* A vital resource for practising and improving rhythm guitar skills,
* A useful songwriting tool.
Strumming in 8ths is:
* 4 down-strums on the numbered beats
* 4 up-strums on the 'ands': 1 & 2 & 3 & 4 & = down, up, down, up, down, up, down, up.
There are 256 combinations of strums and rests available to you as practice patterns.
You can practice at any tempo from 40 to 200 bpm.
Play along to a click, or one of eight sample guitar chords (or both!).

Wonderfull learning tool! I have the Android version; my daughter has the iOS version, which plays notes. If the app could play a series of notes, it would make for an even better practice tool, but then again, why continue to have humanoid rythm guitar players, eh?
strumming are very good but need more doveloping - scale change function not available, and provide strumming with any general taals, thanks app also good
This app would have been perfect if the personalised strumming patterns would actually save.

In the study of rhythm guitar is essential to learn and practice strumm patterns. This app would be really helpful if patterns could extend on two bars and it would be possible to hear the strings muted sound on rest. These shortcomings limit the effectiveness of the app in studying rhythm guitar. However the graphics are ok and the application is simple to use.

This app plays you a soundtrack matching the pattern and chord. It seems nice enough, though not what I was looking for. Kudos for make it run with 0 extra permissions!! For that I give it an extra star.
Loved it
This is a decent app and useful. However it could be a lot more uaeful if there was a provision to create multiple patternsnd then use them over several bars, with specific patterns.
