Accord Bagpipe Tuner has been written specifically for the tonal and tuning requirements of the Bagpipes, and uses highly advanced pitch detection algorithms which have been further customized for the pipes.

The tuner is responsive, accurate and precise. It it also written to be efficient, so you don't need and expensive phone or tablet to be able to run it. The efficiency also means it has relatively low battery consumption.
The tuner lets you tune your chanter and drones based on a reference Low A calibrated to your chanter.
The tuner automatically detects which chanter note or drone note you are playing, based on what is the loudest/closest to your devices microphone. The gauge will then indicate how sharp or flat your chanter note or drones are, allowing you to tune them to achieve sweet sounding pipes.

Great app. 1 small point - When trying to set the reference pitch manually in outdoor mode, the font background colour choice makes it completely unreadable (black on purple?) and then it doesn't display the decimal points when typing it in. Would be nice if that could be fixed.
Super useful when tuning a pipe band. Pair this with a water manometer and some steady blowing technique and ultra tight tuning will be a snap! Chasing a particular pitch? Set it and tape down to your satisfaction. Get the full version, you won't regret it.
This app is very good, switch it on, play, adjust. I don't rely on this over training my ears but can really speed up a band tuning. Great for chanter but a little slow for drones as it sways a bit. Cheers
It's a great app and tuner my band uses it. I wish I didn't have to pay for all the notes if rather just use my little plastic tuner. But I get it it's a great app and very intuitive to use.
As a Pipe Major, I found this app very intuitive and helped with a quick fine tuning of the pipers. Also it was great to show individual pipers how their blowing changed when tuning each note to actually tuning while playing.

Tried to set up PayPal to do a subscription on my A70. App said I was connected to my PayPal but wouldn't accept my password several times. I logged onto PayPal right after this app payment failure Highly suspicious. App seemed to want Google Pay. Ain't going there.
Intuitive and easy to use a must for any piper wishing to spend more time playing the instrument and less time tuning it.
Very good app. I found that turning off wifi n Bluetooth helps with getting tunings esp, high G. Like that u can adjust pitch we use 466 Bflat. Worth the price.. F.C. Highlanders.. N. FL.
I have been able to tune the chanter on my travel pipes, a job that has been entirely left up to the pipe major on the set I play in the band. Drone tuning is easy and accurate.
Can't make any sense of this. Done trying. -Wish this app had a good user guide. -Update 5 weeks later. Dont even know where to start. The instructions are circular and random. -Used my wifes Apple phone for Bagpipe Tuner app. Easy as can be.
I downloaded the free version, and I'm trying to find out the prices for upgrade to the permanent and subscription versions. I don't see the prices anywhere. How can I decide if I want to upgrade and what option, if I can't see the prices?
Really have to pay for the full app, but it is worth it. I have placed in nearly all my solo events I have entered using this app to help with tuning.
Switch it on, play a tune, go back and check at a glance how accurately each not is tuned. Works for GHB A=440-490 and smallpipes A=220. What's not to like?
I've not quite got the hang of this yet, but when it says my drones are tuned they're about a semi-tone out which is where I get it myself anyway. I've calibrated the Low A but yet the drones still tune wrong. any help would be appreciated
I was hoping that this app would also tune my practice chanter. However I could not find an option for it so I will be uninstalling
Fantastic Tuner that doesn't take you long to have your drones and chanter in tune. Great for down tuning to Bb at 466hz.

I have never worked with a tuning app that works so intuitively and is so carefully designed. Been lookin' and tryin' for ages. Look no further. Would it be a tough ask to store info on different sets of pipes and their idiosyncrasies? So grateful for the good work you make our work much easier.
