920 Text Editor

Just started using it, I'm happy with the find replace function and the find next. But typing seems to work oddly, sometimes characters are typed twice or switch to upper case for no reason. Or it isn't typing where the cursor is but rather a few positions too far to the right. Not sure if it's a compatibility issue with the SwiftKey keyboard? Just trying to select one line with drag highlighting selects hundreds of lines and swoops through the code. not sure if I will use this for long...

Terrible. Used in a previous version and it was great, but for some time to date, it is giving so much trouble. Have tried to use it in Android 4 and Android 7. Impossible to use, changes the Uppercase Lowercase like nonsense (Android 7) or introduces lines (Android 4) I have checked my keyboard (Google & Swipe) they work well except this App., it has so many issues that it is impossible to write anything with it. Sorry for it because it was great. Update: Same issues of Android 7 with Android 9

Open a file in it and it shows as "untitled." Go to end of a line and hit enter and it removes the punctuation at the end of the line in the process of doing a CR. Hit enter again and nothing happens. Undo doesn't remember everything done. Far too many issues, should be an alpha project at best (and really not even that).

This is a really nice editor, however there is a bug in the find and replace. When you go into the find and replace, you define you search string, then your replace string. Then you set it to run. After that you have to do the whole process again just to actually do what you initially wanted to do. It would be better just to go straight into the second find and replace editor and remove the first one.

This app has ONE JOB to do, and yet fails spectacularly at it. I type 1 letter, I get 2. I then backspace to get rid of the extra letter and it deletes 2 or the occasional 3. How? And then when I finally manage to type what I want and save, I'll come back to the file to see that it botched that operation too. Is this app some sort of strange joke that went over my head?

Buggy, unusable. Can't even write a single string. As I type, first symbol duplicates; then when I press enter key, it just duplicates all the text that was initially typed, more with every enter key hit.

Opened up a text document, and the app replaced some characters with garbage, and put a dot between every letter. No obvious way to fix it - garbage UX. Also, was promised code folding/collapsing, did not deliver.

LOTS of bugs and issues to work out. Typing anything is impossible. Pressing space writes the letter 'e' two characters left of where the cursor is, and pressing shift replaces the character left of the cursor with an 'H' and deletes the character to the left of the H...... How.... How does this even happen? What kind of janky programming do you need to implement for basic keyboard inputs to malfunction like this?

Got it because I heard it was a good text editor. If writing something as simple as took me 3 minutes because it mirrors writing or the enter(new line) key does weird things, I think this is NOT a good editor.

Beautiful, a lot of functions, but sorry, I can't use the editor: each time I add a space character inside a word, the space is inserted before and the word change.

The select text doesnt working well, and writing after $1 in replace didnt work however the most important thing is that regexp is supported so a big thumb up. Did not try advanced regexp patterns yet but Im happy at least this worked perfectly.

Ad free, and opened the documents I wanted to edit...but completely unusable. It kept inserting parts of what I just typed, couldn't close brackets, etc.

can't sort files by date descending?! comon now, this is simple stuff. selected text to copy and crashed. complete fail.

An awesome text editor, I recommand it for anyone who write programs or edit them on the go. I would like if the Editor just add "Arduino" languge for the hilighted languages.

good editor. Can not extend selection by text selection handlers - selection range jumps unpredictable. Wil be nice to add html view, js and terminal console.

tears last character off when hit CR ; has SD permission but fails to save to that external; to perserve Japanese text, add a dpace before entering a CR even with autowrap settings off ... hope can be fixed, as this is only Nougat on an Asus unrooted vanilla tablet.

Every single time i click on Open File the screen freezes & i have to Force Close it. Disappointed as i loved the layout & features.

I can't make a new line when pressing the enter key more than twice. is this restricted or needs configuration? to make a blank line why can't, please correct it sir. Thank you very much.

Tab Stops is nice.. Punch to change font size for zoom effect is also good.. Keyboard input is super buggy.. No Dropbox integration

Worst user experience.Crashes everytime you want to edit.Shows save option,but doesn't shows up in the external.

I can't get to the text files on my memory card. There isn't any way to tell the program to look for files on the memory card. On an older version of the apt you could do this.

Full of bugs and can't save to external SD. Not much going for it really.

It's good but it could be better. I'll check if this app has been updated in 3-4 months. The problems I have with it is it's very hard to copy text and it's hard to write.

It's really buggy, but there are no alternatives in fact, it is the desktop class editor.

Every time I type the cursor moves in between the code and basically it just doesn't work as it's supposed to.

This app has been great... once in the past. Now it requires root to even open a file. Hmmm...

Really Really good but a few things are not ok. the delete key needs work especially.

Used to be the best. Now it glitches and scrolls to the end of file. Uninstalled.

i like seeing the number line but its terrible when i edit my text notes.
