Pretty good, sometimes glitches on the E strong of a violin, telling the user that it,s an octave too high/low when all other apps say it's perfect. Other than that, it is very comprehensive

Old guy here with lot of experience on guitar and have used many tuners in my time, this is a good one.

Well made app, very accurate and easy to use. I love the quick access to different tunings and play note buttons. It seems to be a bit less responsive on the higher notes when tuning classical guitar, but that might be dependent on the quality of the smartphone's mic. I can't tell for sure. Nonetheless, it works just fine enough for me and there's is also an option to adjust sensitivity when there's much background noise. Love it.

Easily the most accurate I've been able to find (unfortunately an absolute necessity for my low skill level). My favorite guitar sometimes has a tendency to lose tone on certain strings and specific points on the neck, and this helps me find the middle ground so I can try and keep it consistent. Very, very good for beginners or anyone with suspected similar issues. Pros may or may not need help, but this would be an excellent tool to validate tones/tuning even at that level.

I have to say this app is a great tuner for a violin. I fell into the trap of blaming the app when something didn't work "like it use too" after an update. I know that 99% of the time if you delete, and reinstall it fixes problems as it did for me. We get so trusting of our cell phones that this simple response fixes issues.

Simple interface but not very useful. A tuner should show the frequency heard, especially if you're tuning to a nonstandard A pitch. The strobe is annoying and hurts my eyes. Also when I strike my tuning fork against my phone and hold it to my microphone the strobe is perfectly aligned, but it still moves for some reason which is disorienting. A color or numerical or simple bar display is more natural for fine tuning than the strobe effect.

Great app. Amazing service delivery. Tuning style is GREAT. But needs some more improvement, such as, in areas of graphic. There could be much improvement in the way the strobe works... I sometimes feels as it is being a little hazy and looks untidy, making me confused. But, ultimately is a great, proper, efficient app for me... Greatly pleased.🤩

My Guitar sounds Great after tuning using this. I really like this. Wasn't bothered by ads or anything. My old favorite tuner all of a sudden went to a $50 a year subscription model so I had to ditch it and get a new tuner. I think I've found it with this. I've used this tune for 5 years already and I still feel it's one of the best. Buy the ad free, it's worth it.

Very accurate tuner ! 😄 I'm trying to play the 🎼 violin🎻 for the first time ! Therefore, I like how it specifies the exact scale for each string and has the soundwave Hz measure to the 100th decimal place (i.e. 666.0 Hz😜)for precision. At least I think that's what the decimal 📈 place is? 🤓 Itegrated math in high school was hard.😬 Be sure all other sounds in the room or in the area are silent. The app picks up the faintest sounds and can make it difficult if your tuning at the same time.

Simple interface, great feature set, easy to use, and it's completely free. Alternate tunings are there by default, no buying extra tuning packs like some other apps... The strobe is very useful as well, and I like this app better than some other tuners because it has upper octaves- I use it often to check/set intonation.

I suspect that, "app overload", on my part - was the cause of a previous anomaly, therefore, I must change my analysis here, a bit. RE: "app, gets 'stuck' or, 'locked' on a note - even after re-introducing the note - until the note is changed (I haven't isolated exactly when)". But it is, still, the most accurate tuner I've seen. Reminds me of the Conn® Strobotuner™!

So far my favorite guitar tuning app. Distinguishes itself apart from the other popular free tuning apps by leaving me feeling like my guitar is that much more in tune than as compared with its competitors. More accurate, just as low maintenance and user friendly as anything else you'll find and comes with well-conceived features built into the user interface that a perfectionist is sure to appreciate. Don't sleep on it.

This is a wonderful tool. There are other positively-reviewed tuner apps available, and I've tried a good number of them, but I like this one best by far. It's ready to use immediately when you start the app. It's sensitive and extremely precise. Better yet, that precision is easy to utilize, owing to very fast and clear response in the large, uncluttered display. It's designed for use with a great variety of instruments. Also, there are no ads. I highly recommend this.

Tried to use this app but the interface is extremely distracting when trying to tune my guitar. The measurements go down to 0.1 cents, which is not only imperceivable but also unnecessary for any practical situation. The problem this causes is that any sight deviation in plucking a string can vary the pitch by 1 or 2 cents so it feels like I'm NEVER in tune. There's no visual indicator for an acceptable range either, so I have to ultimately use my ears in the end...

oh, my god. I've been using apps for a decade, and nothing comes close. I have a lot of violins... I mean a lot of them.... strativarious, miesel, etc.... been using garbage apps, where it jumps around to different octaves and is next to impossible to use.... not this. simple. pick your instrument, and it tunes right in, with no jumping around. hear the tone you want simply and dials it in easily. no garbage in between that other apps make you go through. just simple tune in easy; right.

Can you guys just build in a metronome feature in the menu so I don't have to switch to another app? Idk i think that would be cool Edited to 5 stars from 4 (which was silly to rate it one lower than I should have when it isn't advertised as a metronome). Perfect tuner for guitar and violin (only instruments I have) and they even entertained my suggestion for adding a metronome feature. Right on

Beyond superb! I've downloaded a few of these tuners, only to uninstall them after a while. This one is lean, exceptionally accurate and completely glitch free. You won't find a better tuner, guaranteed! Thanks, devs!

This app just works! It doesn't do a lot but it does it exceptionally well giving a very clear display of how close the tuning is, and is simple to set for different instuments. I typically tune with the pitch sound (just tap each note) then finish with the lower panel 'analogue meter' option.

Great, great app. Really useful features for musicians. Love the Herz setting, so you can escape the Gebels-tuned 440Hz, if you desire. Adding a metronome as a feature would make it great instrument companion. My only concern is that the app doesn't get spoiled in the future, as it happens with most good things in life :-)

It used to be very accurate few updates ago,but now is less so,as well as less sensitive. It used to be superior to similar apps,but now is just the same. As I tune my guitar,I can hear the change with my ears clearly,but the tuner still shows same value and is not responding untill the difference is too great.

I wasn't expecting a tablet or phone to be good enough at picking up the tone clearly, but it damn well is. Its even easier with my electric violin, i plug an aux lead into the headphone/mic socket of my phone and the headphones out on the violin, and it's so easy, not picking up much background noise. With my acoustic, I take the Tablet out of the case and place it directly against the body of the violin and it picks up very clearly and consistently.

Perhaps the most accurate string tuning app here on Google play. A one time sustaining strum followed by a few quick staccato strums is the best approach I've had with this app on both 6 string acoustic guitars and soprano Uke. The quick rapid strums help with background noise and feedback that is picked up by my devices microphone. Keep in mind the quality of your phone and its mic is huge difference between my cheap android tablet and my flagship Iphone.

This app doesn't really help me at ALL. When I try to click on a key to learn how to tune that note, it doesn't do ANYTHING. Overall, the settings are nearly in place and easy to get to. Edit: Finally! I figured out what was wrong;my bow needed to be rehaired. Love this app now! Totally recommend this app.

Best tuner app I've used. Shows all notes on a single scale with the ones in your tuning highlighted in a different colour so you can easily see how far you are in terms of actually semitones rather than an arbitrary number like other apps use. Seems to pick up the notes well.

This tuner works great! I actually turn off the strobe display because I can never get it to stop moving, even when it's displaying that the note is in tune, so it's distracting. All in all, excellent!
