* Double tap a blank spot on your home screen to load a different background (behavior is configurable in the settings).
* Check out the background chooser (accessible via the settings) to make a custom background playlist!

* Click on a thumbnail once to preview it. Click it two or more times to check/uncheck it.
* Every background that you check will be included in a custom wallpaper "playlist."
* If you only want a single background to display, clear all the checks, and recheck the one you like.
* The "Select All" and "Clear All" methods are included (press your menu button or check the action bar) for your convenience. :)

This is alpha software! I'm releasing very early in the development cycle because I've basically reached the limit of the testing I can do with my available resources. It might run poorly on your phone, crash randomly and for no reason, or simply not run at all. If you're not willing to deal with potentially flaky software, don't download this application! But if you decide to give it a try, please consider taking a moment to let me know how it runs, any problems you had, and what kind of device you have.

Despite the lack of updates, this app still works perfectly on android with all features. To access the app and it's settings, you need to go to the wallpapers app where it sould be right there. My only gripe is that it picks a random wallpaper each time you turn the phone on and off or switch to a fullscreen tab and it's a real hassle if you just want a particular background.
love it but theres problems. I recently got into earthbound and wanted a wallpaper for it, I found this and was thrilled. the thing is there is no shortcut to the app. I had to get a new launcher to be able to use it and sometimes the wallpaper would just disappear. then I got a live wallpaper shortcut which helps alot but it's still annoying.
Great background application that runs fast and can display over 400 fully animated graphics whenever its switched on. While its made for Earthbound fans, the enemy sprites can be disabled. In fact its possible to customize which backgrounds can appear. Honestly this looks good on any phone. Fully approved.
Well it suddently stopped working one day and i had to reinstall it now i cannot locate how to change the settings of the app and i have gone to settings app settings then abstract art, so now i have no way tp setup my playlist again or set it to pixel mode so the images arent fuzzy.
found a fix!: looove this so much. used this app for years but suddenly stopped working on new s9 5G update. PLs Fix! this app is my life. edit: found a fix by installing nova launcher on the play store then changing the background and our beloved abstract art appears as a background choice. select it and change launcher back to the default and wah la! your favorite Earthbound battles are back!
just got the Samsung s9 plus and can't customize the choices. I can put in the app as my back ground but I can't get to the menu to customize which screens I want displayed.
Still works on Android 11+.. Be sure to change the output mode: Long press on home screen, wallpaper, Abstract Art, Settings, Rendering, Output Scaling Mode, Nearest Integer (sharp)
Absolutely fantastic live bg app! Possibly one of the best out there. I just wish it had more support with more modern devices. If it gets that support one day then it'll be 100% perfect!
Still works, even though it hasn't been updated in 8 years. Could be easier to see the preview, but still great!
If you're an EB fan and asking yourself if you should be downloading this, just do it. Even if you only mess around with it for a day or two and delete it, it's totally worth it. I can attest that it won't drain your battery any faster than normal/still wallpapers.
On Android 9.0, wallpaper randomly returns to default or just shows a black screen. On Android 10.0 it isn't even recognized. I wish it worked. Doesn't work on my tablet, car, or phone. Outdated.
Amazing! I like how good it looks on my OnePlus 7 pro with it being an all glass phone. it just looks so good. I have a question though. Does this work with smartwatches? Or would you be able to make it work on a smart watch
Couldn't find it, but I finally did! Go into wallpapers, veiw all, then switch from wallpapers to live wallpapers using the menu on the top, and then you csn access it. This is true in 2019 on a Samsung Galexy S6
ITS SO COOL AND CREATIVE!! I have one problem tho. It only shows me half of the wallpaper. Is this only on phones? If it is pls change it for Android too... If not pls tell me how to fix it! I finished Earthbound today too!!
This is fantastic, but one thing is could there be an easier way to access the app's settings sometime in the future? Cuz I'd like to edit what backrounds should appear
Works great, everyone confused on how to use it is silly. It's in the options for setting your wallpaper.
Whenever I install it, it doesn't pop up anywhere on my phone. I also can't find a play button on the Play Store when going on the page for the app.
used to have this on an older phone but now it doesn't work ;___; samsung at it again with their bs external marketplace taking over my themes. if yall know how to make this bad boy work on the s9 id be thankful
I love this live wallpaper app. I used it with my Galaxy S4, however, when I switched to an S8, I no longer can use it. Any help?
Still works great to this day, amazing customization and even the choice to remove the sprites for a peak tripy earthbound experience! 100% recommend
I've had this wallpaper for a looong time, and it's still my favorite and go-to. Wish I could still get to the donate version's bonus app, but that's okay. George, if you're still out there... Well done and thank you.
this wallpaper is the stones! it doesnt even use so much battery or anything and i find myself staring at the screens for minutes at a time because its so well done!
Loooooove this app, I know it hasn't been updated in years but how about increasing the frame rate cap to 120fps for those of us with phones that can handle it?;)
Honestly, best live wallpapers of all time. Find a launcher for these since they don't work on their own anymore.
It deserves 5 stars but I can't open it in my SM-G532F (Android 6.0.1). The phone has no live wallpaper option, and although your app is installed, I can't find it in app drawer and launch it from there.
Great little retro wallpaper App you are BOUND to enjoy! Sadly, I am unable to set it to specific backrounds like I could on my S5, but its still nice.
works near flawlessly although its last update was from 2012, id love for enemies from mother 3 to be included little to unnoticeable battery drain simply the only active background ill ever have installed
As an Earthbound fan, I really appreciate the app along with the animations. Since it's an older app, I'm not for sure if this will get fixed but, there is a weird glitch where the image isn't in the correct spot. It goes off to the right a bunch to the point where you can't see the character. I've tried everything to fix this, but nothing works. The only ones that kinda look good despite the issue are 2 of the Giygas ones. I really hope that this gets fixed in the future. Thank you.
