I really liked this game until it stopped working. I have really bad blinking tics, so it was a video game I was finally able to play without having to see! Unfortunately, I got a bit of the ways into the game and it just straight up stopped working. At first, I couldn't hear Louise's voice when I tapped the screen (which is what was supposed to happen), then when I finally tried to uninstall and reinstall, after reinstalling it just straight up doesn't do anything. Very disappointed.
The game has no graphics whatsoever and is absolutely amazing, I did find a slight clunkyness with the controls but only so much can be done to a game with no sight needed. My favorite thing to do is close my eyes and imagine im there because the sound design is stunning, I can imagine myself in the game with all the sounds and explinations before each part. It is however long between each save point and must have some extra free time before you should try to start playing.
Absolutely fantastic and mindblowing experience! The controls are pretty seamless (the only reason why it was giving me slight problems is because i have a cracked screen,) however, there is a bug in the scene where you go on a rowboat by the sea. I am hearing horses but despite me trying to move forward, i dont think i am going anywhere. It is just a little bug though! So far, great experience! If the bug was fixed i would easily give your graphics a 5/5, though I cant continue the game :(
Best game ever! It is so realistic, in fact, when you have head phones on it really feels as if you have been transported into the adventures of a knight with visual impairment. One small thing, I found the turning controlls a little buggy. For instance, the game doesn't seem to have a set turning distance, like when I have to turn to face Louise's direction, I may have to turn left and right a few times before I nail her direction. Apart from that, excellent work!
Its a really good game. I like the concept, an rpg game that the blind can play, brilliant. The audio is very nice, and it feels realistic. The only reason I took off a star is it takes a very long time to complete the directions the daughter gives. I spent a good 15-30 minutes just trying to get to a cave or forest. It honestly felt like I was going in circles. Second, it's very tricky. Which would be ok, but I died right away when I was following the instructions and was running away.
it is pretty good, the controls are clever and the story so far is good. but I have run into an issue. I'm not sure if anyone else has had this issue before but I have gotten to a certain point in the game and I think my character is frozen because I can turn him left and right but I can't seem to move towards the daughter's voice. She keeps saying, "you're close," or "you're REALLY close," but when I try to move forward it doesn't seem to let me. please fix this if possible.
phenomenal. ive never encountered something like this before, and it blew my mind! a fantastic immersive gameplay where you can experience being, quite literally, THE blind legend. what i like to do is close my eyes and focus on the sounds. and because we have no sight, it makes the journey far more heart pumping!
I think this is good i only seen from outside btw add like when Bluetooth is connect the game is normal but without it connected it will show are you blind? And then if yes then it will say to wear headphones if no then the sounds where it's comming from will pop out at the screen or footsteps or other sounds can make you see a little bit like another game (it will have color/ it will have no color just white outline it's your choice) rate my idea ??/10
This game started off really fun but I soon ran into a problem. When the girl is talking about crossing the ice mountains I can turn right left or walk straight ahead, I just hear the man walking, the girl keeps saying that it's straight ahead but you never reach your destination. I spent a hour walking in a straight line.
Hello team members. Thank you for planning this game out so nicely. It's very beautifully laid out and is easy to play as well. It's fun but at the same time, in the scenes "The Fisherman's Village" and "Mist Woods" contain no audio clarity. It breaks and the words can't be understood. The story ends ubruptly as well. Please look into it. Other than that, you're all good to go.
This is a fun game and it's Quite enjoyable and relaxing. The only thing I dont like is how easy it is to accidentally go to the main menu, and having to do an entire area over again, it'd be great if the main menu control was adjustable to maybe 3 finger swipe
Amazing game, finally something I can play without staring into the screen (after working 8 hours a day in front of the screen). The sound and voice acting is amazing, it takes some time to get a hold of the controls for a total beginner but it was a nice challenge for me, figuring out how everything works.
This game is innovative and fun -- the story is great (though undeniably generic) and the action is engaging and tense. In particular, I really loved the voice acting. Highly recommend!
This game is amazing and frustrating because there are levels that make no sense . I don't know if this a bug or not but i could never reach Lois in the dungeon level no matter how close i get , i can not reach her nothing happenes in that level . There are levels like the mist one in which you have to follow the song ( more like a wind chime ) and the thing is it is frustrating as hell because it is very long compared to other levels .
This game is definitely something else. Not everyone is going to like it, but it is an amazing concept. I personally am very impressed with it, and really enjoy the unique experience. The controls take a little getting used to, but you eventually figure out what works best for you. For example; I play on my phone, so I found that if, instead of pinching to bring up my shield in fights, I use my thumb on the hand holding the phone and my index finger on the other hand, it makes the combo easier.
Very impressed by the complete sound based game with an interesting story. But the "turn around" instruction is horrible. Stuck at waterfall too. Overall, exceptional concept, but not for a person who still can't understand "turn around"
I love the improvements that blind legens has made from when I first played it the story is a litt generic but the controls are much better now the voice acting in some parts was a little lacking but not enough to distract from the feel and tone
It's different. When I started the game, I was clicking on the screen all the time so the daughter would tell me where should I go. Later I just closed my eyes and listened, got better at the game. It was still pretty scary - not knowing what is in front of me and so on. The audio - sounds, music, everything - is perfect. Try it if you want something different.
The game is great and all but the instructions for turning are confusing. If I turn once to the left am I facing Northwest or just West? The part where you have to hide behind a waterfall kept telling me to turn left but I tried both swiping left and swiping once but I ended up losing all my lives because of it. Be more clear on the instructions.
Hey Dowino Team! Very innovative and great game A Blind Legend is. I really liked this game and played it. But I found some issues in it which made me to play it less. Like, the issue I found was that while playing the game when any whatsapp message is received, The game automatically gets mute. It is so annoying and killing my interest to play this game. Please fix this as soon as possible
It's a great game but I've had a lot of frustration with the controls recently. I'll pinch the screen to block and it thinks I'm trying to go to the main menu. It's happened 7 times in 15 minutes. I have to restart the entire scene each time and it's really ruining it for me.
i really want to support this game because it's innocative, accessible, and mostly well done. the acting and story aren't incredible nor immersive but i feel like it's decent for a free game with honorable intensions. i'm currently stuck on the ice, where i'll walk step by step closer to Louise and constantly asking where she is, she will tell me to go right ahead until she's suddenly behind me, then i have to do it again and again. félicitations à la team pour ce jeu original et facile d'accès
A awesome concept executed very well. Well worth 5 stars, would reccomend. The voice acting is great but the dialogue gets repetitive quite fast. I've not finished the game yet but have reccomended it to my friend so they can experience it too! Excited to see more from the devs ^^
Android 9. The game doesn't recognize any touches except douple taps. I couldnt change the language, couldn't move, couldn't go back to the menu. I was really excited to experience this audio game. Too bad.
I started playing and was amazed by the sound design. Sadly the turn left turn right on the joy didn't exactly work for me. When I need to hide behind the waterfall, the daughter keeps saying "Turn left" even after I turned left like 10 times and lost all lives ln that section because the turning does not seem to register. Disappointed. Also, is the turning like 2 axis or more? So do we have North West South East or do we have more directions? I don't get it
I have three things I need in order to finish a game: It can be played offline, You don't have to pay to finish, And the levels aren't so hard that you decide it's not worth it. This one has all that and more. I thought it was a super cool game. I learned to close my eyes and trust my ears. Ill never underestamate the blind again...because I've experenced it!
