AccessMedicine App

The AccessMedicine App from McGraw-Hill Medical delivers indispensable support and invaluable point of care solutions for clinical practice through these mobile features:
•Quick Medical Dx & Tx is a collection of concise evidence-based outlines of conditions and disorders most often encountered in medical practice – perfect for high-yield review or for quick reference in the clinical setting.

•Fitzpatrick’s Color Atlas of Clinical Dermatology facilitates dermatologic diagnosis by providing color images of skin lesions, plus a summary outline of skin disorders and diseases.

•Differential Diagnosis Tool provides more than 1,000 diagnoses through Diagnosaurus®, a McGraw-Hill Medical tool that efficiently allows you to browse by symptom, disease, or organ system at the point of care.

•Diagnostic Tests, from Pocket Guide to Diagnostic Tests, is a quick reference guide to the selection and interpretation of commonly used diagnostic tests, including laboratory procedures in the clinical setting.

Note: The AccessMedicine App is available to users at institutions with a full site license. To activate and for continued access to the app, the user must have an active My Access account through AccessMedicine and sign in every 90 days through your institution, either on-site or through a VPN. Your My Access account user name and password will activate this app.

More of 5 min clinical consult than true access to specialist level information! Would have loved in medical school or R1 year, as staff or senior resident, doesn't seem to access same thorough discussion or specialstic chapters to read on phone. My institution doesn't subscribe to Up To Date, by it is superior mobile read. Otherwise, stick to real AccessMedicine on laptop (or textbooks) past R1

My institute has subscription for access medicine. I am able to use it through my browser. But not able to use through the app. It says my account has no access to use the app.

A ton of tools that appear on the website, would be useful to have them easily accessible on the app, but they won't include them.

This app does not contain the same data as the website. App content is very limited - to the point where the app's usefulness is questionable.

Trying to install for veterans medical use with primary care physicians won't help set up free account as stated, fraudulent!

Makes me sign in every time I open. Then tells me I'm already logged in on another Android device. I've had the same phone for a year, so that's wrong. Frustrating.

Succint and very useful information in some ways better than up-to-date

Amazing App for health care

Nice to have if your institution has a subscription, but if you aren't on their wifi network often, it's a hassle to keep your access when you have to sign in to the website from the network. If you let it lapse or forget, it doesn't automatically let you access the app again. You have to wait a day or two to regain your use of the app. A little cumbersome.

the font is still a bit too big. speed is fine. room to improve but I liked it a lot. qmdt and diagnosaurus are very useful

App itself is great. I'd like to have access to some of the other books from accessmedicine in the app.

Can't access books through the subscription. Would be nice to be able to move to SD card for storage
