The suanpan abacus is structurally correct but the place values that are shown digitally at the top can be confusing because the "place values" are actually 5, 50, 500, etc. going right-to-left. So when you put 2 from the top down in the 500 place, it will say 10, but this MEANS 1000. Although the final value "reads" correctly left-to-right, it would be better for people to learn how the abacus actually works and maybe this app just put the final value at the bottom of the screen.
It is very useful app....it helps us to practice and make our knowledge of abacus more.....I have been using it for almost a year....and it absolutely okay, no problems are there. It also shows many types of abacus scales. With which, anyone can use any type of scale, SOROBAN abacus is my one.....I suggest you all to use this app for better knowledge of abacus. Thank you Tezsoft....😄😄
This app is great in that you can switch into any type of abacus you desire. It also has options for sound effect and value display of set beads. However, there's a bug after you inquire at "?"; you can not return, but will be instead forced to exit. I wonder if it would be possible for TezSoft to consider bead value or function of suspended beads in Suanpan abacus. For example, a suspended earth bead would indicate notation for unit rod while a suspended heaven bead would indicate value of 10.

This app is ok
I like that it has so many kinds of abucuses, but switching between them or changing any of the other settings takes so long that it makes the app impractical to use.
very neat, but for large amount of rods, bead travel is too long (a tad unrealistic for soroban)

The good - this app lets you choose among various abacus layouts. The bad - none of them work, and to be able even to uninstal it I had to reboot the tablet. A suggestion for the developer - pick just one layout and make it work. If you go for the 2 beads over the bar layout you can call it a Roman style abacus, and this might get you a niche market.Or just give up, and play fair by taking it off the app store.
Hangs up and won't exit, you need to kill it. None of the menu buttons work(settings, etc.) Bead movement is clunky, should be able to just tap on them to move them. Needs lots of work.
It good but slow to work with you need to turn off the phone to exit it but it works great.
Works fine. Would be good if there is a tutorial or game concept for kids.

This app works very well, looks very nice, and has many options. Second b screens we a bit confusing at first and it did slow a bit when moving more than one bead simultaneously. The main reason I am leaving feedback is because they didn't ask me to within the app, nor were there any ADs! Thank you very much!
