Similar bugs to everybody else. Some additional errors to report: when the app is minimized and playing in the background, there are no controls on the screen to pause, skip, etc. Even if the app is closed, at times it will randomly start playing videos where you left off. Finally, even if you have screen rotation locked on your phone, the app still rotates. Edit 3/20/22 Now having issues where the app closes out mid-video, and completely loses its spot.

The platform itself is great on the web, but the Android app is poorly done and too buggy to use for any extended period of time. The pause button and other video controls only work intermittently. At times, the quizzes are completely unusable and don't register input other than the back button. For a premium paid subscription for technical content, the Android App should be MUCH better.

Pretty bad App in general unfortunately ,there a lot of problems with rotations of the screen and I have to constantly change my phone up and down in order to watch.Plus a lot of courses that are not so popular like specialties aren't up to date .The only thing that's worth is the playground which has its limitations

I'm enjoying learning with A Cloud Guru, and I have their course to thank for my AWS exam pass. I've found the courses and exercises to be well designed and most importantly enjoyable.

The chromecast icon is almost never selectable. The navigation is confusing and not conform to industry standards. Subtitles never show up. Search lacks proper filtering. The feedback button is broken. And updating does not resolve the issues.

Last update screwed up the experience. It says I dont have internet. Please roll out the fix ASAP. Same issue on both android as well as iOS apps. Edit : i see that last app update was on 23 Nov 2021 and someone complained about it within a day. The support responded saying they are aware of the issue and will roll out fix in next update. 2 weeks on, people are still waiting.. Update:- The app has been working well for last few weeks. Changed rating.

I don't think I can get a platform better than what a cloud guru have offered. I took the Linux+, AWS Cloud Practitioner and AWS Solution Architect Associate exam trainings and all the trainings are very good.

App keeps crashing on Android. I open it and it keeps shutting immediately afterwards, very frustrating!

Best learning platform for IT professionals, by far. Although some of the longer questions don't fit on my Samsung S8 screen.

The app is quirky on odd little ways. Their "send feedback" button does nothing. Any time you disconnect Bluetooth from your device, they start playing what you were last listening to through your speakers (even if you had it paused before disconnecting). They require the app to remain open while downloading content for offline viewing instead of pushing an active notification. During autoplay from one video to the next, you need to hit pause then play after the first video. Sometimes twice.

You can't watch downloaded videos without internet connection!! What's the point of downloading the videos then? Been seeing similar comments in the review section from last year, but doesn't look like anyone has worked on this issue!

I am rating 5 for the content but request the application development team to fix issues with Android app. Sometimes switching to full screen does not fit video and it remains small. Clicking on pause Play button forwards the video automatically

android app has issues: with airplane mode on the playback from device memory (lessons saved to phone) gets repeatedly interrupted (stopped). Forther, UI ignores touch input, very annoying. AWS couse is outdated.

Able to still watch content while relaxing at night after a long day(s) work. Really responsive, great UX, and isn't a drain on the battery.

Searching for course doesn't work. It shows the error message that "no trouble connecting internet".

I love the content but the Android app is VERY BUGGY. I paused a video & I wasn't unable to unpause it, forced to restart the video to get it to play again. Tried to seek the right spot where I left off, almost impossible, can't drag the time indicator. After 4 or 5 tries, gave up and clicked the time bar to get close to the spot where I left off. Next, tried to increase the speed via settings wheel, which got stuck on top forcing me to stop playback again. Back to the browser I guess...

Great app. Shame you have to go on the web for most quizzes. No ads.

It's good app. The only problem sometimes it freezes. Restarting the app resolves this.

Although the courses are awesome, the app itself is terrible. No offline lectures - it said the content is downloaded, but in fact it ate my mobile data monthly limit in just a few lectures. Very confusing and expensively experience. Trying to play a supposedly downloaded lecture with mobile data off throws an error. Also there no way to zoom a video (or I couldnt find it), which makes demos useless for those whose vision isn't 100%. In overall, use web version instead.

Very bad experience with tablet. In the full screen mode the screen just keeps rotating to wrong angles. Even when I set my tablets auto rotation off.

Nice to have this kind handy technical app however if we autorotate screen during course in Android device video is not displayed in full screen, request you to look address this issue.. Thanks in advance!!

I have access to this through my employers sso login. Now the SSO login option has disappeared without any communication about it

Great app, can learn things on the go. They have designed short videos so you don't have to always wait for having a lot of time. You have 10 minutes, you can complete a lecture. Giving 4 instead of 5, because whenever a lecture starts, goes well for 4-5 seconds and then it hangs on for sometime, after which the lecture restarts again. This is quite annoying sometimes. Developers, hope you can fix this.

I can download and view videos later offline, the app does the job for me. There are a few small things that can be improved: 1) the app is sometimes unresponsive when displaying the second half of all videos on a course. It takes a while for all videos "thumbnails" to show 2) the app appears unresponsive during or right after videos are downloaded (it's hard to tell what operations are in progress) 3) the app displays only courses that are in progress. The main website seems to be the only way to search for new courses

My review appears to have been removed. The playback on this application is horrendous. Every other video is skipped, and after pausing a video it will refresh and start from the beginning after 2-3 minutes. All playback buttons are sluggish as well (pause, skip, etc). Considering what I paid for an account, I really expected much better from the app, or for it to at least be on par with the desktop experience.
