I have notifications turned on for the app, but it does not send me any notifications for CC&R violations nor for anything else. The only reason I use this app is for prompt for notifications so I don't need to wait a week in to receive notice in the mail.
Normally not a fan of HOAs, but these guys have been pretty good, so gave the app a try. I was pleasantly surprised. Kinda cool to see all my history – building requests, payments, etc. and paying online is integrated, very easy. Push notifications is prolly my favorite – got an alert my payment has posted. So far app is updated often, they just added statement history, haven’t seen that before.
Just use the website. Compliance concerns doesn't work. Every time I open the compliance tab it freezes.
App is great. Able to see pertinent information without having to go to the computer. I had an issue about seeing my documents, but after submitting a bug report with my problems, they were fixed on short order.
I use it for the addresses and guest passes. Works for me. Having the opening page be my account is not helpful. I'd rather the drop-down options menu be the opening page. That's where I go anyway and that would be more helpful.
The app works ok on my Pixel 4XL except when I wanted to make an ad hoc payment it would only allow me to pay the accoutn balance instead of an amount of my choosing. Bigger problem for me is the app is useless on my Chromebook. Both the device and app have been updated but I can do nothing on the app on my Chromebook. Play Store will usually have a disclaimer stating the app does not work on a Chromebook. Is this the case?
Check ALL of the access to your phone data this app asks for before you install. Should only need access to your camera and read only access to media files for taking photos. No need for full network access, access to stop phone from sleeping and much more. Developer is going overboard in asking for access.
The app does not allow me to upload any photos. It will take pictures through my camera but if I have a picture in my gallery it won't accept it. The whole reason I have the app is to make arch requests and I can't do it. So zero stars if I could until it's fixed.
I went into the app to change my auto pay amount for 2022 increased HOA fees. I had to create another auto pay and cancel the existing one. I made the new one, but nowhere will it let me cancel the first one. So now I have 2 auto pays set up for each month. Not happy!
The app is not exactly easy to use, but that's not to say it's difficult to use either. The app is simply not organized as I would have done. That said, the app lets me do what I need to do... and since that is why I installed it, it does meet my needs and basic expectations. Three stars for an average performance.
Doesn't work. It says my email doesn't match what they have on record even though I got the app announcement at that email address and just signed into their website with it. I guess they just have to get in touch with me the old fashioned way.
Previous HOA charged me $15 for paying through the app, AAM's app only charges $2 and I can set it and forget it, get a pop-up on my phone when it's paid. Also nice to be able to take a photo of my neighbor parking in front of my driveway again and submit, have the manager get back to me.
Less Functionality than APP it replaces. is slow to open and slow to respond to search. With 20Mbps WiFi connection App takes 10 Seconds to Open, and another 10 Seconds for directory to download and open.
So far we do not like it at all. I had the same experience on registering: said my e-mail was not one on file. It has to be or it on file incorrectly; and I received the email as well to me at this e-mail! There is a severe problem somewhere in the AAM system!
First, fix you business hours message to include your time zone. 2nd, I suddenly can't log in. I finally got through to someone after noon EST, who told me to delete the app and reinstall. I did. It still doesn't recognize me.
Raised monthly fee, the auto payment feature is not working.
I cant really write an accurate review,but I downloaded the app and it would not take my sign in credentials. I logged in via computer and credentials worked just fine
I have been logged into the app for 3 months. Then two days ago I discovered that I'm locked out and my credentials are invalid. Now what? Other issues: • auto payment did not work • we were dinged for neighbor's garbage can violation. I did the appeal through the app providing proof via images and have seen no resolution. I contacted our community's management office and they have no record of the appeal. This app is useless.
This app is borderline useless. You can't submit architectural requests even though it says you can. After you do it over email it will tell you denied or approved with stipulations but you can not see the details of the decision on the app. Waste of time!
The autopay option is pointless as it does not pay the actual amount rather a set amount you enter which makes no sense since the amount changes monthly due to water/sewer fees.
System won't recognize my password. Gives me a temporary password to access the app. Won't allow me to change my password. Garbage app.
We try to submit an architectural request but cannot add in pictures that have already been taken. It is slow, and I always get kicked out of the app. This app needs work.
Once guest passes can be be generated in the app it will be quite useful. Adding Google Maps link when looking up addresses is a welcome addition.
The addition of guest pass requests has definately made the app a more useful tool. was not able to sign in using an email address and password. Had to login using G+
Not a good experience with the AAM app or the 800 number - no response. Multiple password resets and not able to get into APP. Given what it written here I now understand how bad this APP is - suggest you get it fixed.
Tried to register and kept getting the message that the email address I was using was not the one on file with the HOA. However; it was the one on which I received the message. Wasted my time.
The function to add a photo does not work. This is a huge part of being able to submit requests and concerns, so not being able to do this is a difficulty.
Signed me out, is telling me my email address is no longer valid. Wants me to call. In no way shape or form am I going to sit on hold for another hour with this company. Insane. I've been paying on this app for a year and a half and now all of the sudden my email isn't on file and my account is now locked. But I can sign in just fine online. Yup. Just. fine. online.
Made payment on time and payment was returned with no explanation. Got hit with $40 on late fees and didn't even know it didn't go through.
I have set up an autopayment 6 times now and every time it accepts one payment, then I think I'm safe but no, I have to go back and check 5 times now every month because they just remove my auto payment information and hit me with a late fee. Horrible app, horrible payment system. If you're only going to give me the option to make payments this way instead of snail mail fix your application.
