A-Stitch Cross Stitch Patterns

If you want to design your own designs from scratch this is horribly fiddly. It keeps zooming out and tapping stitches all over the place. Wouldn't bother.

I wish there was a way to be able to drag your finger to make the pattern and to stop it from zooming out when you try to make your pattern "too fast" by tapping the screen.

Only problem is that I can't find a way to copy a project so I can make changes while leaving the original intact. Otherwise it's great!

Lol I hate this and I want my money back. Just don't do it.

Not worth it

I like the concept; However, when the screen rotates the design reverts back to a previous saved version erasing my work! Not happy with the functionality of this app.

Paid for cross stitch app for my crafting and it doesn't print complete pattern. Refund please!

This is a nice app overall and converts your pictures into cross stitch. However, not able to choose resolution beyond a smallish one. Fewer stitches result in the image being unrecognisable, as a lot of detail is lost. Would be great if we were able to preselect the size of the project. Very nice app if you want to design your own projects from scratch.

Could use the following features: -fill colour -replace colour -backstitch Could also be useful if you could 'paint' the colours in, rather than have to click each square individually Also, the 10-square grid lines are WAY too thick, obscures the design. Good working app other than a few missing features.

The app only uses the most basic cross stitch, there is no backstitching, no quarter or half stitches to help add detail. You can't create large patterns with lots of colors if I wanted to make a small basic pattern I could do so using graph paper and colored pencils.

Needs improvement. Cons: You can't print directly from the app. You can't lock the design once you're done working on it, meaning you have to completely avoid touching it. When printed in color, you can't distinguish individual black stitches. There is no color fill for large areas. *Now it won't let me open an emailed design and randomly fills empty areas with white stitches after saving.* Pros: Designing small charts with this app is quick and intuitive. Allows free-hand designing or from image. All the major floss manufacturers are available.

I like to stitch reproductions of the paintings by the great masters: Van Gogh, Monet, Mondrian, and the like. This app is robust enough to enable me to import photos of these masterpieces and recreate them in fabric and floss. It can handle as many colors as I've asked it to. And I can use it for needlepoint instead of cross stitch with a little creativity. My only (minor) complaint is that sometimes the initial setup can be difficult to get right. But it's not enough of a problem for me to downgrade it a star. Absolutely fabulous!

Great for designing, but it would be nice if the patterns locked so that I wasn't in danger of messing up the pattern every time I referenced it. I also second the request for fill. If I have a large area to fill, trying to move quickly causes the focus to zoom out.

I've had a lot of fun using this app, but it would be a whole lot better with some more simple features. I would like to be able to save templates, to copy and paste sections, to fill in sections, to drag colors to make lines, and to lock colors so I don't accidentally color over them.

I have been looking for an app exactly like this! I have even tried to make my own page on the computer that would let me fill in squares to make xstitch patterns. There are a few features that would be helpful though. Ability to backstitch and also ability to choose 12 or 14 count cloth!

The DMC colors are all wrong. Just bought all wrong colors:(. Need to fix. I love the patterns that it gives better than the other app. But other app gives right colors.

The screen zooms in dramatically every few stitches which is very disruptive, and it's hard to figure out how to use this app.

Like this just hope they can update it an give more advanced options but it is a great app to convert your image into a pattern.

Exactly what I've been looking for, a fast and easy way to create crossstitch patterns. The option to create a pattern from a photo is great, the possibilities are endless. I love it.

Everytime I try to click one of the create buttons, it says Astich has stopped and closes.

does exactly what i expected: create xstitch patterns, which i can edit and save. a fill option would be nice, as would an option to reduce the palette to one olour, since i also use the patternsd for filet crochet.

Absolutely brilliant, it is just what I was looking for to create a special piece as a one of. The picture is alot clearer than other programes I have tried!!!

I like that this app is way better than any cross stitch pattern making app I've seen because I can freely create instead of just converting pictures. However, I like to create on a grid that will match the gauge of cloth I plan to use so I know what the finished product will really look like.

This app works well and does what it says but you can not alter size etc if you import a pic from your device. There is also no way to control the number of colours used if you import a pic. If this was sorted it would easily be a 5

Really easy to use, and very useful. Just wish it was multi-window enabled, and had a "fill" option for larger areas of a single color.

I spent 6 hours working on 3 different designs today, saving along the way, of course. This app only saved about 1/3 of the two designs I had finished. Waste of a day, waste of money.

I like it, but would love to see the fill option to make it easier for larger pallettes. Great!

I don't like the fact that you are limited on the blank pattern size. I would like to be able to make larger designs.

Nice, but without backstitching option, it's pretty much useless for creating letters/words.

Does what it claims to do. I like being able to make lasting memories of my family members. Thanks for the app.
