I've been using the app for about 4 years, several devices, I always set it as my default gallery app. But the latest update brought a change that is a huge issue for me and others I've suggested the app: when I click the "Edit" button, it now opens the included image editor, whilst before it prompted to the phone app selector, then I was able to choose from the many editors I have. Now, it's a pain: I've to open edit in the included editor, then select the "Edit via" option.
I was wrong you can download more than one picture at a time to send.. Since none of these apps come with directions you have to figure it out by yourself....?!? So to be fair the only problem I have with this app is once you typed in your text message... it's almost impossible to go back 2 change something or correct your spelling... It keeps getting stuck...😟 That's why I can't give it 5 stars but I will give it 4 Star ⭐
Inside app there is an option for free upgrade if we invite 9 friends and they install it. But even after doing so I never got free upgrade. After i raised the issue they contacted me and gave reedem code for free upgrade thanks to the support team. Another issue is that deleted photos appear again in gallery. Something thumbnail is not showing insted a black preview of photos are being shown.
The only thing I would LOVE (and maybe I didn't see it), is a move to.... So you can move a picture from one folder to another. This is the best gallery manager I've used in a few years. Just wish I didn't need another app to move a picture/video I don't use an SD card. No need. I want to move house photos to my house directory and friends to friends and family to family. Nothing using SD card access, just managing picture folders
I like this app. Just installed, cuz my to-go-to app for gallery didn't exists anyone. What I like to see, is a details banner (renameble) underneath video's. I have a lot of 'm, and it's quite a seach sometimes. And why are edited pictures automatically moved to the A+ forder instead of the original folder? Again, good app.
Very good app. Only things I don't care for is there's no option to view photos at maximum brightness and empty folders should automatically be deleted. Other than that, it works amazing.
Art istic. Simple easy to use,full of exactly what you want an app on photo to contain. I don't have anything or any other similar sights to compare it too. I have only used this one, and intend to continue as such. I highly doubt it for appropriate ages.
No video folder? At least it seems after playing around with it a little bit that there is no specific areas for Videos. And videos just grouped into the rest of your camera roll or whatever folder they belong to (Instagram, Snapchat, camera, etc.) This is a fatal flow. Otherwise I would have probably kept the app.
The app was good before but now I'm facing the issue in secure vault. I added some photos to secure vault now those photos are missing and it's showing that there is not much backup space and I tried to upgrade that but it's not working. The photos were really important for me and now I lost it
I updated the app recently and now I can't restore deleted photos from the recycle bin anymore. You delete them once and poof- it's gone forever. The recycle bin folder serves absolutely no more use, which is a big bummer since I sometimes accidentally deleted the wrong photos and there's no way getting them back now :/
Want to like it but it doesn't have a basic feature of separating videos and photos. I would not give an app lacking basic features anything more than a 1. Looks nice but that's it.
No ads! Well, ads are optional and aren't require for substantial features AFAIK. It reloads thumbnails so you need to stop scrolling to see even if you've seen it before. Wish the sidd scroll bar was bigger. Cannot access it with my phone's case on.
Hi, the Dropbox sync suddenly stopped working. I upgraded to the paid version but still no avail. My dropbox is fine, no space issue, tested it. It worked for a few weeks. I like the app but I cant find any support contact.
When photos are put in to a folder, this app copy's them into a second folder of the same which I donot want very annoying,also only puts a portion of the checked photos into the folder and then instead of moving them, the photos are recopied twice over.....It shouldnt be so difficult!
I love the app so far. For some reason I could no longer delete or move media files in the default gallery app. I needed another app. This works great for managing my media files.
Looked good at beginning, until it started playing full screen add locking any way out... Some commercials on a bottom that's one thing, but there is no way I'm Waiting For full screen playback to finish before I can operate my phone
Although this app was perfect for me..But from sometime i noticed an issue ...Like earlier when i delete something it goes directly in the recycle bin and if I need them In future I could easily restore those deleted pics or videos from there..But now once I delete anything it doesn't shows in recycle bin and gets deleted directly .. Which causes a problem for me😶☹️☹️..
Absolutely no ability to include/exclude specific folders. Useless if you have lots of music with album artwork included. The gallery gets completely overrun with no way to thin it out
A very insecure app to use. Pictures in vault can just disapear without notice.. Also you cannot recover vault pictures when you mistakenly lose them. And when you uninstall this app and download it back, you lose all the pictures in vault. 😡 I REALLY HATE THIS APP cause of that
It's pretty nice, let's me actually put pictures up the way I want to for my screensaver but just like with every other gallery app I've ever come across it just starts dropping pictures from my device whenever it wants to, I hate that.
The croping is good, the editing gives a better experience and speed in scrow is just; thats why i chose to rate it 5Stars. Hope to receive the best experience in the update. thanks to the developer.
Don't buy! Sync only works with dropbox, nothing else! =(. The main reason for getting the app was to be able to sync online photos with my phone like Amazon photos. It is also advertised that it would work. However it's just not possible. The only options I have are dropbox and tha a+ cloud. I even bought the full version in hopes of getting the features this way. But to no avail. I also contacted them via mail but no reply. As nice as this app may be I am deeply unsatisfied!
I use the free version and like it a lot. Would have given the app 5 stars, but some of the ads with loud music is really annoying. Sometimes I am at a quiet place, like a library, this loud music suddenly comes up. It is shockingly rude. I understand free apps usually come with ads, but I just wish the the developer can consider using silent ads only. That will make the user experience a lot better.
Have been using this App and LOVED it.... BUT WHAT HAPPENED .... I am No Longer able to move Photos into Albums or Delete them? I get a Pop-Up screen "Grant Permission" when I click "Continue" .I get the Error Msg "Can't use this folder" IF ... I try "CREATE NEW FOLDER" I get the same "Grant Permission" endless Loop????
I really love this app. Just wish that it would support a slideshow. Edit: slideshow still not available in version 2.2.60.11 which is the latest as of 02.05.2022 . Found the slideshow button. Full stars now
I had payed for this app a while ago but it seems like I lost the payed status. Recently the app asked me if I wanted to see ads and earn coins. I picked "no", since I have already paid and obviously don't want ads. Despite that, I occasionally got ads (after using the share functionality). I contacted A+ gallery and attached my receipt for purchasing premium from back in 2018. No response yet and seeing ads occasionally is no option for me, so I uninstalled. I'm using a FOSS alternative now.
Great gallery app that could be even better. Once again I've had to search for a replacement gallery because for whatever reason developers seem to like to eventually destroy what they've created. This one ticks all the boxes, plus some. There are, however, some small things that would make it even better. Things that bother me - why display all the empty folders? No sort by size option, and finally - I've found moving files is painfully slow, like at least double the amount of time of others.
