8x8 corporate calling quality is too good I would like to take a time to appriciate your work. But in recent I am kind of facing issue with the connection to network on Mobile. If you co suggest something will be helpful Update 2 :- with recent time whenever i call any number it gets start connecting and dialing from my phone diqler anndnow its always says connecting to ohone service Kindly help to fix this
App does what it's supposed to do but recently my Bluetooth ear buds won't work after I get a call on 8x8 until I make a new phone call with my cell outside of the 8x8 app. The app seems to take control of them and not release them unless forced to do so. When this is fixed I will update my rating. Based on other reviews and message boards this has been a problem for a while and I only recently connected the dots.
New feature...parked calls notification that can't be cleared and keeps popping up. Unnecessary and annoying. Worst thing you could've done. I want it gone.
Terrible customer service. They can not be reached. A call is always scheduled. They say they will call you at a specific time, however they usually do not. Along with lots of tech problems dropped calls. Used them for almost a year. Our business suffered tremendously with lost and dropped calls. Now I have been trying to cancel for 2 months with no luck. Now they are even harder to get ahold of. They have resulted to lies about us trying to cancel. Go with a different company.
This app is horrible when it comes to Bluetooth connectivity. I have to restart my phone every time I get into my car for this app to disconnect. Unfortunately I have no option but to use this since it's for work. That said, I wouldn't recommend this app until this connectivity issue is fixed.
App interferes with Bluetooth connections. Every time I'm done with a call, my Bluetooth is connected but does not produce audio in other apps. It wasn't a problem until recently. Please fix this, this is extremely inconvenient and shouldn't be an issue.
App dose not do what you set it up to do and customer service is very very poor! They never answer and wait times are ridiculous! My company uses this app and I'm trying hard to get them to change! Hate this company and there stupid app!
Used to be a great app but no longer can use air buds if 8x8 and any other app is being used. If I have 8x8 open nothing else will play. Won't ring when another app is open either, only get missed calls. Update still an issue. I have emailed but was basically advised to be patient until next app update.
This phone system is awful. I get calls I can't answer, calls I can't hang up, spotty service, it doesn't use a standard handset, I don't like the headset, it logs me out for no reason, it doesn't work well with my cell phone, so in short I dislike it. End of review.
Seemed like there was about a 1 second lag, making conversation a bit stilted, talking over each other, etc. UPDATE: After that occurrence my experience has been fantastic. Really revolutionizes office phone system!
Needs improvements. If I am using my Galaxy Buds and answer a call, when the call finishes the headphones do not switch back go Spotify and cannot play Spotify. Have to restart my phone everytime I take a call in order for other audio to work.
This app is good sometimes, but most of the times I answer a call, and it will say missed call, and I'm on the call with the time ticking. This is a real issue because I use this app to answer after-hours call for a transportation company; sometimes, I work from home. Can this be addressed immediately? Thanks
Works great. Looking to switch from another provider and so far it's excellent. The keyboard did not originally show up on the texting page but it's there now.
My Bluetooth earbuds no longer connect correctly with my phone and other apps if I receive a call in 8x8. I have to restart my phone for it to work correctly. Why did that change as of recently?
Works fine but should have a feature to let you have multiple voicemail options (Out of office, away from desk,etc) on the mobile app without deleting the one you already have saved.
App interferes with Bluetooth connections. If a call comes in I lose audio on any Bluetooth device I have connected (speaker, headphones, car audio). Bluetooth settings show the various devices as still paired but I have to unpair and re-pair the device. Sometimes that doesn't work. The 8x8 app also still rings when my phone is in do not disturb mode.
Any time I get a call, it messes up my Bluetooth until I restart my phone. I can play audio, but it comes through like it is a phone call!?!?! This app is broken and needs to be fixed ASAP
Overall, I love the flexibility this app affords you. However, several of us at work have an issue that once you have a call come in, regardless if you answer or not, you now have an issue. After that call, if your phone connects to any bluetooth device, ie. smart watch, headphones, your car, it shows an ongoing call. You cannot end this "ghost call" without restarting your phone. I have a galaxy 21 and others have apple, so its not phone brand specific. If it weren't for this issue, this is a 5 star app all the way.
Awful app. Truly awful. Audio regularly disconnects (despite being on WiFi), if your phone switches to lock screen calls either cannot be answered or audio doesn't come through, calls don't always trigger the ringtone so you will come to find several missed calls despite never having been notified over them. For a telephony app I cannot understand what the devs do with their time because it certainly isn't developing this app. Stay away, stay far, far away from this
App doesn't ring even though I have EVERY notification setting (even the ones that were silent by default) set to always ring
UPDATE: I spoke to customer support before posting this review. They were clueless. The app doesn't really work. The user interface is counterintuitive and it suffers from massive latency issues and crashes. I can only access voicemail messages once every 3 to 5 times I launch the app. This is completely unacceptable as an Enterprise product. Update: this app remains a complete disaster. It says I have a voice mail but then there are no voice mails in the voice mail box (on the app).
I am very displeased that 8x8 has merged itself with my cell phone. My 8x8 number is for my business. Now I can't separate business from personal as I strive to maintain work life balance. I have to take extra steps to turn off notifications--and I still get intrusions from 8x8, sometimes in the middle of the night. Then when I want to use the app, I have to turn features on again. While I need to have this app on my phone for the time being, I find recent updates to be an intrusion and a pain.
Almost done with my trial period, and I plan on continuing as a paid customer. Pros: Intuitive controls, all features available in single app, responsive customer support, very configurable. You can't find a better value in this industry. Cons: Some support reps need better training. Also, admin should be able to allow users to delete messages.
Leaves a lot to be desired. I can't always hear the "phone" ring, but I hear my own phone no problems. Many times I find that my DND on the app has been turned on for no reason. My computer app doesn't work any better either. Have had multiple calls to customer service with only a band-aid applied. If I could change phone app, I would, but the company I work for uses it, so I'm stuck using it.
The app worked fine for a short period. Now it gives the splash screen when call comes in but about 80% of the time it doesnt show the number. The other 20% it shows for about 2 seconds before maximum number of rings accurs. Sometimes the app doesn't even display but that is rare. At this point the app is useless for calls but can at least check VM an get notifications of missed calls so when not in the office I know about it
