Very nicely put together. 2 issues that prevent it reaching 5 stars: when buying, taking, dropping you cannot give the number of item, it's one by one. When you need to by literally buy over 1200 item....it's a lot of clicking just to buy something. Second issue is on the map movement. Sometimes it seems you bump into something invisible and can't move forward. It makes moving around really unpleasant and ruins the experience.

Not great at first. but as it expands it gets better. Especially once you get to the embark portion. But there is a lot of guessing in this game. Basically no direction at all. And when merchants pop up to sell you things, I wish I could go into my inventory and see what I need. Or look at the shop to see what I need to buy in order to trade it. The secret merchants pop up randomly and I'm never prepared for it. And once you send them away you may never see them again.

While I really enjoyed playing this game, both for the interesting art style, as well as the challenge. Sadly I won't be continuing to play since it seems that I cannot produce coal or iron on my own and having to loot them in small increments or buy then outright is an onerous grind that is totally unnecessary. So thank you for the interesting experience, perhaps if you update to include more manufacturing and production options I'll come back and check it out.

Ugly gameplay but pretty graphics. Gameplay: Ripoff of the 'A Dark Room' game and still manages to copy miserably. Becomes difficult if not impossible to beat at some point in the game unless you buy upgrades with real $$$ (which are needed later on). Also, typos are everywhere. Graphics/art: The portrait artwork is inspired. Not necessarily great, but I would say it's a good example. However, the overworld, text font, and other graphics tend to clash, diminishing the overall aesthetic.

It's a decent at your own pace kind of game. The art style is well done, and it's game play is smooth so far no lagging or long loading screens. I just do not like how it's more a pay to play type game sure you can watch ads but who wants to watch hundreds of ads for materials at 1x each..some materials are hard to get until you reach some new villages. There should be more quantity of the material if you have to watch the ads....

love the game but there are a few things that needs major improvement (1) there is not information about the items or buildings, about what they do or help in. (2) some events just don't make sense for example when the trap is broken and you go to the jungle nothing happens. if nothing is supposed to happen then why is it there? Other then that it's an amazing game.

As many others have stated, this is more or less a direct copy of A Dark Room. Only this one is MUCH slower and harder to do much, in order to encourage people to buy stuff. In other words, a freemium game that will end up costing much, much more than buying ADR. The art is nice, but not worth that. Just play ADR or A Dark Night, which is another very similar game but free. They both have their pros and cons, both individually and compared to each other, but both are far better than this PTW trash.

I like the take on a PBBG that this game makes seem perfect. Awesome job guys! My only complaint would be the lack of what items you can find automatically, after awhile you'll end up stacking usless material well you struggle to collect the others. At that point, the game lacks and it could be fixed with something simple, like coal and iron miners that require meat and wood. Hope you read this!

Boring. Lacking graphics is acceptable on this genre, but the game is also LACKING a STORY! A blasphemy on a supposedly text-based adventure. Sure, "you arrived on an island, etc etc," but the story seems to stop there. All I'm reading are the boring reports of resources gathering, upgrade suggestions or repetitive 'random' encounters. Maybe it's too early, (I've just finished my first exploration), but grinding for resources is not fun, when all I can see is the same texts, over & over again.

Lots to it: Turns from idle game to map exploration/fights with high focus on inventory management for survival. What it NEEDS.. a way to collect crystals, either as rare late stage item drops, or daily login. By stage 16/20, even with my stats upgraded to lv21 a piece, I can barely make it through 1/5 map before all my bolas/food/ammo runs out. I really hope the game is beatable without crystals... :( Also need a way to buy material (like teeth) in bulk (x10, x100, x1000 options).

When I downloaded this game I thought that it would be a standard adventure game where you make choices now and then, I was completely wrong. The minute I started playing I fell in love with the art style and how the controls work, I started by rowing my boat and finding and abandoned hut, which led into me building a fire, I gathered wood and a stranger fell on the floor in front of me, she awoke when the fire was roaring and that's where the game really started. Overall it's a great game! Wow!

Been playing for 2wks now, the concept and gameplay are amazing. The constant events that wipe out your resources by thief's and loss of traps no matter the choices you make, almost make the events not so special. And everything from iron and up requires furs only making 70% of resources useless. The game needs work on balance but I'm loving it. *edit* I bought items on here, not only did I not get them, but I also lost 2 days of gameplay.

