Crashes when trying to brew Samsung s10e, loses connection between the scale. iPhone app was rock solid stable and this one is neglected. Edit: I'm in the market for another scale but seeing as the app has not had any bug fixes or updates in almost a year, I'm going to assume this company no longer supports their products.
These guys can definitely build precision scales! Software on the other hand... not so much! 7 attempts of installing and uninstalling and now I have given up. Really a shame that when you pay 140$ for a quality product, you still only get a less than half-baked app experience.
Does a great job interfacing with the scale. Sometimes it won't allow you to add picture. But now it won't allow me to share with anyone I have to screen shoot the profile to send it to anyone. It says file not supported. I have done averything tech has said to do.
Some features don't work on my Huawei Mate 20 Pro. The Bluetooth sometimes doesn't connect. Sometimes even after closing the app and relaunching it. I am also unable to attach a picture from the camera to my Bean Stash. It just loads the Acaia feed when I choose to take a picture from the camera.
Connection is so easy I don't even have to do anything. I assume it's insecure but who cares, since it's a scale. I just use it on the most basic mode and there are no issues.
Apps Timer always delay and freeze which is different from the time shown on scale. The apps has alot of bugs, appreciate if dev can optimize the apps.
Camera wouldn't load. Now with update crashes every time. S8+ Edit: After six months new update allows camera to work and app actually started working again. thanks. New update shuts off camera again🥴
Not only the app problems, the technical site also have terible issue. I have been sent out 3 feedback emails to the technical site since last few weeks but they totally no response at all.
After latest update the App just crashes. What are you doing about it Acaia? Coffee is an everyday indulgent for most of us. The longer I wait for a fix the more likely I will dump your product and find one that works. App is installed on Samsung Galaxy 8+, with whatever the latest, dumb flavor or food name of Android.
Since last update, I have connectivity problems. Now I need to restart my phone everytime I cannot connect the scale (it just doesn't find my scale)
i cannot gey past the sign up page on Galaxy S10. ive tried manual email login, facebook, and twitter. once it passes off to the third party app it either force closes or stays stuck on the "sign up" screen.
Great when it was working but recently started crashing immediately after startup. Began happening after I updated my Pixel 2XL to latest version of Android 9.
App crashes every time I open it. I've been using it for years on Iphone, just moved to android and so disappointed the app doesn't work
Work again, finally. But is already the second time the export didn't worked for some weeks. When you spend 225 $ for a scale you expect it to work 24/7. Or at least make the scale readable by external data logger.
Data (beans, prints) doesn't follow you as you upgrade phones? Wonderful scale meets one of the most disappointing apps out there :(
Cannot pair to my Acaia Pearl. The scale cannot be found during scanning. Oddly, I can pair the scale with Pearl Updater App. Need a solution immediately!
v2.2.5 is unstable. app either crashes immediately or cannot connect to scale due to permissions problem. using samsung s7
Really want to use this with my new Cinco but the app wont even open. It keeps crashing despite several updates and even un/ reinstalling.
The app experience on the phone and iPad is wildly outdated. Here's hoping for an upgrade. #android12
Latest update didn't fix the bug. Still crashes without opening.
Honestly, for a 270 $ scale the app is disappointing. The scale itself is amazing though.
Excited to get this scale as a gift, too bad app crashes immediately. Way to go Acaia. Returning the scale and going back to my Hario
Never got past the start up screen. It crashes every time.
Early days for me but it seems to work well. I'd love to be able to change the modes on my Lunar scale from the app as long-pressing the power button is a little clunky. Also, after plotting an espresso brew for example, it would be nice if the end of the brew was triggered by removing the cup and the scale returning to zero again.
