A Dark Night
A Dark Night is a port version of A Dark Room, which is a famous text-based indie game made by doublespeakgames, it's much grimmer in tone, with a stronger plot and a more roguelike-like focus on survival. And it received a number of awards for its nice concept & great design.
How to play:A Dark Night starts with a few lines of text on a dark screen, and what you can do is pressing the “stoke fire” button. When a ragged stranger has come, you keep stoking the fire, the grey progress bar slowly filling itself out again each time to signal when you’ll be able to press the “stoke fire” button again. Then you will find more strangers come, and more resource should be built & managed. The resource can support your adventure in map, and you will find the final objective.
This android version is port from the open source version of it. And the web part source code is in the github:https://github.com/dragonstudio/ADarkRoomAndroidThe license is Mozilla Public License Version 2.0

Got pretty far in the game ( nearly completed the map with 80 villages) and the game completely reset. There is no place to login to an account to have a backup to restore or anything.
The game itself is as advertised. But the fact that a banner ad sits at the bottom cutting off a bit portion of the log is wildly irritating. There is a free version online without ads that you can still access from your phone.
Blatant copyright infringement. If you want to play a dark night for free go to the original website and say show desktop version, no ads, fully free, fully legal. Unlike this, which is a disgusting cash grab. All games by this "publisher" are rips of free games being reposted for ad revenue. All are available from the ORIGINAL CREATORS online, no ads or purchases either!
Awesome game, even though it's probably a copy of the original. (which I've never played) Anyone who likes candy box 1 or 2, or even the Gold Factory, I'd recommend downloading and playing until the end. Again, Love this game, no hate because this is a copy, but, if any devs reading this, make a game like this!! I'll certainly play it!! Any text made games, and any games related to the three games I stated, I fancy that!!! 😃
Just as an FYI for those of you saying that this isnt the original, the original was made open source back by Doublespeak games. Thus, any version on android is just a port, although this isnt the official one. A Dark Room will forever be my favorite resource manager game, and I have played it multitudes of times. It eases you into gameplay, starting with humble beginnings, until you begin exploration, mining, fighting, and scavanging. would reccomend!
Great game to pass the time. In the beginning it can be a bit slow gathering wood. I just close the app and the gather wood and check traps timers reset.
Great game but progress lost. When Android updated.i now have to start over. I will reconsider my rating if you make a way to back up your game. It would be five starts otherwise. Just fix this.
It was good until the cured meat button disappeared and I couldn't continue with my journeys. Then I had to reset the game, also resetting the progress before it recurring again.
Excellent atmospheric gameplay. I wish I could buy no ads version. ads disturb you from a plotline and break the whole game atmosphere.
Unable to use several buttons after creating a workshop. HTML glitch or something. Uninstalled in favor of a better version.
lobe it, but you may wish to fix an issue where if you close the game and reopen it you can gather wood and recources extreamly fast.
I just recently found this game again and its so nostalgic. The UI is way better than A Dark Room. Why do people say this is a rip-off of that game anyways? This came out in 2014, that app came out in 2016. Besides that games layout is too confusing. This one will always be supreme
Very fun. Similar to another game I played but this one is for free. And there is an add that comes up at the bottom of the screen but I don't know if that is because of my phone or the game.

Its all letters and numbers so when my little brother saw me playing it, it did not register on his mind that I'm playing due to lack of pictures 😅

if we could built 3 carts for early game i would be great and rate it 5.... the game was great and enjoyable sometimes it looks crazy... and pls add the main menu so we can easily play it you can put different button like.. save continue... best high score... camp level... and i would like to say REDUCE THE COST OF EVERY ITEM ON WOODS THEY ARE TOO EXPENSIVE..... thanks for making this app free i wonder you will do all of my suggestions thanks....
