Either you love it, or hate it (look at the reviews). Make sure your character is well-rounded! I have the first, but never got into it. I think I didn't play it enough. I went a bit further with the 2nd one, then found I was enjoying myself. Like many old D&D type movies, this game is story driven, not a graphic masterpiece! If you, like those that love it, can enjoy it from that point of view, it is well worth playing. Just remember, make well-rounded characters (melee, magic, ranged, etc.).

This is/was one of my favorite games. I really liked the combat system and the presentation altogether. I put a lot of time into it and enjoyed the duration but when near the end my save corrupted and there was no way to restore it. I've been tempted to restart but still feeling burnt over one year later. It was excellent until it wasn't. I still recommend it somehow.

Proper RPG and open world, with some annoyances. An actual open world, which rewards you for exploration, and freedom to build your character different ways. Graphics are blurry and low contrast so it's often hard to tell what's going on. No maps in huge winding caves where everything looks the same makes it a real chore sometimes to figure out where you've been.

It was a step back from the original with its annoying platforming feature, while still remaining with that unfinished feeling with game bugs. It's still a good time waster for mobile, but it isn't to in-depth or balanced for a Rpg. It doesn't give you the want to go redo dungeons. You can easily spend a good 20 to 40 hours on it. Hopefully the 3rd title can beat these problems and revive this great series that has so much potential.

games damn good, enjoyable to start and finish once you grasp its whole concept, explore to your heart content, ton of hours worth of gameplay, and the level up system, wich it feel like final fantasy 3, its top notch. HOWEVER, my biggest let down its theres no map for dungeons, its quite a inexplicable considering how detailed the word map is. The dungeon are big and well tought so it leaved this kind of "did i go this way?" and its confusing if you are aiming toward an objective.

Really fun old school RPG. World itself is surprisingly big & there seems to be a lot of content/items/spells/armor/etc. Combat/looting system is good. Story is engaging. Real, genuine, fun RPG. It is however a rather difficult game & after the beginning part there is no more help or explanation ever for what to do/where to go, & no online guides, & that can be frustrating. One thing I dislike massively are the moving platforms everywhere, its wonky & tedious & ruins otherwise perfect gameplay.

Amazing. I purchased this game a while back but didn't give it much thought until last night when I went rummaging for something to play- I can't believe it took me this long. Great music, amazingly smooth interface and controls- everything just works! I recommend this to any RPG fan looking for some fun. +5 with no regrets or compromise.

Great open world game with plenty of different styles to play and a lot of neat loot to find that can't be found in certain shops. I tried to be fair and give this something less than a 5 star but I couldn't find anything particularly wrong with this game that isn't hindered by it being for mobile mainly. Definitely worth the purchase and time and will be looking forward to buying the 3rd installment.

I've played a few hours and really enjoyed it, but I recently got a new phone (OnePlus 6t) and it says the game is incompatible with my current version of Android (9, OxygenOS 9.0.5) and crashes every time I try and load into the game from the title menu. Hopefully it gets updated or my phone gets updated so it works! Would love to finish the game.

I was scrounging Google Play for some good games and mostly came up short. When I came across 9th Dawn 2 I thought "eh, not sure" but I bought it, played it, and I was not disappointed. At first the graphics come into question but 9th Dawn 2 is a testament to the idea that a game doesn't have to have AAA graphics to be outstanding. The game has a great system of looting and fairly decent controls. My only disappointment with 9th Dawn 2 is when it ended. Can't wait for 9th Dawn 3.

Fun game but unpolished. Twin stick top down rpg with a vast world to explore. 3-stars because there is no cross play for pc nor any way to move saves through devices. Also the game crashes on my one plus 8 after the character creation page.

Surprisingly immersive. So many developers dont realize how important sound design and atmosphere are for a game. This one gets it. Gameplay is simple, yet strategic, well paced, and balanced with just the right amount of difficulty. Fans of dungeon crawlers will find a satisfying experience here. (Seriously, I feel like I robbed somebody, considering how little this game cost vs. how great it really is.)

