Like many others' experience, I was unable to receive the verification code to finish creating my account despite multiple tries and reinstalling the app. I also see how choosing the birth year is not intuitive and so needs to be improved. Please developer look into these basic issues. Edit: Finally received the verification codes. But the long delay was still annoying. Also needed is a log in option in the menu.

Love racking up points and getting free treats! I wish there was a way to enter receipts after purchase though. I've forgotten to scan a few times and missed out on points. For everyone trying to enter your birthday: click on the year! It'll give you a scrolling menu where you can select your birth year! User interface can probably be improved by making that more clear (add a little down arrow button next to year).

I was unable to register as I didn't receive a verification code as others have experienced. So I sent an email to the company and very quickly the sent a code and now I am all set. They even offered to apply points from previous purchases!! Definitely reach out to them by email if you are experiencing issues. Great customer service!!!

Update: Downgraded it to 1 star from 2 stars. They won't even credit my first purchase using the app. I appealed using their online form and uploading a picture of the receipt. Their reply is to ask me to send them a picture of the receipt again. I've already thrown away the receipt. You can keep your 4 points! ---------- Very buggy app. Menu section is empty. Locations section's scrolling spazes out and not in correct alphabetical order. Rewards and status program has confusing expiration.

Same as some, never could get a verification text sent. Yes, went through all the steps, including clicking on the 'still not working' link Problem with certain carriers? Even changed incoming text settings, still not working. I have Tmobile. Tried even uninstall/reinstall, still can't register. Makes for a useless app.

You can't place an online order which is probably the main reason most people download this app. They hardly have any breads listed in the options, and the app is not user friendly at all. I would think for a bakery with many locations across different states their app would be more refined and less clunky. It's probably the worst food service app I've ever used. So much potential, terrible execution.

In short: Poor UI and incomplete menu. Aside from the bugs with online ordering as mentioned by other users, why does the menu not show all the options? As someone with allergies to specific ingredients, whenever someone buys me pastries or bread from 85, I need to double check the ingredients list to see if it contains my allergen. But the majority of the pastries and breads I've seen lately aren't even listed as options. This app has a LOT of potential, it's a shame it's so poorly optimized.

Good attempt ... 1) can't order online, 2) it doesn't show the full menu, you have to know which category of drinks you want rather than being able to see the full menu item by item, 3) doesn't tell you how you earn points (i.e. 1 point per dollar spent or what?), 4) doesn't show how many points needed to redeem in store menu items. I'm not sure this app serves any purpose outside of "collecting points" .. even though there seems to be apparent issues with redeeming points per the other users

App will not accept my password. When I click on 'Forgot Password' link, it requires my phone number. I input the number, I get the message 'Password has been sent, you can log in with this new password', yet I never receive the new password, by phone or by email, no matter how many times I repeat this. And inputting your number at the store only allows for points to be added, you cannot use rewards without the app bar codes. So redeeming rewards is impossible.

Never had an issue. As far as I can tell you can't order through the app yet, it's good for points and deals. Nih Luu there is a way to enter points with receipts after your purchase. You need the app. Secone thumbnail on main screen takes you to a website to redeem forgotten orders.

Great app! I love going to 85°C! The pastries and drinks are always so good. I love that the app gives a description of each pastry and ingredients AND calories. An awesome feature that I'd like to see is to be able to retroactively receive points from scanning the receipt.

this app is pretty cool it offers a lot of cool deals and when you first get it you can get a free drink. also you get a point for every dollar you spend which adds up quick and you can buy things with you're points. It's simple and easy to use and not overloaded with ads.

When creating an account via app, the birthdate defaults to January 1st, 1900. You cannot manually change this easily. You're forced to repeatedly tap on the "Next" arrow to shift to the next month. This method is beyond time consuming and not worth the effort. I demand this to be changed for ease of use.

A note to all the tappers! You can tap on the year in the top left of the birthday selection pop-up to change the year! App needs work. Pictures are squished when side panels come out and text is not sized correctly.

Signed up today through the app. The birthday entry started at 1/1/1900 and would have taken forever to scroll through the calendar to select the correct date. Tried to fix after signing up, but app directs you to contact customer service. Not a good user experience.

I have been trying to enroll for the last 4 days but the company never sends me the verification code. I have checked email and text message and nothing. I finally went into the store and they provided an email to send about the issue. Mind you an email not a phone. Sent email to customer service and it came back undeliverable. I would be great to use since I am in there purchasing coffee and pastries but not able to go past the registration process. I have an android.

Tried multiple times to try to verify my phone number, but a text isn't sent ever. I've triple checked my phone number is accurate, I've given the app approval to send messages from my settings, I've emailed for help, I've texted for help, but no response at all.

Horrible app! The password reset doesn't work. I tried to sign up and it states account was already in work. Then I clicked "forgot password" and I entered my number but nothing was ever sent. Waiting to hear back from customer service email.

Password reset does not work. When I enter the registered mobile number, it says the temp password has been sent but I don't receive anything. Then when I try to sign up as a new member with my mobile number it says it's already in use. There's no tech support to contact so I'm basically SOL. I gave it a two stars because at the time the app was working I had no issues until now.

I keep trying to sign up thr last 3 times i went to 85° but the app does not send me a text therefore I miss out on points. I press resend to get the verifying code but I never received it. I'm not going back to 85° until the app works and I'm able to sign up.

When you try to sign up im the app and try to inout your birthday, it pops up a calendar and it start in the year 1901, and theres no way to input manually or fast scroll through the year. So you kind of have to swipe about 1000 times (by months).

Where's the points for online ordering? I've placed several orders using that feature and I don't know why you don't recieved points for doing so. I know Starbucks and other coffee shops do that so it makes no sense to not have it. Also, why isn't online ordering on the app itself and on a third party provider? It's a pain to use and not everything that's offered at the store is on the menus. That stinks ☹👎

I have been attempting to sign up since they came out with the app, but can't because the verification code is never sent to my phone. I've tried numerous times over the past few months and it's still the same issue. I see alot of others having the same problem. Please fix your app as it has been months and the verification code issue is still a problem. To others that are putting in their bdays, press the year on the left and you should be able to scroll down to your birth year.

Whenever i try to redeem a free item, the torrance store always says they cant honor it because their system is frozen. But when i I later check my points, the free item that they scanned in the app was applied and points were taken off even though I never got my free item. Fix your system Torrance!

I've been trying for several day to complete my registration but it hasn't worked. I've repeatedly attempted to get the verification code and still haven't received it. Also as I've seen someone else state, entering your bday should be fixed to allow manual entry or let you choose you birth year from a list.

I have yet to use the app in the store. However, if you are having complications in signing up for this reward program ( specifically when it comes to date of birth )... Just click on the month. It will give you the option to skip to your desired month. And then when you get to the year... Click directly on the year 1900 ( on the top left corner). After you tap the year, it will give you the option to scroll down and select your proper year of birth. I hope this helps everyone. Toodles!!! (^_^)

ok tried 2 devices neither can verify since i do not get the code. it would be best to send to the email address, since either the application can not send to all carriers, they could be blocked as spam

the app looks clean and functional, I'm excited to use it next time I go. I see other reviews describing a problem with the account set up, just tap on the year and you can select your birth year easily.
