I love this. I let the kids use it for their homework all the time when we're not home to use the real one.
It is bad. Simply bad.
Simple and helpful
Crisp, fast responsive behavior, not slugish like other abacus apps
If the marbles we're a little bit biggers it will be easier for the kids
Please add sound to make it more realistic.
I am teaching my daughter with this app......lovely classic theam.....less distraction
with great design
Good for child
Old School to teach a slow learner
It's a simple way to show graphically how the maths work. It increases maths comprehension
Good app this helps me help my kid on his math
I have some maths now watether th.
It's very good app
The ads are just too pushy. It makes the whole app seem cheap.
Neat that i can clear the totals by tilting my phone
I was just joking my Lady about if she had an abacus on her very Ancient t mobile phone. I have Verizon, sg3: now I have it in case she needs to use it.
It isn't as fun as a real one but it works
Found no instructions how to use would only move the whole row not one at a time
Can't really be so general as to call it a "European" abacus as this style (called a schoty) was created by the Russians for counting their currency.
I don't know if you know, but this type of abacus has bars curved upwards, to better keep beads to one or other side of the abacus. Consider adding following gesture: when accelerating the device flat UP (device is more or less flat and is accelerated up), beads move towards the SIDES, as if gravity is temporarily made higher, letting the beads slide more easily to the sides. Downward acceleration should do nothing; this is artificial, but will make the user easier to use the upward movement.