It's an alright game. Graphics and the fact i can play this game offline is great. Slow paced to start but entertaining enough to keep me playing. The concept is great, but for a paid game its not that good compared to others. If this was free 5 stars if paid 3.5-4. Still an ok game. Also iron mines are a little hard to find.

This game is incredibly boring and so slow paced. To move the dial at all you have to spend money. Not enough to do. Who wants to waste time by waiting for two cool downs to complete just to start them again. Why build buildings if they open no options to use email? After a week its just blah....

Luk. G. Feb 27, 2019

It seemed pretty interesting when i started playing, but then it kept geeting difficult. To build a training camp you need 200 steel, which is not directly available, so i had to start collecting teeth and scales to make steel, but since even they are scarce i had to use up all the fur been collected, to buy teeth n scales and then have buy the steel....pretty tough and time consuming i should say😥

It is slow but the art story and sense of progression is on a level I do not expect from mobile games. I also admit to liking how the nature of the gameplay shifts a little as you progress not common from my perspective

I bought Crystals and it charged me but I didn't get no Crystals. So I tried again and still no Crystals, so the game stole 6 dollars from me I want Crystals. This is not fair. UPDATE: The creator go back to me right away and got me my crystals. Most times they honestly wouldn't care but this person does so that means a lot when the game creator fix the problem right away.

Und. B. Oct 13, 2018

It's just a copy of "A Dark Room", pretty fun but also really confusing at the beginning, the events are pretty unforgiving, especially the plague, you need to have all the resources right when it pops up, having a time limit to get them would feel more fair.

Han. S. Jun 17, 2019

the game is okay. It is decently fun, but you have to buy stuff in game it wants you to build a steelworks, and you need iron and coal to do so. The only way to get those is to spend money (only like $3) or to watch 120 ads to get enough gems (12 total) to buy iron and coal. If it wasn't for having to spend even more money in game, then i would give it a higher rating

Ano. A. May 11, 2019

As a *near exact* copy of A Dark Room, it is good but there's a lack of tutorial, instructions, and so it's pretty confusing at first. The zoom function is also pretty bad.

Jun. D. Apr 2, 2019

great game but the downside is you must purchase the crystal for you to have a better chance of survival in the game, and hoping that the developer will change the settings that the character will only die if its HP is turned to zero (0) and not when the water or cured meat is depleted.

Jos. D. Oct 29, 2018

There needs to be more of a tutorial on the game. I took me for ever to realize that in the overworld I needed to find and explore iron and coal mines to be able to get those materials. There is also a huge unnecessary reliance on the fur material to the point of needing to farm it for hours to gear up by trading it for scales and teeth. Then there is no sale feature at all. I can buy stuff using my gathetered materials but I can not sell any of them to get more needed mats. I have like 700,000 meat. I will never use that. There needs to be a currency that can be gained rather than a bunch of mata you exchange for other mats.

This would be a decent game if not for the extremely greedy devs. This is the paid version and if you want to get crystals to speed up getting materials (without having to buy them) then you will be watching 10, TEN ads for ONE crystal. Most free games on the store are way less of a grind than this greedy game. And you can find way better paid games for cheaper.

Sal. S. Jun 19, 2019

Phenominal. The experience was great and the survival mechanics(the consumption of water and food) wrre well done. However, the trading sustem for coal, iron, scales, and teeth seems a little too unbalanced for me. Asides from that, everything was great.

Really fun but simple at the same in learning how to play. There is definitely a change here as well. You can get into a routine of gathering and forget that you can build more stuff and what you need to advance. I recommend it.

A pleasing variant of the "Dark Room" style games. Decent use of sounds, hand-drawn and unique visuals, and a well-defined overworld map make this particular entry a joy to play, and great at killing time!

Rad. R. Sep 13, 2019

A very innovative and addictive game! It can best be described as a mix between an RPG and a management game. You build and manage a small community of people in order to generate resources to be used for exploratory RPG-style expeditions.

I like the game, but unless you spend money growth is slow. Also, I'm experiencing a glitch in which my real money transactions are being accepted, but the coupon/crystals amount isn't increasing. Update: watching ads to obtain crystals no longer works. Real money transactions are still not translating into crystals. Please fix this.
