Awesome and generally on point, the upside is that they also provide information and alerts via email so even if technology has failed and my smartphone isn't exactly performing at "smartphone expected performance", I'm still, somehow or another, not missing any important changes in my area!

Notifications are cut off lower line halfway. Android 12 The share feature has been broken for several years! They have never fixed it. Also the notifications always say SWIPE for more. That's iPhone, not Android.

Great app when it comes to notifications unlike other news apps. However, this is a brand new phone that I have up-to-date high memory and yet your app slows down the phone. When I press on the notification to read the article it doesn't come up right away it has a blank page like it's taking its time to appear. It also locks up all my other apps and phone. Sometimes I have to clear it and then reopen it because it will take a while for it to generate a page. Maybe it's time for an app survey.

Glitchy! Never takes me to the storey from the notification. Always says oops!

The app is in English, why are there ads in Spanish??? 30 second ads before a news video is ridiculous.

6/1/19 Updated: Will not load articles when I tap on a new news notification! Use to be better! This is a great app to get local news except that I use to be able to see the whole headline in the notification preview but the most recent update only shows only a short section of the headline in the notification preview. Some articles I like to read the whole article but others it was nice to just see the headline. Bring back the whole headline in the notification preview and it could be 5 stars!

Frustrating, everything I click on a notification it takes forever to load if it even loads. If I really want to read the article notification I have to go to the app and find it in the stories. Even then it takes a while to load. If I've already opened a notificagion from the news I can open a new one until I close the app first too.

Reveiw is for the app itself I enjoy reading ABC30. The app either never opens completely showing a blank white screen with a blue header or takes multiple minutes to show anything at all on data or WiFi. Currently running Android 11 but have had the same issue on multiple OS updates and different devices.

Crashing today. Not pleased with how the news stories chose when to download. Very in consistent. I get breaking news, then I try to access it and I get something totally different. If you hit the back button at times, the app closes. Annoying...

Ridiculous that you can't read a story because the video automatically plays and when you try to pause or stop it your phone freezes. I'll get local news elsewhere, that is also up to date and not having to sift through last weekend's news on Wednesday.

like it but a BIG hangup. latley when I try to go through and read a news article. everytime there is a video an ad pops up and starts playing even when I try to close it because I just want to READ the article not watch it. other than that u love this app. please fix it thank you

I used to love this app but now im deleting it due to excessive skipping. I cant even watch a whole news clip because it skips and I miss half of whats being said. Very frustrating! Now I have to find a different app to get my local news. Fix the skipping issues and Ill reinstall. Til then, goodbye ABC😞

Directs you to a page that has no relevance. I get a notification of a news story that sounds interesting, so I click to open and it takes me to a random page - no story. I scroll through a bunch of BS to find the "interesting story", and I can't find it. UPDATED 07/27/2019 from 2-stars to 1-star: not only do I not find the story I was looking for, but I get bombarded by advertisements, and the "news video" never plays.

I love this chanel for news! It's always on time and full of knowledgable stories about our men and women out there in charge of the laws and The United States America!!!!

Good app and news comes in fast, the only problem I have is when I click a story from my notification bar and then go to a different app and when a different story pops up on my notification bar and I click it, it takes me to the first one I clicked, I have to close the whole app each time I read a story.

Great potential but not there yet. Nice to get breaking news alerts but the app takes so long to load the story if it loads at all. Also, ads are understandable but before every single video? Not a great user experience.

Whenever I get a notification on this app for my phone I click on but never takes me to that notification, always tries to load the list notification. Then I have to reopen app to see it.

I have had ABC's 30 app for several years..and have thoroughly enjoyed it. lately however I have noticed an abundance of ads. I cannot scroll the news articles without watching an ad. This is sad. A company that should be founded on a basis of truth, honesty and openness..has revealed, that just like most businesses..its not about the consumer but about profit. Will be deleting and seeking out knowledge and news on my own. Peace out Abc.

To many commercials. Every time I watch a news clip I'm forced to watch a 15 second commercial. On the weekend's they seldom update the news articles as if there's nothing new to report. Its obvious that they do not work on the weekends and news does not happen on weekends....

Almost every notification i get leads to a page that will not load. The app just sits there with a white screen. its extremely frustrating.

Anytime I click on the notification of a story, I'm redirected to a different story. Extremely annoying. Been going on forever.

Push notifications do not launch properly the news information article. Lots of times the article is not available. But as for news, a very good program.

I hate how the video automatically starts playing without you pushing play. Sometimes I like/need to read the article instead of watching the video.

By the time the commercial is 15 secs in, I have read the article or the newscast below and never get to watch the actual newscast and see the video of what is happening in my town. Just think you can reduce the unnecessary advertisment and just get to the article I clicked on.

Never works right. Never can click on a notification and it play the video on the first attempt of playing. The people in charge of writing always seems to the think in the articles published that everything happeneds in Fresno, Ca

Was my favorite news app. It no longer works. I've I installed, uninstalled installed, uninstalled & installed about a dozen times since it quit working. All I get is dumb donuts . What happened?
