I love the concept behind this app. I love that it is everything I've ever wanted for an apprenticeship, and I get to learn more about my future career field than I ever did in college. But, the app never works on my phone. It always crashes, fails to load, or logs me out. I started an apprenticeship 1 month ago, and I haven't been able to use the app at all because it always crashes. Luckily, the browser works well on my computer. Hope to see these bugs fixed ASAP.
Can only have 3 open chats unless you book a call with them to verify yourself. Except the calendar to book a verification call doesn't work. Also spent loads of time writing a response on the app and it completely glitched and didn't save, so that was a huge waste of time. If it all works, think the app would be great. Poor experience so far, big deterrent.
This app wouldn't open even after I deleted all the other apps from my Android phone. Update 6/29/2021: The version I currently use does work better but...there are features that freeze and require exiting the app and reopening. This has been the case for the messaging/chat feature for as long as I have had it. It would be great to see the tasks my mentor sets for me in the chat...don't see those active on the app. There's an icon for calendaring, which I think is where I would see the tasks, but it doesn't activate and the app freezes up when I select it.
I really love the app. It's informative and good for someone getting their hands into digital marketing. The one issue i constantly face is with the app not loading properly. I believe it needs to be properly optimized. This is the reason I had to give 3 stars. It really makes the User Experience bad. I hope yall fix this.
Unresponsive on a good day, absolutely unusable on a bad one. Pages don't load or take ages, user interaction is god awful. Tapping on icons don't load the pages they should, or takes forever. it's so aggravating when there's no easy way to navigate around (no back button), especially when finding mentors & filtering for certain results. Now that's just with the app, Acadium as a comp is worse. Mentors are just looking for free labor & are not vetted pros. I could say + but running out of space.
Years ago it seemed as though apps only pertained to entertainment and gaming. These days there truly is no limit to what you can learn, achieve, create, and manage with the variety of apps. Acadium is truly a one of a kind unique career tool and im really looking forward to where it takes me.
Marketing platform but a bit too expensive from the business side. You have to invest money, time and your knowledge as well. The only thing what makes it valuable maybe the HR part and you can find some aspiring individuals. The Mobile App is always crashing down. There is no one what you can reach through mailing... I'm waiting 2 days ago to get an invoice for my business because there was no option to fill it out by myself. It makes me think soon to cancel it. No customer support?
Nice idea but poorly built. App worked for 2 sessions then logged me out and wouldn't let me log in/re set password as it kept telling me it couldn't send an email to that address. After replying directly to a generic email received (no contact or support details to be found anywhere online) I was finally put through to support who responded with questions but never followed up. Was then sent a rating as if the ticket closed but issue still unresolved. Have re downloaded app but still nothing.
This ap is superb. Its user friendly and flexible. But later on, i have difficulty in playing the videos in th courses section. They only play for a second or two then pauses itself. If i tap on play, tjesame thing happens and this applies to all the videos.
3 stars for the idea behind, but the usability of the app gets only 1 star. I am unable to get a mentor cause the app won't let me complete my profile. I have followed all the requirements but it still doesn't save my profile section and it won't tell me what's the error. So I'm basically unable to use your services. Moreover, I tried to report the problem and seek support but there's only a bot that tells me to try again later... A bit disappointed. I was excited about the opportunity :(
Wow😀 This is the best App ever that I've seen that makes you learn digital and online marketing by taking Courses. You have access to be trained by high skilled professionals. The App is easy to use, easy to navigate around, you don't need a guide to use the App. The technical team is prompt in replying mails. Just awesome. This is just for you!!! I found Acadium as a place to harness my digital skills. Taking courses and apprenticeship on the platform make my time worthwhile and productive.
The GenM app is quite resourceful for the most part, but what I noticed was the contact feature of the messaging section of it. It doesnt seem to show it towards the left side of the contract button. So, is there any way to improve the issue? Because I would highly appreciate it if it can be fixed.
The Acadium app is really cool. I just want to state that previously, i always thought that apps are for entertainment only but Acadium has proven to me that education, learning experience, apprenticeship and entertainment can go hand in hand. The method of learning is so unique and i love the tasks as well. I am looking forward to gain more knowledge and insights on Acadium.
My college first introduced me to this company at the end of 2018. I was skeptical, but gave it a try. It was the best decision. The app is fantastic, the customer service is responsive, and the opportunities presented through the program are excellent! I'm one of the many success stories to come from GenM - I even have a part-time freelance position because of it! Very happy with the program and very happy with the outcome!
Super good app. One thing that is frustrating is that if I lock my screen while I am in the middle of a lesson I cannot resume it. I get sent to the logo splash screen and have to exit the app and get back in and start the lesson over.
Unresponsive, the only feature that works is scrolling through the mentors section. Partly anyway. Freezes after the third 'load more' . Nothing else works. Crashed when signing up. As far as I can see the only industry on the app is social media/website building anyway. Nice idea though.
It's a great app, nice concept, but i always run into issues. The only way to exit the app is through the home button. The back button doesn't work on this app. Now i can't message businesses i have starred too. It's a great app but fix the issues please.
I love Acadium in the desktop version. But I cannot even start using the app because I signed up with Google and the app does not have the option to sign in with Google. If I put my Google email address it doesn't recognize it. I hope you fix this, I would really love to use the app
It's a good app with all the Digital Marketing Tactics , the top Guru's are using but my problem is the videos, non of them play because YouTube is flagging it as inappropriate app because it has not been verified with YouTube , so please do well to verify with them. You solve the problem with the non playing YouTube videos, now all the videos are playing, to be frank, I haven't finished All the course yet but am certain, since one is playing, the problem is solved, you deserve ur 5 💫
The app has random times where it will not let me log in due to "not being connected to the internet" despite me being connected to the internet and other internet functions working. I have to reinstall the app when this happens as not even restarting the phone will fix it.
I love the services it provides. Especially for a person like me that is changing careers and I want the hands on experience needed in this career so if the apprenticeship is a success I can have a full-time job after it ends. I love the flexible schedule, the many options out there in digital marketing, and the community! I highly recommend Acadium for anyone that wants to live a digital nomad lifestyle and go into digital marketing!
The app worked great when I fist installed it but now it constantly boots me out and won't play the videos in the lessons. I was really looking forward to continue my training but I can't with these issues. May have to look elsewhere.
Acadium is a great platform for people that are new to marketing that want to break into the industry. There is an area to learn about important concepts on the website which is really nice. Probably the best thing about it though, is that it gives quality opportunities for people without experience to work with small businesses. There is also a variety of marketing disciplines that you can choose to specialize in. Finally after getting some experience on the platform, you can earn some income through their freelancing program as well.
I had to change my review. Previously I gave this app a low score due to a confusion and impatience on my part. I didn't realize that there is a waiting period between registration and the ability to access the app. After about a 24hr waiting period I have full access to the app and find the courses very informative! Haven't had a chance to begin an internship yet hence why I stopped short of the 5 star rating.
Acadium is a great platform especially for beginners. There's a lot of things you can do inside Acadium, from courses and internship. The app itself is working perfectly same as how you navigate on a laptop.
The app keeps asking to update it and go to play store but play store is not giving an option to update the app. All this while people are waiting for my reply. This makes me seen unprofessional while the app is at fault and doesn't open without update which is not available in the first place. Fix this please.
