Abbey Music Player

One of the most beautiful music players around! Though with the last update the scrollbar disappeared so we lost the ability to seek through lists directly to a specific letter (which was really useful as I have over 2000 songs). Also a bigger "details" button would be appreciated as it is easy to play a song accidentally when you just want to trigger the menu (i.e. to queue it)

Great music player, elegant and simple, beautifully designed. But I found that I can't delete songs from the app, the option "Delete from device" isn't working. And also in the Album artist view when I click on a song it doesn't have a ripple animation as visual feedback to let me know that I clicked something. Selected label mode has a laggy animation on click event.

Most elegant UI in music players out there. Several improvements needed: 1. On the homepage, Last added/History cover images are not updated with the list, and opening often comes with an app crash. 2. Now playing screen - Status bar font should be adaptive to the current album cover, and give a pure color padding to avoid obscuring artwork. Love the design and details. Keep it up!

A great music player app with a great design and okay functionality. Giving 4 stars for now because some essential features are still missing. Love the AMOLED dark mode, love the now playing screens. But playlist editing is still missing and exporting playlists into a file crashes the app. And some of my album arts are missing within the app even though the song is tagged. Overall a really awesome app and I am not regretting supporting the project. An app worth 5 stars, but is not yet perfect.

the app is good. but i like more control on the app myself. may you consider the following 1. ability to disable changing tracks by scrolling left and right and using only keys 2. choose between an small or expanded notification bar. me i prefer a small one that does not take up alot of space on my notification bar. 3. abiliti to disable the now playing screen and only use the small screen which is alwys on the front without need to scroll up. 4. adding ability to view tracks as folders.

EDIT: can't open albums, and some weird playlist duplicating in Android 11, I really hope this gets fixed :( Right off the bat, this app is cosmetically stunning. Overall design is great, & the pro version is worth it for the AMOLED black theme and bonus play screen styles. However, it's not perfect, and could be improved with these suggestions: -Remove/reorder songs in playlists-Fix odd hitboxes in Now Playing-Make it easier to slide up the queue-A $1 donation button for Pro users

The sweetness of the app has gone with the 2.0 update! 1: Clicking profile pic now opens a card on top which brings back the old school style again. The previous style was so good and relevant to the app UI. And can't believe there is a permanent changelog label..! 2: Browsing music from folder is gone! 3: The new UI animation feels bogus on Android 10. Enjoyed the previous UI animation. # The only plus of the new update to get the music progress bar on the notification area on Android 10.

crashes every now and then, i just couldn't use it because of this issue. please do fix this in the next update. really love the material design tho. and it would also be useful if there would be a sorting option on playlists such as ascending and descending from the time the song was added. hoping for this to be implemented 😔

For real. I really hooked this app because someone actually uses Material Components and know what they are doing with the UI. Please don't change too much of stuff that far off version 1.x. Don't get me wrong. I am really surprised and appreciated when you are the first person who actually cares about sorting out "Album artist". Anywho, please bring back some stuff like disable volume control by default.

Yes!! You can customize your albums covers and your theme!!!! YESSSS!! It also has a clean look to it. I would like an equalizer. I don't really get the development thing. However, I hope you guys do well on it. I really like the app, it's my go to music player.

This app looks good, but it has many bugs, and by saying this I mean "MANY". I ignored the reviews and ratings for this app and installed this. I also wasted my money on buying the premium because I was deceived by looks. Retro Music Player was a lot better than this without any bugs. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED. Please don't fall into the trap. Pretty cool app with beautifully UI. It has the most basic music playing features but they can be easily find in the app. It also works smooth (met no bugs while playing songs ✌️) so I would consider Abbey a simple but totally reliable app that would be a nice companion for those who want no more but listen to music on their smarphone. 😊

I am using Android 9 and there are a few bugs with the current version of the app: 1) Song artwork sometimes doesn't show up when using the Abbey theme. 2) The "Delete From Device" feature isn't working. Otherwise, great work! I love the interface :)

Great Update. Definitely necessary. Just realized the app has no widgets. Kindly add it in the next update and Tag edits, include an option to being the search button or bar to the bottom directly above the control bar. Also add folders to the Library categories. We also need some controls in the pulled-down notification section.

The favorites button doesn't work. The down arrow key on the now playing view does nothing. Artist image not loading. That aside, it works and looks great.

Great music player. Definitely worth the money for pro. But there are 2 bugs I noticed: For some songs the album cover doesn't show in the now playing page and the favourites feature doesn't work. But other than that, Its great looking and I love this app.

Hey do you plan on putting the banner again? I need it please!!! It's been a long time without it. Also this is just a suggestion, blackplayer has an option to use the high definition cover art and artists images could you add it. Because I have a note 10 plus and it does feel a little under used. Also more themes please.

pretty good music player overall, the design is quite nice, i have 1 problem with this app and that's the lag, its minor but still noticable, it lags whenever i scroll up and down and whenever i go to the now playing screen. i really hope this will be fixed but until then all i can give is a 4 star.

Crashes everytime it's taken to album page, when the albums are expanded , also why can't we select? I hope more interesting features will be coming to this as well . And I'm definitely going to support you guys . Good job.

Loved the app with it's simple design and great UI. But after the new update, the app would constantly crash when opened. It would be great if this was fixed. Implementing a lock screen design would be great too.

Awesome app - my new main music player. Suggestions: add a scrollbar in the now playing queue, you could also have the app open to the now playing screen when opening the widget. also having a setting for default page to open to when opening the app (me/albums/tracks etc.)

it automatically deleting my playlist after a week or so. waste of money. And the app doesn't have any option to change the playlist background color, everything is blue. Thanks.

It's good but its missing a tag editor as well as it doesn't have a most-played playlist that a lot of music apps will create and that's really important. Other than that it's good but I really wanted to have that, so I'm going to wait until possibly creating the future and use another app for now.

The app is a little bit buggy and animations aren't smooth and I wish if we can show the song we play in the blurry theme without showing the other songs (I mean song in the left and right beside the song that I play) But in overall the app is great and it's literally what I've been searching for

i just received an update and the whole app has been redesigned, i really like it now and i would give it 6 stars if i could but it'd be nice to have to option to change the now playing style without having to pay, it feels kinda underwhelming to have to just 1 free options :)

I've been trying out some new music players since I one I have currently isn't as good as it used to be and this one seems fine so far. It's just that whenever I try to open an album the app just crashes. Any fixes?

Im bummed, its a great looking app both visually and in its animations, but if I try to click on an album it just crashes immediately. I'd buy the app unlock and use it regularly if that worked.

This music player needs another update very badly. I have to keep restarting the app to get the now playing screen correct. The now playing screen is also very bad, I just don't like it. PLEASE UPDATE THIS PLAYER!

Everything is good but I am unable to add music in playlists and also not able to delete the playlist . Please fix this issue fast . The app don't show songs present in my device I think there should be a refresh button

Everything's awesome, except, one thing bothers me. I couldn't delete some of my tracks from inside the app. I tap "delete from device" from the 3-dot menu and nothing happens... Kindly fix this issue to cure my OCD 😅
