Almost there! Has some annoying UI quirks though: one is the "ideal session has expired" popups about some (successful, mind you!) payment of few days ago, another is the intermittent login dialog on startup,which I have to cancel to proceed with ideal payment.
why doesn't it send notifications of your account movements??!!! thats the most basic functionality of any other bank app in the world. Answer to their answer: no. That only works for Chavez in your account. Not for expenses or deposits. I want to see a notification for every expense or deposit.
The app is not working since end of December. I have been suggested to wait till latest version is released. Even now I am not able to configure my account in ABN amro mobile app. Able to do the same in other mobile. I have cleared cache and tried to reinstall the app in my mobile ( Android version 10). But still it is not working. Please suggest what can be done.
No functionality after OS update to android 13! Other ABN apps still operational, Grip and ICS credit card app. SNS app works perfectly as well. Going on for 2 weeks now, thumbs down 👎 Update: just opened Revolut account and app, this is working great 👍
super bank, friendly staff, very easy to use APP, update - sorry to say the APP was great but now for some reason it will not open so I have had to revert to the old fashioned way with card reader blah blah, I am very disappointed as the APP made my life so much easier, looks like ABN has gone the same as many other services in this country, blame it on the covid if you like but to lazy to fix anything is just lazy.
Edit: Yes! It's solved by having a staff to verify my documents in-person. Thanks! Original: I had several attempts in opening an account via the app with no success (error message: Technical Error). I also contacted the helpdesk and separately had an appointment at a branch in Amsterdam but they eventually led me back to the app with the same technical error. Sorry for giving you a 1-star here to get your attention for help but pointing me back to the app clearly didn't solve the problem.
Great!!! Very satisfy with the app, very easy to operate, clear and stable. It has been 10 years since I use it and they are always improve themselves. Thank you for the efforts invested.
it's a very basic app. Doesn't offer anything useful but transfer money and pay with QR code. Other banks offers open pockets to manage your money, follow your spends, calculate other costs.. etc. It's very old app. if you are looking for a bank who actually help you to organise your finances this one it's NOT for you.
The app is not working since the latest update. I am not able to log in to my account. Even the help part is not opening in the app. Only loading wheels turning forever. I cleared my data, my cache, I linked my account from scratch, nothing changed. Extremely disappointed by this experience... Excellent advice on removing the app and redownloading! Now, I am not even able to setup my account. Loading wheel turning forever and ever...
Now with latest update login screen is fixed but the spacing for main screen with accounts is toooo spaced out , why is that? Please stop with UX changes. Also, you cannot anymore copy IBAN of Direct Sparen if you long press on the account name. Why? Thank you
The app tells me to update my device otherwise it'll stop working. I updated the app itself to the newest version, but it keeps telling me to update my DEVICE. Pardon? Should I update the Android version? I don't want that! I bought an Android 8 device for a specific r.e.a.s.o.n!! No app is gonna dictate what kind of hardware I should buy!! Asking to update when starting, annoying, cause I open it to use it. So delaying it lot of times, better ask (again) to uptate when closing, or ask to update after closing when starting.
Why is investing on the app now done via browser? It's a terrible system that keeps hopelessly opening useless tabs in my browser. It was way better when done "in-app" Edit: when I open "self directed investing" and click a stock, it takes me to a browser window. Then, to confirm a sale or purchase, I get rerouted back to the app for my code. The browser redirect is really annoying. In previous versions of this app is was all inside of the app.
In my humble opinion, I think that this is for sure one of the most easy to use banking apps, with every single service that you can get in the bank it self, you can do it in the app and even more.
Always when it's important for me to pay something, you guys always have problems, errors with banking. How about permanently fixing your system to avoid this embarrassing issues. ABN is just as worse as ING if not more worse. Im considering swapping banks if these issues keep happening so close after each other.
Absolutely terrible company. App doesn't allow you to do things such as change certain personal information or schedule video calls. When you contact the company you will have multiple fruitless phone calls with terrible customer service representatives who have no problem hanging up on you after asking you to wait.
Not supoting some what older Andoid versions. So you get forced into swapping your perfectly good mobile device for a new one. In My opinion very bad!.
Since the last update I am unable to view my account. It takes ages to log in and you only get a blank loading page afterwards.
Easy, user friendly. As user, I would benefit from being able to take screenshots upon user consent and pasting IBAN account numbers to speed up new money transfers.
The app wont let me make transactions and now takes ages to load since the update. It was a good app and now its awful.
Please stop doing frequent updates with cosmetic features. Updates are justified if there is a new important functionality or you have to fix a serious bug. If you need to fix serious bugs that often, your development process needs fixing
The app was working fine u til a few weeks ago,then I updated it and stopped working completely...it is stuck at l log in with a loading screen!
Very easy to navigate. Excellent English option. I sincerely hope the credit card company ICS, will provide an English option too

Works fine. It's all I expect from Bank app. But i use it mostly for in view of account and basic management things. My main tool is still we site
The app is good. Service too. However • I don't like e.dentifier. To subsribe to GVB Flex I needed it. However, in my home-country (Ukraine) it's way more easier to pay or make any subsription. • I couldn't add my card to Google Pay before I topped it up. I didn't know that I should top it up first. Neither did the consultant I called. Though she was nice and trying to help!
App is not opening for almost a month now. It simply keeps on waiting after providing the authentication. It is really frustrating to try all the mentioned way out like re-installing the app and restarting the phone multiple times but no success. Is it that difficult to maintain a simple app for a bank like ABN AMRO.
App gets locked if you try to use "too much" of your money and customer support takes forever (more than 30 min) to pick-up the call. I kinda understand that this is a security check to help me, but if this is a feature it should be quick to do the security checks, and not a convoluted process that takes long time during a phone call.
On my Samsung J330, since the upgrade to Android 9, this app no longer executes correctly after being moved to an SD card. If it no longer supports running from external storage then the flag that tells the OS that the app is moveable should be removed.
