Edit: Finally got the steps to work but now it wont save the goal steps!!! Its just bug after bug since the update. Had no problems till then! Updated and stopped counting. I changed the optimization settings like it says to, but still not working!!
Pretty accurate pedometer app. But it says it included GPS activity tracker. I can't find anyway to use it.
Hi I have a problem with your app maybe it doesn't much with Google pixel 6 but after 5 second it closing by itself I don't know why
There are a lot of pedometer apps to choose from, and I chose this one for it's features. I first discovered that it only counts steps when the app is on the screen, and the screen is visible. A small glitch that I dealt with. After 5 or 6 days of use it quit counting steps altogether. I deleted it off of my phone and will look for a new app. I can assure you I won't pay for any premium features if the free features won't work on a given app.
been using the app for years. since i keep my phone on me (either in my pocket or belt clip) it is very accurate. love that the app keeps records and i can easily look back over the past year and see my trends. my only complaint (and i just haven't taken the time to figure it out) is that under the latest Android OS the app doesn't automatically run.
This free version is fantastic. Charts everything, kcal, distance etc. There's motivational messages and reminders, you can look back at your history. Easy to navigate, and easy to read. This is the best free step counter I have tried and I have looked at a lot, best of all it works with My Fitness Pal. Its that good I'll be going full version as soon as funds are more available. . Superb app.
So far alot more accurate than Google fit... This app seemed to work alot better than Google fit. GF is always over the actual mileage. This tracked very accurately. The messages could be a little more encouraging. I walked 4 miles in the morning and it told me I wasn't active enough. Also add a way to manually enter in steps just in case you forget to turn it on or it crashes. It crashed once on me but I'll give it the benefit of the doubt because my phone has little memory left on it...
11/09/2021: Back to 5 stars. Received instructions how to find the version I paid for. Took some doing (because my purchase history is very long), but I got it done. Thank you for your excellent customer service! 11/04/2021: I PAID FOR the PRO version some years ago. You know, to support the developers. It worked fine until I got this new phone. Now apparently the PRO version is no longer available. VERY displeased. 10/30/2021: Have been using for some years, first as free version, then as paid. Aside from a bit of difficulty when I upgraded my phone, the app seems to work well. It certainly works better than my exercise regimen! When things went wrong on phone upgrade, the rep responded quickly and got things untangled in a jiff. Or is it a GIF? I never know these days. Point is, they done good. Me happy!
I just wanted a simple pedometer. I don't know what this app's additional features are, but if you just want to count your steps you don't have to worry about numerous lifestyle settings that a feature-heavy app may have. Also not taking a lot of space. I can read the steps in a simple widget or in a simple notification. Perfect for me.
Just using it initially as a step /distance counter/tracker. And it does the job every time, for me, no complaints, no random crashes, it just does what it is supposed to. Only minor issue, cannot pause tracker, while it's showing the firework explosion, congratulating on daily goal, have to wait for the animation to finish
Love this app. I have to do a lot of walking due to a heart condition. I measured my average step/stride length before using the app and can confirm that my step count is quite accurate . Nice that the step count can be changed. For example, when I forget to put the app "on hold" while in the house it allows me to deduct any number of steps that were rung up while puttering, say around the kitchen. All I care about are real walking steps. Don't buy an exercise watch. This is the cat's meow.
This is a good ap which gives a good profile of activity and weight management. Unfortunately it does not go back further than 12 months and old databases can not be merged (a problem if you've been a customer for years as when you get a phone problem the the is lost). Also, now the ap has moved to being a paid for product I'll be surprised if it is supported for long, there was no improvement to the product, such as resolving the above during the change. A shame.
I just want to count my steps accurately, I don't need heart rate, and I don't want it to drain battery. This app does its job. It counts your steps accurately, app doesn't need to be open, the step number is visible in lock screen. And most importantly, it can differentiate between driving and walking/running. Love it
I love this app, it suits my needs. I don't need an all singing and dancing programme, just a simple guide to steps, distance, speed and calories. I've found it to be an accurate step counter, plus a great help for noting burnt calories. I use it as a guide to my 10k daily steps. I have found it to be the most accurate app to fit my requirements without being overwhelmed by ads.
As Elena A has just described; this app has stopped working in the background which was always the majority of my steps during the day as I work in a large factory. It'll work if it's switched on to a particular activity such as a run or walk and is very accurate...but my day to day steps are no longer counted. My battery saving settings are turned off and I have the latest updates for Accupedo and Android (10) so it must be your updates that have stopped it running in the background...shame.
Uninstalled. Didn't count steps accurately AT ALL, even after modifying the settings from standard to most sensitive and the other thing that uses more battery consumption. I tried different levels and nope, I had to keep editing my steps myself so what's the point of having this? Might as well walk around with a pen and paper on hand and just write them down. Very disappointed.
The app used to be alot better. Now it keeps on losing steps on me and goes back to zero.
I uninstalled another Pedometer App(Pacer 😚) last year. But, it kept "stalling" and didn't really give "real-time" accurate results -especially when it had to 'sync' the data with "MyFitnessPal". Instead, I installed "Accupedo" about a month ago. It doesn't "freeze" up and really keeps better 'realtime' Steps data with "MyFitnessPal."
I originally gave this app 5 stars as it has been really useful over 10 months since install but firstly my partner's app froze and would not restart. We did a clear reinstall and it's working. Now mine has frozen. I have changed the step counting method, stopped and started it then finally deleted and reinstalled. Today it froze again in the new installation. A year's record is lost so I am annoyed but reluctantly I am uninstalling permanently and looking for a replacement app.
User friendly, ability to back up activity is a plus. Been using for 2 years, very stable app.
It's a good app, but how about a simple reset button??
Love this app. I use it for two month already. It is most accurate and working well app of all those I've tried before. One thing, it does not start counting steps at the begining of the day by itself (or maybe I did not find how to turn it on), you should open it and then counting begins. Still it is not big problem for me. Five stars so far ☺️
On Android 12 tried this app as suggested to link to MyFitnessPal. It will not connect with the MyFitnessPal as advertised that it does, not worth getting or paying for as the support as stated it won't work with Android 11 and above and there are no plans to fix it in the future. Seems like it would be great would have paid for the pro but not when it won't function as needed or advertised.
