7shifts Employee Scheduling

Very bad interface. When I am shown the day? I should automatically see the whole schedule, not just me. Also to many notifications. The only thing I need to be told is my schedule and if a manager direct messages me. Plus there should be direct contact info under all names. In an emergency I can't use this feature to message and expect it to be seen. Phones still have a call feature for a reason.

This is the absolute worst app I have ever used. I wish my employer hadn't switched to this. I would delete the app, but since it won't sync with Google calender I would never know when I'm scheduled. The app tells you that you have to go into your Google calendar to manually add it. I have to do this every week, and half the time that doesn't even work. If my boss adjusts the schedule, I have to once again go in and add the new url. I would not recommend this product to anyone.

Easy to use and integrates well with our POS (Toast). We love the app, which allows us to communicate with our team easily and handle time off and shift swaps. Also, support has been a DREAM. They are the most responsive out of all of our vendors, and if they don't have a solution or capability, they log it as a 'want' for future functionality. We are extremely pleased with the product!!

Pretty good just some bugs. For some reason I'm not getting any notifications from the app and it's made me miss possible shifts up for grabs and messages in the restaurant group chat about important changes. My co worker is also having this issue. I have notifications turned on in the app and in my phone settings so I don't know what's going on.

Every time I update 7shifts when there's a new update, something else goes wrong. Latest update on Android now has missing people in time clocking. So it looks like they aren't clocked it, but on apple phones, they show.

7 shifts is a good app when I can get into it...I keep having to install then uninstall over over to get into it one time and then repeat that process all over again

Would give it barely a 4 star, the app for some reason tells you have a shift starting soon 1 hr after your shift starts and keeps crashing saying can't connect to the internet even when I'm on wifi trying to make schedule

I really like this app but the new update has really screwed us over. The app doesn't allow employees to see who else works that day. As a manager I can see everyone's schedule but I cant see the employees schedule that I added to 7 shifts after the update. I have to go to the website which is inconvenient. I also can not update someone's email. Its completely blocked off so I'm going to have to delete that employee and create another account.

Literally every single company should use this. It's so efficient, it takes so much off of the managers, and it makes it easy to work as a team. I absolutely love it.

The employee version of the app is ok. The management side is messier. There was an update recently that took away the calendar function of choosing a date on the overview screen. It is annoying. Make the app better not worse. Please.

Would be nice but super glitchy. For some reason the time clocking has stopped working on the app and now I have to go to a computer to do it which is a bit inconvenient. The hours are also glitching on the app.

Great application clearly geared towards service industry style staff and schedule management. Incredibly easy and user friendly to approach, yet provides you with a vast amount of advanced features and tools for creating and managing the schedule, and also interacting and controlling individual employee schedule, availability, time off, and time clocking functions. 5 SEC SUMMARY: •FANTASTIC • BETTER THEN HOT SCHEDULES

I frequently don't receive important notifications, in spite of turning on all notifications in app settings and phone settings. It seems frequent updates are required for app to function properly.

Was great but recently it shows an error everytime I try to check the shifts for notes and shift trades that need to be approved aren't actually showing and an error pops up. Very frustrating.

The app kicks you out randomly then there is always an error loading your account if you try to resign in.. The time sheet isn't organized well at all, I get last minute notifications for stuff. It would be nice to see when I clocked out for a break while on a break (like other apps) and not after my whole shift is over. Old messages from people who no longer have an account aren't deletable either.

Lots of issues lately. Wasn't able to correct time punches. Took forever for the issue to be fixed. Now I can't add time punches. Very frustrating.

Inconsistent. Constantly logs you out and says you don't have a connection when you do. Also will sit at a load screen for long intervals

It's a pretty clean app, I like the fact that you can sync your shifts onto Google Cal. One gripe I have with that though, is the messy way it adds them. I don't need to see the comments, time, or my own name in the title when I'm syncing solely my own shifts. Past that, it's got a lot of great features and makes me so happy to not have to manually copy down shifts or fish out a picture of everyone's schedule.

This is an excellent app that my company has been using for some time. Lately I have run into a minor issue where I'm unable to contact certain individuals through the app's chat feature, however, when they message me first it opens up a new chat and we are able to correspond. I hope this is fixed soon, it is an odd bug and has caused some inconvenience lately. Otherwise, I really like the design and functionality of the app.

I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, and my work uses this app. It used to work fine, but now the notifications turn off on their own, and while there are shifts in the shift pool, none show up on the dashboard. This is really aggravating because my work requires us to stay on top of shifts and notifications but I'm not getting notified. Other coworkers with Android devices mentioned similar problems as well.

Edit: the devs fixed the issue in less than 24 hours. Excellent service! Having an issue with the shift pool in the app. On the main page where it shows "shifts up for grab" nothing ever populates there, it just says "no shifts available in the shift pool." However, when i go to the "more" tab and click on shift pool, there are shifts here. Can someone look into this? Version 3.9.2.2, Samsung Galaxy S9+

It's gotten worse. Not sure why, but the drop-down to change an assignment snaps back before you can select anything. The notes on availability are so large they block dropping a shift on someone and can't be clicked through. Making rearranging for time off requests a game of operation to find the one spot I can drop the shift. The header/footer are so big that I see more of them on a 15" laptop than I do of the schedule I'm trying to work on. Overall 7shifts is backsliding from 3 years ago.

When I first downloaded it at the end of October it worked good. But all of a sudden and for the past 2 weeks it never stops the loading/refreshing on any tab or screen I go to. I can still see my info in the background while it continues to have the moving circle loading. If I click on the stuff in the background it will take me to the info and then stops loading and refreshing. I have uninstalled the app 3 times to try and fix. Doesnt do anything.
