A&W Restaurants

The payment options were shaded for no apparent reason and even after managing to pay, it defaulted my location choice to a place over 6 hours away in another state! I had to call that location, they refunded me, but then it of course was to take 3-5 business days to credit to my account. I should have just used the drive-thru. Deleting app immediately.

The A and W only 3 miles away from our house isn't even available on the list. The nearest one is 110 miles away. It also won't let you use the bank button and there notice that comes up will stay on your screen after you close the app. Unless. Can't give it negative 5, that's what it's score should be.

As the other reviews have stated, this app blows. I allowed it to access my location data and it is telling me that the closest A&W is 200 miles away and is closed (which I checked and its not even closed). This app is hands down the absolute worst I have seen and I have had smartphones since they first came out so I've seen some garbage but this takes the cake.

The app is all but non-functional without a third party account. GPS is locked out, you can't even put in your address to see if there are any locations close by(there's one about 10 minutes from my house) and it doesn't show up on the map at all. Pretty much useless unless you hand over personal data to a company(ChowHound) that I've never heard of. No thanks. A&W with another swing and a miss

Could not establish location. I put in the Colorado address and was assigned a restaurant choice for Kansas or Hamburg, Germany. After several attempts could not get the app to get the right location. I'll be going to Burger King next door. At least their app works.

This app won't show the actual closest location. We have one 2 miles away, but the app shows that the closest one is 32.4 miles away in another town. Garbage app. Uninstaller right away. Whoever is in charge of developing this app should be fired!

Useless. All the negative reviews are correct. The closest A&W it can find is about 38.7 miles away. I live in a city that has an A&W restaurant. I'm literally looking at the building right now. I'm probably 200 feet away from it yet this application cannot detect its location. Uninstalling. Please do not install this application on your phone. It is a waste of time.

I literally work a few feet away from one. The only reason I got the app is because I can't just make a to go order inside. Now I'll cut a little slack cus it's an a&w/KFC. So maybe they don't get counted, but they should if that's the case. Either fix your GPS or let me order in the restaurant.

It shows the nearest one to me Richmond Kentucky which is about 234 mi from me and there's one at 2 miles from me and you cannot put in a new address even though it has to form for it I guess I'll go in on install it I was hoping they would fix it by now but it's not. I can not got through the drive thru because of my voice so I have to order via app. But if the app dose not work then I just will not go there plain and simple. How many people have done the same.

Only reviewing to point out that under about app it clearly states...A&W mobile app ordering is only available in select markets in California, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Wisconsin and Kentucky. I'm only to assume that most A&Ws don't participate. Gave 3 stars because it's a promising app but would be a lot better if it included all locations.

The app doesn't function properly. When searching for a local restaurant, it doesn't recognize that the GPS is on. And when you type in local restaurant. It doesn't allow you to add to your contact address like it ask to. Buggy app.

Fails to work. Upon loading, it thought my nearest location was in KS (There's one in my CA town), and when I attempted to put my address in, it gave a cursor but no method to enter the info. If the whole point is to order online, this missed the whole point.

It basically doesn't work. There are locations in my town but it show locations hundreds of miles away. Also the user interface is very puzzling. It essentially was out out long before it was finished

I read the reviews before downloading this app. The location finder is considerably off. I live in eastern New York State and the app shows my nearest A & W in Dearborn, Michigan. 394 miles away. If you want a good laugh and nothing else, download this app.On the bright side, this app offers online ordering. I can order carryout, select a pick up time, and drive 394 miles for dinner. Would be a good app if it wasn't run by Computer Science college drop outs.

says the only a&w is over 400 miles away when I'm literally standing in the store. inputting the address doesn't work cause it only allows you to input the apartment number and no other information. useless app. uninstalling.

I don't understand how a big business let's people download a nonfunctioning app and doesn't even bother to fix issues with it. It's been over 2 years and people still have the same issue. I cannot put in an address in the app so I can't do anything with it.

It really was as bad as all the reviews said! Said the closest one to me was 70 miles away, when I was literally in an a&w. Was willing to take my order for 70 miles away though. and no coupons or anything. so pointless.

Wow, people weren't kidding. It doesn't let you find a location, just tells you the "closest". There are three within a ten minute drive from me but the app says the closest is 215 miles away in the next state over...

This app is terrible. The location says the nearest a&w is 400 miles aways and I'm only about 5 miles away from an a&w. You can't enter a location because the address form doesn't work. VERY DISSATISFIED

Horrible allowed for location ,but wouldn't let me add my address. App say there are only six locations in all of US , I know that there are at least two in my area . Fix your app

I can't select the A&W near me because the app only has 1 location registered in my state. Without selecting a location, you can't go further into the app.

Apparently according to this app the nearest A&W is in Grand Junction. Wrong, there's one a half mile away from me, I'm not driving three hours for a burger. Save yourself some trouble and just don't install this app.

App does not work. Picks the closest location as being 600 miles away. No way to locate something closer and cannot enter an address. Time to uninstall.

As bad as everyone says. Not only does it not have accurate location services, it won't even let you input your ZIP code to find a restaurant. Someone should nominate them for worst app of the year.

Literally the most useless app I've ever tried to use. The gps could read my address but the closest suggested restaurant was 2 states away. Is it supposed to be a gag?

You need to update your restaurant locations! The app was saying the nearest location was 189 miles away. My restaurant is only 6 miles away yet it wasn't listed as an option!

Yes this app is f_ing worthless straight idiotic, they can't get that even somewhat close to useful I can't imagine what there food standards are. Get with the program you incompetent fu ks! I'm not even going to try it now, your losing ALOT of business. Surprised your still in business at all!

I never been to A&W Restaurant after it was completely gone bankruptcy and it was completely out of business. I really need help with Inappropriate Ads that I don't use from Fake Accounts from the Newspaper. I rate this as high as a 5 on my App because I'll have to check out the Menu very carefully. I missed this place since March 2020 due to Covid-19 Pandemic. I'll have to review and tell others what to Install from the Google Play Store. Thank you for helping me out. Take care of yourself. Was hard to figure out menu and to order before getting their. The menu choices would show up.

There's been an A&W near where I live for at least the last 27 years. But, it can't be searched for in the app. And shows the closest about 10hrs away...
