8tracks playlist radio

i like 8tracks but this app is extremely broken. when i scroll through playlists when searching it will frequently just send me back to the beginning while i scroll which is super annoying. and when i open a playlist while im searching if i then go back to the search im at the beginning again. these things make looking for new playlists a chore and honestly it makes me want to stop using the app at all. please fix this, thank you.

I love this app/site, I have been using it for years, made multiple playlists. The app does however seem to have quite a few issues. For some reason, it continuously stops playing my music. I cannot get more than 30 seconds into a song without it stopping. When it does stop, I have to go all the way back to the app & start the playlist again, which starts the whole song over again. Very frustrating, I very much like the website, I'd love it if the app could work properly.

I have been a fan of 8tracks for a long time and I really enjoy this app. However, for at least a year now, I have had issues with connection to Bluetooth devices, and now I get a notification sound every time a song ends and every time I press play or pause, and several times if ever a song is buffering. These might all be issues on my end, but this wasnt the case more than a year ago. Otherwise, it's a fantastic app. Will give 5 stars if this is fixed.

I love this app. The music is amazing and the playlists are always perfect. This is the place I go to find the exact music I'm looking for. Unfortunately it never works right with any devices. It doesn't cast to any Google devices and pauses after every song making it practically unusable. If the technical glitches could get sorted out this could be the best music app I've ever used.

I will miss you 8tracks. Sad to see you go. This was my favorite music app. Yes it hit some troubled waters here or there but they did their best to fix things quickly and keep a constant conversation with their users. Hopefully you guys will get another chance to shine. Your music service was so unique compared to all the other big names out there and the uniqueness made you so much better. Being able to group music in collections was my favorite feature.

One of my favorite apps for finding obscure music that I've never heard before. So far I haven't had any audio advertisements interrupting my listening experience. All ads are in pictures or banners. If this app continues advertising silently, I will continue to use it and give it 5 stars and refer everybody in the world! Thank you for not being annoying! My only suggestion is let us have unlimited skips & playbacks for our own customized playlist since this is music that we've added ourselves.

I love 8tracks and I pay for adfree listening, but this app is perpetually broken. On every playlist, on the first or second song, the playlist will quit and exit out of the playlist entirely and if I try to replay the playlist, it'll do the same thing every time. I can't even use the app anymore because of it. Everytime it resets the playlist, it will also disconnect me from any bluetooth connection. It wont let me report this bug, so I can't even get help with it.

This app is the only reason I survived college. It's where you could go for the sounds you didn't know you needed, because there's inevitably someone else who felt the same way and wrote down the remedy. This world of algorithmic soundtracks is a lonely one, and I'll miss the unique feeling of connection 8tracks helped me find. Thank you to all the music literate composers that helped an outsider like me understand what sound could do.

Okay so- great concept, I have the payed membership and it's fabulous. But the app is so buggy it's borderline unusable. Mine won't play a song for more than thirty seconds and the whole thing crashes regularly. I will happily change this to a five star review once these bugs are addressed, but until then I'm sticking with the browser app.

Sadly, 8Tracks has gone to the Big Web in the Sky. They are no more, and the app no longer works. However, I've enjoyed 8Tracks for most of the past decade, and made over a hundred mixes for them. Even though many listeners have moved on, I still enjoyed creating and listening to the very end.

I really missed this app when it got shut down but now that it's back it's missing a lot of what I liked about it. Mainly I wish it didn't shuffle the playlists and that there was still the option to have it stop playing music once the selected playlist is done. I'm not interested in listening to a playlist that I didn't choose for myself.

honestly I've used this service for years and I absolutely love it! that being said, recently 8tracks will not play in the background or when I have my screen off. this didn't used to be an issue and it is very frustrating now. please get this fixed so I can enjoy 8tracks again, it helps me get through my work day.

love having the free listening option back! that was always my favorite feature about 8tracks, and made finding new music easy. unfortunately i cant get the app to connect to my bluetooth headphones so i havent used it lately. other music apps connect fine but if i use bluetooth i specifically have to turn off bluetooth on and "drop" the playlist in before it works, and yet ot still only finds my car's bluetooth but not headphones. ill update if this gets fixed!

Alright I love this app but it's definitely a bit buggy, on multiple phones I've used. Can't control play from home screen or drop-down, sometimes it randomly stops playing but I believe that's to other apps or wifi interacting with it. It's a live hate relationship but mostly love. I can't complain for free music.

I live in the US, and the app says it's not available in my country... despite how it says that the app is for US and Canadian users only. Even before this it would constantly freeze, swap playlists randomly, and basicslly just not work well in the slightest. I might be getting mixed up about WHY I physically can't use the app, but the other issues are too big to ignore.

I'm glad it's back, and I really want to support the app by buying 8tracks plus, but as much as I love 8tracks to discover new music, the search function is atrocious with the bottom bar side scroll. It should be like the old days/how the current homepage is set up with downwards scroll. Current search function makes me think 8tracks will not be in my music app rotation

Doesn't work and support is non existent. App opens up to a page that say it doesn't stream to countries outside US or Canada. But I reside in Canada! Tried to email support but email no longer gets through after the 1st bot message. A total w aste of time!

Everytime I try to skip a song on a playlist, the app immediately bugs out and skips every song on the play list. At first I thought it was my internet being slow, but no matter what (even if I'm using 4G data) this happens. I am also unable to unsubscribe from the ad-free experience.
