Abiding Radio

I would love to give this app 5 stars because the instrumental music is beautiful. I haven't found another app that compares but over the years that I've been listening to Abiding Radio, while I it seems to work fine on my laptop it keeps shutting down on my phone. I would love to be able to fall asleep to this lovely music but it would be impossible. Hopefully there will be a fix one day soon.

Good app with some great tunes but some challenges with battery optimization settings as others have noted. In Android 9 need to go to the system's Battery setting and then click on All Apps and find the Abiding Radio app and turn off Battery Optimization for this app. Some software engineers are good at setting up this so happens automatically on installation and some are not. The app attempted to do it when I installed but didn't work. Gets 5 stars if that is fixed.

Music is 10. App is 6. This has the best, ad-free, traditional Christian music. Unfortunately, if you want to stop playing, you have to completely shut down the app. If you just hit pause, then leave your car, it will keep restarting itself again after a while.

While I appreciate the selection of music that is offered with this app, one of the primary reasons for my downloading this app was to use it when I was in bed, to help me fall asleep. This app has a timer you can use for an auto shut-off. The problem I have found is that, after it shuts off, 4 hours later it turns itself back on, thus waking you up in the middle of the night. If it was not for this very bad flaw, I would give it five stars.

The app stops working every few minutes. But I really like the app, offering us, believers, a means to enjoy good Christian music without tons of ads. For that I'd commend the Abiding app! It's just very unfortunate that the app keeps stopping. For this, the app may not fulfill its purposes.

Really love the music that is offered through Abiding Radio! However, When I'm listening on my phone and the screen locks, the app only plays the next song or two and then stops until I unlock my screen. Would really love it if the app continued to work once my phone screen locked.

I appreciate the high quality of Christian music offered on this app. However since the new update (July 2018) I have found that I cannot use Wi-Fi, I can only use data for streaming.

Doesn't function well, it just stops playing randomly, screen on or off, doesn't seem to run in the background. This station on TuneIn is functional.

Love the Instrumental Radio. 💗The Only thing that I am disappointed is the sleep timing. Every time I set it up for 30 minutes or for an hour it will play for less than 5 min and then it will stop. ☹️. Please update the app.

Absolutely love the Bluegrass instrumental selection and other selections, however I have to constantly babysit the app because it continually stops after about 5 minutes of playing.

Excellent ministry in music!! If you find the app does not work on your phone,simply radio app has this channel as well.

App keeps shutting down or stops playing music. I allowed it to run in back ground and still has to be on screen to play.

I would like for it to quit pausing itself. Similar to a "hiccup" in the connection.

Used to work great! I used to love this app . Now won't play or will play for a few seconds and stop.

Doesnt cast to my speakers. Doesnt stop when another radio app is being used.

Doesn't work. Nothing happens when "play" button is tapped.

Wonderful authentic hymns, great for peaceful prayer time in the car or at home.

This station has been a blessing to me for years. I'm glad to now have the app on my phone.
