It's the best app for the Netherlands in terms of c making the best connections through different public transportation modes. However, when there are cancellations or maintenance work, the search keeps crashing. Unreliable.
It is practical application for traveling around the Netherlands. It is easy to use. You can follow timetables and easy access your tickets. Also, you get a bill yo your e-mail. It will be better that bill is in PDF format
An app that should be made for every country!! Free, low exposure to ads and works real-time, the cooperation between companies is insane!! Only thing I would add is ordering favorites on the Departures tab, I use this app daily and often in a pinch so it would really help!
The app is an easy to use and very efficient, it consists of accurate information needed for travel to any destination with train from Netherlands and within Netherlands without a need of asking anyone. I really like this app😊I recommend it for everyone in Netherlands
Lovely how you can't save routes for later. The lack of a travel history making it really stressful to close the app mid travel. Convience is a real problem and you guys are fighting it with all you've got
Brilliant, always knows where I need to be. Would be cool for there to be a slider on how aggressive the timing between changeovers can be but it is the best travel planner I've used so far
So far it's been getting me through my trip to Amsterdam. it's a bit wonky on the sense that once you buy the ticket you lose the itinerary, but that's easily remedied by saving the itinerary before buying the ticket (+ sign on upper right corner).
Almost every time I open it it'll ask me to change my privacy options to "full functionality", so it can use my data. I've asked the app to save my privacy options a 100 times by now.
Its nice app and always use for public transport. Not only provide the public transport schedule but also the travel cost..
Excellent application. Very convenient, reliable and easy to use at least for me. Keep up the good work. :)
Why this app? It serves absolutely no purpose in the countryside. For example today the bus of 8:27 is on time but is full again so you are not allowed to travel. Next bus at 8:52 is cancelled but there is a "delayed " bus at 8:53 and what do you know after standing for 30 minutes in the freezing cold we are allowed to enter because there is space. It is becoming the new norm, busses arrive at the busstop but are full so you are not allowed to travel, no busses after 18:00 or during the weekend.
I used this app in and around Amsterdam, NL. It helped so much and we were able to ride the train and tram with ease.
Unlike most people here, I think the update is cool and has many things to appreciate. The previous design was definitely outdated. I have one problem: shortly after I save a travel advice, when I press on the travel advice it tells me the the travel advice is no longer available and won't show it. Defeats the purpose of saving it if I cant see it later. Also, the button to save an advice can definitely be a bit clearer, maybe add text to the button?
This update is not very good the design in general is not bad, but the app has become hard to understand. The trips are also displayed in a way that is difficult to figure out. Finally, but most importantly, a few days ago the app has become unusable. A glitch or bug makes it so that after I enter a traveling route, and pick one of the possibilities, it writes "unknown error" instead of displaying where I need to go. The previous version was 100 times better.
I like the new design but its not as functional as it was before the update. When you save a journey and after a while go back to that saved journey, it says "this journey is no longer available" when it actually still is available. Something that also bothers me is that its very hard changing the departure/arrival times. The functioning of the pre-update app was way better.
The app does not show all the options. It even sometimes misses the buses/ trams. So you sit down and your bus just passes by, as you did not expect them at that time. It also suggests far more inconvenient options than reality. Synchronization with NS planning (trains) is also terrible. But hey, this is all you can get!
Uninstalled after five years of use. Despite the invasive adds, it used to be a good app combining all possible means of transportation. Since the update I keep getting an 'unknown error', and I see by the comments I am not the only one.. How could you release an app on which people relay on with such a bug? Besides that, the amount of data and space being used for a 'commuting' app is no longer tolerable. Good luck for future updates.
The only thing I want from this app is to have to look at it for as short a time as possible. Changes in the layout (especially bad ones, like this) are pretty much exactly what I do not want. Also since the update three quarters of my searches seem to come up with "unknown errors". Still, turning everything into unworkable, annoying thrash seems to be à la mode, so in that sense the developers deserve kudos.
The newly updated user interface is very modern and smooth, i like the functionality as well, but there are a moderate amount of ads in the app. I would gladly pay a few bucks to remove them but there does not seem to be any option to do so. Until that optional is available, I am reverting to NS journey planner for my public transport
The app can look as pretty as it wants, but if it does not do what it should, it means nothing. Please get people who actually use the app to test it for you before rolling it out to the public. Currently it is user unfriendly and not intuitive at all. I have issues with saved trips, the keyboard that pops up at every moment, the huge ad space in the middle of a list of suggested trips, the fact that the first 3 suggested trips start in tbe past (they mean squat). Then not to talk about my locat
Cannot access saved travels when offline. Displays incorrect information. When closed for two seconds it reopens on the home screen. I get that it's difficult to make a good app for public transport but the app is genuinely annoying to use. + It gives you travel advices that take ~1 hour more And shows you stops that are much further away than they need to be.
I am new in The Netherlands and before this was a very useful app, but after the update it's not working for me anymore. The design is confusing and it is very difficult to change the departure time, I tried to find a schedule for the afternoon and it showed me times for the same time but in the morning, then the app got stocked and I had to restart it. I would share my data, but it is not worthy in exchange for so poor service.
As long as this app is open it keeps polling for GPS, being a huge battery drain if you forget to kill it or want to keep it open for reference, plus the obvious potential privacy issue. Additionally, the app doesn't allocate space between the results for the advertisements, pushing the details down while you're reading them, once they finally load. The adds are also ridiculously intrusive and data demanding.
The app itself is fine and works decently on most occasions, but I'm very annoyed that nearly every time I open the app, it asks me to click on full functionality, which basically means all my data will be shared with third parties. Without the 'full functionality' the app still works perfectly fine. I would like for this app to ask me about my privacy settings once, no every time I use the app...
