This app was perfect! Now it's horrible! It doesn't open, it keeps giving an error message. This is all suddenly happening since Friday 4/09. It shut down while I was in a taxi and trying to pay through the app. Thank goodness I had some cash on me or that would have been an embarrassing problem! The app was working fine why update it when it made it worse!?! Ever since then it's still doing the same thing. I even uninstalled the app and downloaded it again. SAME ISSUE!!!
The mobile app is very helpful and very convenient. Unlike the call center taxi booking, here I do not need to call the taxi driver and explain how to locate me. In the past, I was paying so much on calls just to help drivers navigate to my whereabouts. I am pleasantly surprised too when taxi drivers can already navigate towards my home without instructions. And so far, drivers from the app are more warm and more hospitable than those drivers from call center. Great work! Keep it up!
Do not download this app - always crashes. This app hasn't worked on my phone for the past 4 months even with unistalling and re-downloading it again. I always have the same problem with the app closing itself straight after opening. This app used to work on my phone so don't know if the provider needs to update the version available.
It was alright when it worked, but now it hasn't worked for 2 weeks and there's no way to pay contactless in the taxis... Which is a problem especially during the covid crisis. Edit: after months, the app works again. Regularly takes more than one minute to pay by app.
The new version of this app has been nothing but trouble. It crashes, it doesn't allow me to open it (just keeps saying "check your internet options"), and won't recognize my compound on map (and won't let me set it myself). Just started calling in again to book a taxi. What a shame, I loved the old version.
I love the app. Ever since I downloaded i don't have to worry about carrying change for taxi(with coins). From my side the app deserves 5 stars. The reason of me giving 4 stars is, despite of several trial to save my payment card, its just doesnt save. Pfff! I even called to center to help me,useless. So, I need to enter manually the details of the card each time before payment in the taxi.
The app had been working fine and Today it suddenly refused to open! I uninstalled checked permissions, restarted my phone (all while I was about to pay through app!) But it just wasn't opening! Thank god I had cash and the drivers never really have change surprisingly... but this is not acceptable.. please fix it!!
However it was good application and you add some few more options to book taxi. now only one can booked if we can booking together 3 or more it will be more convenient. mostly i booked taxi for guest and once we started Ride it doesn't completed automatically 😡 i have wait 20 more minutes for book text taxi.
It is convenient and eliminates possible language barriers. Pre-booking a ride is not so smooth. Drivers show up way before the time of the booking which is quite inconvenient.
No longer works. App keeps crashing. Update 23/10/20 - months have past and the Abu Dhabi taxi service app is still down. Very dissapointed. Had to go online and find an old version of the app and install the apk as a workaround. Offering to help at no cost. contact me if you would like my help.
The map is out of date and my apartment block (Ansam on Yas Island) is not available when you search, so I cannot use the app to book a taxi from home. If you've got a map based system linked to GPS then just allow you to select on the map not search an out of date database for landmarks....
The worst experience ever , the taxi app doesn't work most of the time . And the drivers aren't trained to use it at all . Don't bother even download it , it will waste your time . I tried it for a whole week and everytime I get to my destination 1 hour later . Its better for you to just stand in the street and wave at any available taxi instead of using this unoptimised app
