AC Freedom

I bought two(!) air-conditioner what should work by this application. Three people tried to connect the modul to my phone, no luck! I contacted to the person who installed the Aircon for me, no helpful... The only reason why I choose this aircon was I could remote them from another country. I bin lots of money because this device is rubbish!!!

Was working perfectly until I had to reset my WiFi details due to change in network. Now the QR code scanner keeps saying "Invalid QR code" for the same qr code that I had used last time successfully. I think the app is abandoned by the developers

Whenever i open this app, it always start scanning barcode for product... I don't always need to add new device So please change its start page to devices not scanning

We had our system installed late 2019 and I was able to get the system to work with the app at the time. It was working fine until we had to connect to the NBN and get a new modem. Now we cannot get it to connect. AP mode does not work. I tried installing an old 2018 version but even that does not work. To say that I am disappointed would be an understatement. We use to use Google Home with it and turn it on before we got home. Would never recommend Rinnai.

If I could give 0 Stars I would've. New AC, and was so excited to have wireless control on the phone. So disappointed it never got past the step of failed to connect to WiFi. Modem has regular and 5g as separate WiFi. Still won't connect to 2.4gh. Tried with Android and ios.

Garbage! I'd leave a detailed review but it would take too long. I'll make it short, delete everything and start again! This looks like a CS project from a junior high school. Also requires signup that wants a bunch of personal information that I don't feel comfortable sharing. It's really bizarre how bad is this app.

I couldn't even connect my ac with it. It gives a error and keeps on loading. Whereas on an iPhone with the same network it connects with no problem. Its a problem with android then and it should be fixed.

No longer able to connect WiFi can't connect with Android or using an ios, since they updated it adds extra "" each side of ssid and fails to connect. App also doesn't help getting into ap mode, instructions don't work with my model

I wish i could ask Google to block this app. Current version of app is buggy and cannot connect your network as u have to give SSID in double quotes and as they not exist thus will not connect your app to AC.

Brand new "smart" AC but never was able to connect to the WiFi so useless!! My vacuum cleaner is by far smarter!! I don't recommend at all this brand!!

Very bad experience. Not connecting at all. Several time tries. Fed up. I bought this expensive machine but not able to use its full functionality due to this app. Very disappointing 😞.

Every time you update the app I must reconnect the AC, but every time is harder and more unstable than before, just go back few versions, you did much better in the past.

1 Power option is un clearify by developer 2 Ac wifi system is too slow even many times it cant on automatically to operate with the app 3 Very slow to adjust flow up down left right need remote to do it

This is the Most pathetic app I ever installed. Why you people are not fixing it? What's the purpose of this app if someone not connecting to his unit. I will send an email to Kenwood Pakistan. Update it or delete it from the app store. 😡

Everything worked great, app was a little slow but as it's function is to turn the ac on/off and change some settings it is not a problem. After updating to a newer version of the app, it does not allow me to register using the code that came with the instructions. Plese help! It is annoying to have the same scan page pop up each time I open the app!

Buggy! On the 2nd day, I was repeatedly prompted to scan the QR code to use it, despite already doing that before. Then it worked. So, I thought everything was fine until the 3rd day when the app logged me out for no reason, and signing in didn't work. Literally the "sign in" button did nothing for a while. Later, the app showed my AC as offline when it wasn't. I also hate that it works only on the wifi we set it on. And the older interference looked much better.

this app does not work well after the update. it is unclear if your ac is on or off, slow to respond and navigation is unintuative. Temperature display is not in sync with ac unit and shows a strange ambient temperature (that seems very inacurate) instead of what you have programmed. Please bring back the old version, it was perfect.

Bad app, it doesn't allow you to change the WiFi under Android 12, what a shame

For the past 2 months I had been lead to believe that my Rinnai AC has a non-functional wifi module, because the app does not connect the AC to my modem. But i had been trying android devices to do the setup. And today just out of curiosity i thought to use an iOS device and to my surprise it worked. Once it connected then it showed up on my android devices. The app developers need to fix this, the app simply does not work android devices. Now that is works it wont let me update the AC firmware.

So far so good. Only just installed it. It would have been installed before the start of 2022 but only just found out this app doesn't work on android version 12.

App is good. But want the app to show how much current ac is consuming

It is good, however there are several important notes - I have connected to both ACs and I don't need to scan anything every time I open the app, please remove the automatic scan screen, very irritating. Simple widgets need to be created, just on off and +/- buttom for user comfort. Please do this and the app will be great!

Stuffed the app completely in the newest update. The solution is only available to android users and that is downgrade back to v1.28 which can be found on apkpure (dont worry its safe) Also if it fails to pickup the device i found that setting it up via an apple device magically makes it appear and save on an Android as long as they are both connected to the same WIFI.

after connecting the air condition for two days the connection is not stable then disconnect and now cannot connect to air condition, i changed the wifi dongle for new one but unfortunately cannot connect the air condition

Since they added the user login the app was barely usable. I have one AC unit and I'm using the 1.2.28 version of this app. It's more reliable and works outside the WI-FI network. You can find the apk easily on the Internet. You dont need a user account for a wireless remote. Devs like to overcomplicate things. Update: Version 1.4.0 smart assistant can't connect to the app. Works only over WiFi. Still broken in my oppinion.

The app has updated since my last review but it hasn't improved much. The UI is weirdly dim in the whole app. There's a few bugs, bad English in some places and overall it doesn't seem like the budget for it was very big, gives off the feeling that the developers are not very experienced. Overall it's okay, mostly works nothing special.

Useless. Pairing the application to the AC is ridiculously complicated. You need to keep the user manual to be able to scan a QR code from it. Upgrading the application resets the pairing. Once you manage to sort out all the lame requirements and have the application paired to the AC, you must be physically close to the AC (connected to the same WiFi network) in order to be able to use this application. Even when you are connected to the same WiFi, it fails ("device is offline") all the time.

I am using colour OS 12 software Android my AC is not pairing with device router I have much annoyed what is this please update your software cannot for pairing the device I am trying to connect for last 2 days
