At first I thought it didn't work as the check mark in options for the device didn't change but it does turn off A2DP. I would give it 5 stars if it displayed the state (background changes color) and the check mark changed. Android 2.3.4 Droid Incredible, Motorola whisper

Simple app that works. Easy way to force A2DP connection between my phone and car stereo after it gets dropped for any reason

great job. However, it will not work if the bluetooth device(headset device) is unpair with android phone. It requires both of two devices must pair together by android setting

Great widget. Was looking for the functionality to be able to connect and _disconnect_ for quite a while.. If only could be configured as a plugin to tasker...

My hearing aids work with bluetooth. I need to be able to quickly and easily toggle the "media" setting without changing the "phone" setting on my Galaxy Note. This little widget does exactly that, very useful for me. The only thing that would make it even better was if there was some visual indicator of whether the media connection is currently on or off. But as long as I pay attention to the toaster notification I can toggle it, then toggle again if I need to.

Hint: I had to reboot my phone (Razr) after installation in order for the widget to be listed. There are other widgets to allow you to select a connection on the fly. I needed one that allowed me to attach to a preselected device and this is it. Works perfectly.

It needs to be made where when you hit the app to connect it should pop up what Bluetooth to connect to

Would be better if the widget changed colors representing a2dp on or off. The only way you can tell is if you can catch the small toaster notification.

Couldn't get this widget to work on 4.2. Widget toaster popup would simply report "iSpeaker disconnected" and did nothing else. Because I know A2DP isn't easy, I will try again later. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . UPDATE on April 27, 2013: A few days ago, I installed the 4.2 version the author had clandestinely available at his download site. It works flawlessly, so much so that I've jettisoned my NFC experiments to get Bluetooth to connect automagically upon my touching my phone to a tag when I get in the car. You see, the phone needs to be unlocked anyway in order for the NFC program to read the tag. If I have to unlock the phone, then why not just make this program's icon widget front and center on my home screen. I touch it, it connects to the car reliably and instantly. Good on Jim for supplying the 4.2 upgrade. Thank you!!! 5-star rating!
