A Better Camera Unlocked

This was my camera of choice to replace the terrible stock camera. That's why I paid for the pro version. However something strange happened to it and it takes about 5 to 10 seconds to take a photo. When you think it's done the business, it hasn't, and you move it only to get a blury picture of you moving the phone. Great effect! Not. So now I am using the stock camera again and the so called "better" camera is in reserve for when the controls of the stock camera just won't do it. I have emailed support about the issue but they don't like to reply it seems. I am using the "better" camera with standard settings, nothing fancy, I have not changed it as it comes downloaded. Very disapointing, as for a long time it was indeed "better" but not now. Such a shame.

I have bought the app a few years ago but have stopped using it, decided to give it a try again. Recorded some test videos and they were fine. Then I used it to record my kid's performance at a school function, and all I got is a zero byte file that claims to be a 34 minute video. Space was not an issue. The app failed to perform it's most basic function - to actually store the video. Trying to get everyone to redo the performance won't work, so now I just don't have video of it.

I don't usually do reviews, but this....I have a xz premium phone , and it's stock app does oversharpenning, no night mode and no HDR, so pretty useless even if the sensor is actually amazing, I did tried other apps, all were limited by the camera 2 API to 8 mp instead of 19, missing focus all the time and all the images were soft. This app is something else, it works at 19 MP, don't know how they do it but the focus is good and on point, pictures are very sharp +HDR+nightmode, perfect app !

Rip off. I got this app to take a picture of a full moon I paid the 99 cents to unlock everything and my credit card was charged $0.99 and then another $1.50. that was the first issue the second issue is after paying for all that to unlock everything I still do not have any control of shutter speed or the ISO complete rip off.

Unlocked version. The proportions of the image preview are wrong, stretched vertically. Unistalled/re-installed several times, it didn't help. No time for trying to figure out. Funny thing is that it worked before I purchase the "upgraded" version. Panorama feature is incredibly useless too. Bye!

Worked originally, now crashes on launch. Completely unusable now in Samsung Galaxy S8+. Not sure exactly how long ago it stopped working, but it's been weeks or months--today I got fed up enough with trying to launch and having to choose another camera app that I decided to leave a review. Free version still works, paid version crashes. I cannot recommend the unlocked version at all in it's current nonworking state.

Hey guys! Just installed this on a new out of the box HTC desire 12 device. Much better than the native cam however, when opening the camera everything is elongated. For example an A5 book will look much slender and taller. A hand will look as if the fingers were longer. It is distorted and very unpleasant. But, when saved, the picture is normal. Is there anything you guys can do? It's really cool and the unlocked version has good features. Thx!

Bought this app that has good characteristics but picture proportion is terrible, slender and in vertical slimline. The color is also horrific and unnatural. Graded wrongly and impossible to correct it. In all the situation the pictures are beyond acceptance. I wouldn't have bought it if had read the reviews of other users. It is quite disturbing and it is no longer supported.

Heard good things, works pretty well except I'm having a major flaw... Whenever I'm on auto focus (and manual shutter speed/custom ISO) the shutter button won't work! If I change it to manual focus is works well but then, changing the manual focus on a phone is not the most appetizing thing

This app used to be the best replacement for stock camera. Recently the app stopped working. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling but it still won't work. The app keeps crashing. The focus has been an issue as well. Not sure what happened after one of the updates but hopefully it will get fixed. I have to find a new app now.

Hello Team, all the photos come out with a green tinge. Can you please have a look at this? I tried the free version of the app before buying and was surprised to see that both the apps seems to be different with the exception to UI design.

Better, but still an issue. No longer crashes when I select video mode on my Note 8, but the still/video mode selection is still on the "shoot " button so it keeps switching modes when I just want to take a picture!

Viewfinder on main camera stretched, the proportion setting only works on front camera. Please fix this. I'm using Samsung Note 10 Lite. Also missing is the setting to switched off sound, cant seem to find it anywhere. As far as the function goes, all was spot on.

Used to be great, now every time you try to view the photo you just took it spams you with a pop up advertising their image editor. Every. Single. Time. This is a paid app dude, don't fill it with ads.

12-19: Still no response 12-8: Used to brag about this app. I even gave it 5 stars, but now it's completely useless. I have 2 phones. The app shuts down after every attempt to shoot a pic. On both phones! I'm hoping that they will correct this, since I paid for the pro version. It had features that I used all the time. I don't know what's going on with the company that makes this app. No replies whatsoever. I no longer recommend this phone app. It used to be my favorite. Such a disappointment!

App is Good. But kindly upgrade the app to allow it to use the highest resolution of the phone. Like in general settings highest camera resolution setting is 12/13 MP, but my phones camera resolution is 48MP. Kindly allow the app to use the fullest potential of the camera for better shots. And finally add shutter speed and iso manual options. Such features may boost the apps likeliness to take wonderful pics. Hoping to see the best upgrades to come

It takes pictures. Not worth money any more than any other Camera app. works, maybe, sometimes, after i restart it, that applies on all my devices two phones and a tablet. Sorry I can't give a better review, good luck.

Used to work fine on my galaxy s6. Now it crashes every time I tried to take a video on my galaxy s7. No feature on app to send feedback or bug report. Looks like they're not very responsive to reviews based on most recent reviews.

Does not capture the details properly. When zoomed we can see distortions and the image gets blurred. Tried with various options with not much luck. The lighting as well gets darker when shooting normal clicks - No HDR.

Handling is not easy, panoroma shot outdated, focus mode not work as nowdays camera app works, flash light on/off options need improvement. Overall app performance is not good... Need much more improvement in this app. I personal suggestion is to not to buy this application.

While trying to access the help section it constantly crashes. If you try to start in video mode it's only a black screen. It has nice features when it works.

It appears the creators of this app have taken my money and run because this app has not been updated since 2019. Free version was good but paid version is terrible with awful colour and distortion. I give up with it so uninstalled. I have been robbed, scammed and promised something I was not given.

Agree with other comments about everything having a green tinge. Thought I'd switched something on by mistake, but no. Can't avoid it and terrible compared with the installed camera on the phone.

App crashes when taking HDR photos, which is what I wanted it for in the first place. The trial version worked, so this is just disappointing.
