It is easy to book hotels, see where they are on the map, see the different options for room types. You have records of your bookings and it is easy to cancel bookings. The tab where you can see your reward points, status points is very helpful to see when the hotels you have stayed at have allocated points. There are also lots of helpful links
Well I have given it 5 star and it does appear to have a good, glitch-free, clearly-laid-out, easy-to-edit quote obtainer with hotel search box. As in, holiday search facility/rooms and rates finder. Which is more than can be said for both the Accor Club's website where the main stay search is and the Ibis website - both of which need some technical attention and fast! With regards to the rate search being plagued by error.
There's an option to 'amend or cancel' a booking, but actually you can only cancel it. If you wish to change your booking, you have to cancel and make another booking. Quite silly and unnecessary steps. Why not just put 'cancel' on that click button to avoid confusion.
Payments do not work. I had one booking cancelled without realising and had to stay somewhere else paying last minute prices, as a result. Current booking again did not get through and I needed to pay more for the option to pay at the hotel on arrival. Changing card (credit / debit) as well as trying different country of origin for the card (EU/UK) or card company (visa/MasterCard) also does not seem to work. Points and nights from last stay also not (yet?) updated... Not impressed by the app.
As a platinum member, I dissapointed with the apps. Almost faced an error every week or two week. "It's not you, it's us." Today, I cannot modify and check my reservations due to system error. Not reliable for business travellers who often modify/need sudden and quick reservation.
Fairly straightforward until I got to payment confirmation, then it was unclear whether the payment had completed. I had to go back to the booking then confirm the payment again. This time it didn't go through a transaction, it just gave a booking reference. We all get nervous if there is an issue with online payment so this is something that needs to be fixed. I'm not sure this app is an improvement over the website.
Like other reviewers, I did not have a problem booking hotels using this app until this year. So far I have spent on average one hour on each booking. Everything is fine until I enter my Visa or Mastercard information. Then I get a message saying details are not correct. I have always used the same card, and it works for Marriott :) maybe that's a sign to keep my titanium status with Marriott instead of accruing with Accor. I suspect there may be an issue with the Authorize with Visa step.
Didn't have any issues searching or booking the hotel. No timeout issues, it even saved my search preference so when I came back the next day, I didn't have to enter it again. Booking confirmation was instant & even allowed me to add it to my calender 💛
The app needs lots of work. Unable to log in using membership number or email. Very frustrating. Techo's please fix this.
I don't understand the positive reviews as for me the app let you go through the entire selection process and then crashes when you try to pay or confirm with your credit card. At least the error message you get is friendly: "it's not you, it's us". Better use the website for booking a hotel room...
It's easy to navigate throughout the app. One thing it's missing is filter for price. Otherwise, it's great.
Same issue as encountered by others here, despite reinstalling the app. No issue with all other apps. The error message is "Oops! Your network connection is preventing the site from being displayed correctly. Please check your connection or try again later."
Years of constant errors and stuff ups.. so much time and effort wasted and so extremely frustrating
Easy n fast in every stages. Searching, booking, confirmation, all done in less than 5 minutes.
Super easy to use! I've booked way too many stays with it because of how easy it is. I would like if I could see my room rate and booking details without having to press Amend/Cancel, but that is my only gripe.
I used to have no problems with this app . Now it's a nightmare using it. A lot of the times I don't receive an email to confirm my booking so I have to ring the hotel to confirm. I end up with multiple bookings because I am informed that there is a technical issue. So I try again. And it may have booked but there is no way of telling so I ring the hotel again. I'm told your booking was cancelled. You have multiple bookings??? You have 1 booking???. Wil I get the points etc?????????????
2022.02.18 update. Current app is useless as it fails to finalize booking prosess - in last step it displays message that not all data were transfered and that's All. I tried to book a hotel yestetday - failed and completed by phone; today the same with another booking - completed using web. Valid for both Android & iOS.
Easy to navigate and I like the fact you can easily see features of the room in the photos.
Very useful and intuitive. I would give it 5 stars if I could access my invoices from the app.
Very simple to use, although payment would not clear at first attempt and by the time it would clear, the charge had hone up by £8.00! Not interested in ads though. Just want to pay for hotel we've chosen.
Excellent Hotels and great Staff. A pleasure to stay in all their hotels, app is easy to use.
Simple app to use. Gives a choice of hotels in the area. Doesn't include the option to include pets as part of the booking procedure hence they lost a star.
Easy to use, easy to locate a hotel and easy to reserve accommodation. And I was able to use my complimentary night.
Unlike all other major hotel chain apps, the Accor app doesn't allow you to manually add your hotel reservation to your accor account if booked via a 3rd party. When you call Accor help desk, They tell you to have the specific hotel you booked add it to your profile at check in which half the time they don't know how to do. Quite annoying and non customer friendly process.
First time I have used the app (usually book on website) and it was really easy to use and did everything I needed.

Ok but lacks detailed hotel information and hotel not easy to contact. I simply wanted to know if the restaurant was open tonight, called a number found on the app which took me to a reservation centre. The option 3 to reach the hotel directly actually disconnected the call 3 times in a row. In the end I spoke with someone taking booking and was eventually given the direct number. It would have made it an easier process to have this number or the restaurant information directly on the app.
