98.5 The Sports Hub

Easily the worst app I've ever used. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. When you start it up, there's absolutely no guarantee you're going to get the current show airing. There's even a chance you're not even going to get the correct show on the correct day. I just had to force restart 4 times and got two different shows from yesterday and then somehow music! Wish I knew who developed the app so I could boo them.

The app is constantly pausing the live stream. Regardless of how the phone is being used, or even not used, I cannot get more than 5 minutes of constant streaming. The app frequently starts the stream back up after 2~30 seconds, however recently it's just stopping the stream altogether. When I go back to press play, nothing will happen. The stream will just start of it's own accord later that day.

This app is frustrating. When it works it is great, but that is only some of the time. Occasionally it is not simulcast and is playing a different show from a different slot a previously recorded show, and other times it comes in and out like a tape skipping sometimes going out for over a minute at a time. Just needs to be polished up.

I have had to hit force stop many times because when you hit play it now brings you to podcasts from other shows. I have to hit pause and scroll down hit the play. If that doesnt work I force stop and then reopen the app and try again. After 3 tries I end up removing the app and the. Have to reinstall it. That usually works. Serious functionality issues. This has been on going for over 6 months.

The app is OK. It works and great to read articles. but at times when I'm trying to get the radio broadcast during the day, it broadcasts a different station, not 98.5. When that happens I use Tunein and I get the local 98.5 broadcast. Not sure why it does that but it would be great if i were to hear 98.5 instead of some other CBS sports radio station.

generally the app works well but id like to br able to read the articles on my phone. they always have an ad that covers most of the screen. It should be one thst you can "X"out after a few seconds or disappear on its own but it does not. it is very intrusive on the app.

This app is garbage. I honestly don't understand in the year 2019, in the pinacle of technology, that an app can deliver the most frustrating experience. It NEVER works properly. It never live streams their station when I want it to and instead play the podcasts of the day, or sometimes even previous days. We can program a rover on Mars to move about a desolate lifeless (so far) planet and have a 1000% higher chance of sending the correct request. Whoever runs this app should be fired.

Just when you think an app couldn't possibly get worse.. they simehow figured it out..it used to play other radio stations after a terrible update but at least has a button to play the Sportshub that you could hit after. well that button is now gone. is 7:40 AM and I'm listening to Felger and Mazz from the day before. absolutely horrible app. giing back to using other ones

Force stop. The only way to use this app is to constantly force stop it. Sometimes it loads "stream sportshub" (good) and sometimes it loads "stream hubcast" (bad) - you never know! And if you click a show - say Felger and Mazz which NO ONE wants - you can never get back to just streaming the live channel unless you force stop! Poor UX, poor organization, poor execution. Clicking the developer website leads to a 404.

Cannot play the live stream of the app. Upon launch of the app, the only option is to play old podcasts unless of course I force stop 5-7 times and sometimes if the planets align and I happen to be wearing some Ruby red slippers will the live stream function appear. Lately, I've just been going to the mobile page via my browser and live streaming from there.

Super annoying. Just like everybody else says, it plays random podcasts and I have to keep shutting the app down and restarting it over and over and over again and hopefully at some point it goes live. You just never know what you're going to get with this app. So frustrating!

The last version of the app was much better. Nothing but problems since the last update. Plays wrong station. Cuts out all the time. Replays last 10 seconds constantly and they got rid of the auto play feature. Fix it

Getting Worse? Is it me or is the performance of this app deteriorating? Can't play , only opens up podcasts , have to close and re-open several times to get live stream and now won't even play that. Uninstalled and reinstalled and still lousy. Clearly they don't care because reviews seem to be pretty consistent

I used the app on IOS forever and there were never any issues. On Android it almost never points to the live show. Instead it plays something from the past. Sometimes restarting my phone works, sometimes it doesn't.

Horrible app! as others have described it's impossible to live stream. I opened the app to live stream the Saturday show this morning. I kept getting the felger & mazz show from yesterday (Friday). i closed the app and opened it again... same thing. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it hit play and it went right back to the Friday felger & mazz show where I left off before uninstalling. waste of time... useless!