Innovative rpg/ platformer hybrid with puzzles and depth. Some mid-late game content left unfinished but doesnt hinder finishing game. Fighting styles are ultra imbalanced. By mid-game you need to be wand/ wisdom/ spell spec to survive. Paid $.99 but easily worth more. The music and sound Fx add a lot to the immersion. Graphics are a little weird but you get used to them. Could easily be 5/5 w/ more polishing.

Bought the original years ago and loved it. This game reminds me of the old Ultima games and is such a great game. Controls are spot on, graphics are beautiful and an open world to explore. This is what a mobile RPG should be! Thanks and keep up the fantastic work.

Alright, this is a nice open world rpg with some dungeon crawler experience. The control is slick but you might need to get used to for a bit. There are a tiny bit of story scatterred and I love the exploration in this game. Yea, maybe the minimap is not that useful, but it is overall a fun game to play with a big world to traverse.

Google should ban these games. Somehow the first one works it's old, it's got issues but it kept me interested enough to get the second one. Alas this one didn't even load. I get to the menu, make a character and as soon as I click start it crashes. Go back into the game, click load it has my character created and does the same thing. Clearly the game doesn't work anymore on newer devices. Don't support this dev and won't be willing to buy the 3rd game as I'm sure it will have the same issues.

Great game, as expected 👍 However, there's a pretty bad inventory bug /: I'm unable to use properly items from my inventory, as when I tap the item, it drags the item a bit when I let my finger go, closing any "Use" or "Equip" option that appeared. This happens no matter how fast I tap. Can't consume items 🙁 Using a OnePlus 7Pro

From 5 star to 1 star: Lost my progress after devoting so many hours on this game because my save file won't load. This game is too scary to play due to the lack of cloud sync for save files. So if ever your save file gets corrupted there's no way of getting it back. I now regret ever purchasing this. One bug from the game would render all the time and effort you put into playing it.

OK so once u figure out how to kill things and are able to leave the town it's a pretty good game. suprisingly hard puzzles I had to look one of them up. still a bit hard to aim though. I've tried adjusting settings but still having some trouble

This is by far one of the best little RPG games on the play store, The Music is catchy, Lots of Loot and bosses, And the map is very Large. I've been playing now for about 2 weeks on breaks at work and at home, and I have not yet discovered everything the game has to offer. Thank you to the developer!

Jef. L. Aug 6, 2019

Simply put, this game is amazing. The amount of content is incredible. The quality of the assets (especially the music) makes the game immersive. If 2D Elder Scrolls were ever a thing, it would look just like 9th Dawn. Worth every penny. The only reason I gave this 5 stars is because 6 wasn't allowed.

Enjoying this game a lot! I have the PC game as well, and probably racked up over 100 hours playing different builds. I"ve played the classics like Baldur's Gate and Icewind Dale, SSI gold box D&D, Fallout 1 & 2, etc... This game is reminiscent of those games, but a light version. Can't wait to see more games from this developer!

App was built for older version of Android? I was using a Samsung Note 8 and then swapped it to a Note 9, and recently felt like picking right back up where I last left off in my game. The game keeps crashing and bringing me back to home screen. Anyone can clarify? Valorware, is there a fix?

Moving platforms ruin game. 9th Dawn 1 is unfinished. It should be free, but I paid money. Unplayable. Stupid me then bought this one, because I did smell promise with 9th Dawn 1, but alas, the stupid moving platforms ruin this sequel game. Maybe with a Bluetooth controller and a dedicated jump button that my fingers actually feel, then maybe it would be ok, but the game offers no controller support!!!! I wanted an RPG, not a platformer.

Great arpg with a fair amount of depth. Controls work well although can be a bit frustrating on smaller devices. Can customize character builds with items, abilities, and stat points.

It's unfair that you can spend all your time leveling up as a Warrior but then when you face enemies who have magic damage you have to start over & level up as a Wizard in order to wear gear that has magic defense. So just because I'm a Warrior I can't have defense against magic damage?? It's freaking lame and it made me put the game down because I'm not starting over from the beginning just so I can survive a cave with magic enemies.... Fix the gear so that warriors have defense against magic
