods - reset, reinstall app, shut dwn n reboot, rescan using Bluetooth, use another ph, etc. Cannot detect the camera by 70mai. It's a junk app.
No security code, can't log in. Can't find the security code. Can't use the app. Can't sign up.
I have 70mia rearview mirror wide. I was able to easily download, install, sign up/in and connect to my device. The app brings the identical device settings menu to my phone. I can also live view, file view and file download to phone. Can also take/manage photos snapshots. I don't think I have the routing history function available for my device but that would a nice idea in a future software update😉.
Limitations, and a lot. First of all, it doesn't store a lot of videos. No idea what determines how many videos it can store. It erases old videos even if you throw in a big MicroSD card in it. And, there is no setting for miles vs km and no way to disable GPS coordinates. No way to record scenic routes as it overwrites same day videos if you are driving long distances. There is potential but the developers are no genius! They could not think outside the box.
App is up to date, i can't log in..reset, re install, nothing. Downloaded videos from memory card to pc, no audio. Need help to fix this issue.
Very inconvenient to use. Every time I want to use this, I have to log in to 7mai server (which requires internet connection), then have to connect to the dashcam's wifi in order to access the file inside. So no internet, no connection to my local dashcam. Also, unless I enable GPS of the phone, I cannot connect. Just have no idea why all these were required when the recorded video doesn't even include any GPS info. It feels like just data collection.
On 70mai dash cam pro, app has location permission, hotspot active, phone wifi connected to it, data off. Does not detect or update or do anything. Unable to add device I just bought so this is useless with no feedback or find/connect button when trying to add/find device the screen has no updates just says go back to this app after wifi is setup, no other suggestions or way to troubleshoot and move forward.
I don't know about this app but I love the Midrive DO2. Saved me over $5000.00. But here is my mistake. I updated the firmware to the current 1.9 and it is big mess. Lane change is dead. The 1.5 firmware is up there. Way better than this so called update. Please, do another firmware update. Also, if you can, make the speed limit and GPS coordinates displayed on recordings optional. Thank you.
App doesn't work after last update.
I have read feedbacks on the app and i don't really do feedbacks, but i must say. I Had connected with ease, NO CRASH, had acccess all the videos through the app, was able to configure and view the camera on real time. I had installed 2 one in front and rear, and both had no issue, i was skeptical at first to use the app since all i saw is negative feedbacks, maybe the dashcam they acquired are counterfit? Cause no issues on my end with two products on hand.
The app does not stay connected. So if you shut your car off and run into a store and come back, you have to start the app, wait for it to connect to wifi all over again... This is not going to work for most people. Honestly they should have used a bluetooth connection instead.
This Update is very bad and is too slow to open and take too much time and I unistall it and install previous version from apk mirror
The app works fine for me simple enough to use and understand. Setup did not have any issues.
The app froze everytime when connecting to my phone. I have a note 9 android pie. Update: to solve this issue, you need to turn off data from your phone before connecting to the cam. I'm updating from 1 star to 2 stars because I never got support from 70mai which is really disappointing. I had to figure out this myself. Edit: 1 Star due to no costumer servive.
Needs a lot of fixing. So far I do not like the fact that Wi-Fi connection does not stay connected to the phone app. I feel like once we connect our device to this app. we should be able to latch on to it and not have to reconnect it. only had this device for a day and that's the one thing that seems to get on my nerves. I every time I open the app I shouldn't have to reconnect my device to the app...
DO NOT GET THIS!! sounds like they need to do a lot of work before they go trying to sell stuff that you can't even register with there is a lot of issues with people having problems with registering their emails. I'm sending mine back and getting something better I would suggest anybody else who has one to do the same
App forces you to log in before connecting with your camera. It is impossible to login because system is broken (it will not send the activation code to my email). So the app is useless. Not sure why you can't just connect the app to the camera, why it's necessary to force login to the system in order to use it. But if you do require users to login, that's okay, as long as the system is maintained properly. I haven't been able to login using my email and password for quite some time; I've only been able to use the facebook login. Now that doesn't work either.
Camera connected but no internet. I actually did get the camera and phone to connect one time. When I was connected I was able to see practice video and a few practice pictures that I took. It all looked pretty good. I know I would be satisfied with this camera but you can't get access to it. I sent an email with my issue. If they don't get back to me quickly, I'll just have to return it. I don't want to but otherwise it'll be useless.
I can't find any of my videos. Must be next to the cam to see anything. Can't exit the page to look for footage or else the app disconnects from the device's wifi. It's a pain in the ass to reconnect and start all over. Total headache!
It signs you out often, can't download any pics or video, often won't work unless you're connected to the internet. It is not worth the aggervation. Don't get this dash cam. It doesn't work with out the app and only works occasionally with the app. Can not be relyed on.
Works with Note 5. English prompt to the camera "take picture" works most of the time, "take video" just doesn't seem to work at all. If something happens, I just note the time and then find the video
Blue tooth is connected but unable to contact to the app. However by scanning the QR CODE generated by the app using Manuel setting I manage to connect the app and the dash am finally. That means I have to do that each time to check footage... Suck!
I wish I'd never bought this dash cam. I've been able to connect to it exactly 1 time in the 8+ months since i bought it. That 1 time was a few days after i bought and installed it. I've never been able to watch anything it's recorded. Never. If you're seeing this review before buying this camera, I heartily recommend you to spend your money on something else. Anything else.
Wow! The most horrific, non intuitive, unfriendly app I have ever seen. The dash cam I bought is very nice, but this app used to control it is so very frustrating to use. Takes at least 10 minutes to perform the process of disconnecting from your home wifi and connecting to the dash cams Hotspot. And this needs to be done EVERY TIME you start your car. Absurd.....
