Can't add to my family apps.
I had this via my now defunct amazon app account. I purchased it because it was such a family favorite last year. Sad to see that after spending 5 bucks on the thing that they felt it was ok to add in app purchases and ads to buy the dvd at the end. I'll keep this app for now but wont buy the others I planned to buy.
How pathetic. I updated this previously-paid app in Dec 2012 only to discover they added a built-in store with purchasable items. Another DYW app (Drain Your Wallet). Had I known this, I would not have updated.
This book is not working right on my Nexus 7 (2013) with lollipop. It often freezes and locks up.
"Download failed because resources could not be found." That's the error message that I keep getting. Last year my son couldn't enjoy this book by Christmas because the developer took too long to make it compatible with Android 4.1. This year we're dealing with this error message. Bah humbug!
Who turned this lovely gem into a heartless IAP-fest, that brought tears to my daughter's eyes when she had to pay to decorate her tree this xmas? Uninstalled, will never by from them again. Dress up an aggressive, callous, beggar as Santa for Xmas to shake down the kids for cash, and you've got this app.
Very good app but the voices are getting cut on the last word of every part read, this gets kind of annoying.
Updates *NIGHTMARE* bc no wifi/internet at home. DRM not fair to bought apps last year. FIX IT or REFUND IT! Sorry I bought it. App is absent now

Worth the money.
Great example of a well produced app. Fantastic interaction with each page in the story. Good narration/voice acting, and fun music. Only issue is possible compatibility issues :(
